Swearing is just another part of language IMO. Yes it can be used in truly offensive ways, but it can also be used in an acceptable context, and by adults, and I don’t see the big deal. If something bad happens in my life, “Oh no” may well not be sufficient to properly express my frustration, but a hearty F-bomb will do the job quite nicely and make me feel better. My friends and I use the B-word as a term of endearment towards each other. We know the context it’s being used in, and it’s not offensive. If it’s used in a derogatory way towards someone, that’s a different story, but there are plenty of ways in which that word is perfectly acceptable IMO. I have friends who don’t swear, people who say “heck” instead of “hell”, or even, “Oh my gosh,” instead of “Oh my God,” and that’s fine. I’m not gonna make people swear if they don’t want to, and if I’m speaking directly to them, I won’t swear either. But swearing in general is just words I use as a form of expression.

After Rumple’s phone call to Belle, I think Bae was willing to give Rumple another chance since he saw how much Rumple could care for someone other than himself. However, Rumple screwed up. Rumple didn’t seek out Bae after he didn’t die, possibly because he wasn’t sure how the land lay with his son now he wasn’t dying, obviously the prophesy was playing on Rumple’s mind and the whole Lacey fiasco kicked up.

I get why Nealfire was angry in that scene where Rumple had his shoe in Victor’s face, (brought back all sorts of horrible memories), but at the same time…it takes two…and after the stuff with Cora and Regina went down, Neal was preparing to take Henry back to NYC instead of staying to work on his relationship with dear old dad. If Rumple had got wind of that, then no wonder he’d taken a step back. He went to see Belle in hospital because he felt he needed her support before he was able to face his son. And then Lacey showed up, so that wasn’t terribly helpful.

One thing I’m hoping for the coming season is Neal making his way back to Storybrooke and getting to know Belle. He’s never met the real Belle and I don’t thing its really been explained to him what has actually happened to her.

This is so vital! Think of all the stuff Neal overheard Rumple say during that phone call, about how she inspired him to be the best version of himself. Neal thinks Rumple was heaping all that praise on Lacey. His perspective is totally backwards, so he needs to meet Belle ASAP!

Belle has always seen through to the good that’s buried inside Rumple. Blue said to Bae, “You are the part of him that keeps him human. That little light inside of him that still glows. It’s his love for you.” Seriously, someone get Nealfire and Belle in the same room to have a chat!

Nealfires’s been through a whole lotta hell in his time. He was rejected by his mother. His father turned evil and then chose power over him. Lived on London’s streets for 6 months. Had a couple of lovely weeks with the Darlings, finally feeling like he belonged, then he sacrificed himself to save the family. Then he started to trust Hook, but found out he was being used. We dunno yet what he went through in NL, or his years in our world before Emma, but safe to say it wasn’t fun and games. Then he met Emma, and he found happiness again, and then it was revealed to him who she was and that the only way for her to get back to her family, was if he gave her up. Now he’s been used all over again by Tamara. And it seems like his father hasn’t changed, even though it’s been a couple hundred years. Frankly, I don’t blame him if he’s feeling like he’s not worthy of a happy ending. Poor guy has been kicked down so many times. So if he’s quick to believe that his relationship with his father is hopeless and unfixable, that’s really not surprising.

Hopefully whatever goes down in NL with saving Henry will prove that Rumple is redeemable, so they can start to truly turn things around.

Remember how during the CC Panel, Colin and JMo casually commented about having shared a drink, and then someone tweeted Adam if that was a spoiler and he said maybe? I reckon Hook’s having a stiff drink, Emma walks in and comments about him getting drunk, and this script tease is his response to her.

I think the language was very appropriate in this scene, because right after Neal says it, he has a moment of, “Ooops,” which shows that he’s not used to being around kids and has much to learn if he wants to be a dad. I’m not usually around kids, and I typically swear as part of my everyday language without giving it a second thought, so sometimes when I’m around my friends’ kids, one slips out, and I have a moment just like Neal did in that scene. Was a very real moment and a nice little touch of character development for Neal IMO.

There is just no way I can see Regina and Hook. Every villain needs an anchor to keep them rooted to the good side. Rumple has Belle. If Regina and Hook got together that would just be like Rumple and Cora making a long term go of it. Not a good thing. I can’t imagine either allowing the other to see a vulnerable side of them. Each would be constantly doubting the other’s trust. It would be a double-sided disaster.

    This!!

However, I could see Robin, knowing true love once before (assuming poor Marian is dead) and Regina with her history of Daniel being able to sympathize with the other. Both have lost the one person they’ve loved.

Also, I think in a way, Robin could actually remind Regina of Daniel. Not that she should be trying to replace Daniel, I’m just saying, I think she could see something in Robin that would remind her of the type of man she first loved. Daniel didn’t have or care for riches. Robin robbed from the rich to give to the poor, (traditionally that’s one of his major traits, so I’m assuming they’ll keep it in the show). Both of them good men, with humble desires in life in order to be happy. Daniel and Regina’s relationship could potentially mirror Robin and Marian’s if they stick with the idea that Marian was a noble, who ended up running away to live with Robin in the forest. That’s exactly what Daniel and Regina were planning to do.

So I think that Regina could potentially see things in Robin that will remind her of the time in her life when she was happiest, of the things she wanted back then that would have given her her happy ending. Then she’ll finally realise that what she’s been doing all the years since, abusing her power and trying to destroy others in order to gain her happy ending is never gonna actually bring her true happiness. Someone like Robin could force that serious reality check for her.

I can’t see any already existing character who would be able to ever change Regina for the better, and I may not be an EvilRegal, (actually, re-watching S1 lately, I’ve been reminded of how much I dislike her), but I hold out hope that eventually she will turn a corner and be able to be truly happy.

I dunno that the failsafe diamond would have been Regina’s idea. I imagine it more like someone got in her ear and suggested that because Rumple couldn’t be trusted, maybe a backup plan was in order. I could see that person being Tink, working for PP. Purpose of the failsafe diamond was to wipe out everyone else and isolate Henry. Isolating Henry is what PP wanted. So if all else failed, this was PP’s backup plan to get the kid, not really Regina’s at all, even though she thought it was hers, (just like she thought the Curse itself was for her to get her revenge, but really, it was for Rumple to find his son…but really, it was for PP to get Henry, (if the Curse never happened, Emma never would have met Neal, and Henry wouldn’t even exist)).

Wouldn’t surprise me if the failsafe diamond is seen again. Regina picked it up in the mines, so it’s probably still in her pocket.

That makes me think Blue and Tinkerbell might have been rivals for being fairy godmother but Blue got it and Tinkerbell being Tinkerbell, went into a fury and got banished to Neverland.

Keegan mentioned recently that she was gonna be in 303. Where does she live? I know she’s Canadian, but dunno if she lives in Vancouver. She hasn’t sent any tweets about traveling there for shooting, yet. But if she is gonna be in 303, there’s gotta be some history between Blue and Tink.

I like the idea that Tink was nothing special in FTL and wanted to go somewhere where she’d be head honcho fairy, so either she left FTL of her own accord, or did something bad to get kicked out.

Love that one! Neal’s face when Henry says, “Second star to the right and straight on till morning,” is perfect. He’s all, “Hook shows up and now my kid is talking about NL? DO NOT WANT!”

Agreed that it sounds like he’s talking to Emma.

I’d been thinking (hoping) that Hook attempted to rescue Bae, and PP gave him the option of leaving NL and going after Rumple, just to get rid of him.

I’ve lately begun to wonder though if perhaps Hook stole pixie dust from Tink and used that to escape. Wasn’t there stuff in her character description about how she never lets a slight go unpunished?
