It’s two faced and petty, and most of all, it’s actually shades of bully boy behaviour picking on someone you know can’t fight back for what ever reason,
All that scene served to prove is that Hook is still the same person he was when he bullied a crippled Rumple a couple hundred years ago. Yet even though they’re writing him that way, they’re simultaneously writing him as being redeemed and a swell guy. DOES NOT FREAKING COMPUTE AND MAKES ME WANT TO FLIP ALL THE TABLES.

Maleficent going to Snowing, and being so emotionally vulnerable, it felt way too sudden and I didn’t really buy it.
But when she saw Lily as a dragon, her sense of awe and love, it felt genuine and I liked it.
And I liked their final scene together too.
It’s just the part near the start where she’s suddenly gone all soft, it felt out of character.
I’ve gotta give JMo some credit, she actually sold the complicated emotions that Emma STILL HAS for Neal.
She took their dreamcatcher HOME with her, and no one can convince me otherwise.
OMG they’re actually gonna style Ginny’s hair in a way that doesn’t look hideous?! (They make her look horrible in SB these days, she should stick to being evil, looks much better on her.)
Second that. Bonus points if Belle gets to take a gal pal with her like Ruby or Mulan.
I still have a very faint glimmer of hope *shudder* that they could do more with Mulan at some point. They’ve clearly washed their hands of Red though, and there was that one time when they already showed her about to leave town, so I’m fine with her being Belle’s travel buddy, at least then there’d be an actual reason why Red’s never seen.
I really want the Sorcerer to be the Blue Fairy a.k.a “the original power” disguising her voice.
That’s what I think, based on the superficial fact that the colours of the Sorcerer are very much like Blue’s costume. Mostly that icy blue, but with pops of warmer colours, on her costume it’s the flowers, in the smoke it’s swirling lights that colour parts of the smoke. The only bit that’s not quite matchy is there are dots of red in the smoke, and Blue’s costume only goes to pink, but that’s not a dealbreaker for me. The appearance of the Sorcerer just SCREAMS Blue to me.
And if she doesn’t wanna be found out, what simpler and more effective way to throw people off than to disguise her voice to sound like a man.
Honest to god? That still wouldn’t do it for me. What Rumple has become is sickening. He’s Not!Rumple and the way he has manipulated, toyed with, and used Belle is utterly disgusting. If she goes back to him after everything–after using her to put the town in danger, after lying to get his dagger back, after teaming up with villains who wanted to erase the heroics of Belle’s “friends and family–if she goes back to him after all that, then she is a ninny. A strawheaded ninny prop who’s only purpose is to be Google and arm candy.
THAT! (Only replace “ninny” with a stronger term not allowed on this forum to properly convey exactly how stupid I think she’d be.)
. I say bring on the studs… or you know they could create a storyline for Belle outside of a relationship with a man.
So I started running through other residents of SB to see who else is available, and for 5 seconds I shipped WoodenBeauty (because the writer and the girl who adores books). But then I decided that Belle should leave town. If Rumple dies, she inherits his wealth, and uses that money to go and travel around the world, exploring all the things, seeing all the places, learning about all the people and cultures. Even not having Rumple, that would be a happy ending for her, because it’s what she’s always dreamed of, even before Rumple was in her life. His (death) proving her the resources to make her dream come true would keep him as part of her happiness even though he’s not there with her.
