ParticipantIf there is greater significance then awesome but it’s far more likely that it’s just a decoration that the set designers put in because it’s a show about fairy tales.
THIS!
This was the pilot episode, which would have been shown to ABC/Disney (all the one company) execs who were in charge of deciding if the show would even get picked up and turned into a series. Like I said in my previous post, Tink is one of the major icons of the Disney company. This was one of the very first shots we got of SB, the town where all the characters made famous largely by Disney were going to be living. The fairy ornament was quite simply the perfect prop for that particular scene: a Disney icon welcoming viewers (and TV execs) to the sleepy little town where all the fairytale characters live.
Now, if it had been shown since several times, then I might put more stock in it having deeper, more specific significance. But it hasn’t been.

ParticipantIt’s the same pickets as in the scene with Henry and Regina:

The character of Tink is generally considered to be one of the main mascots/icons of Disney, so it was fitting to have her represented in the first ep. And a white picket fence is a stereotypical thing in a friendly little town, so it made the perfect backdrop for the shot, when they were establishing the type of town SB is.

ParticipantThanks slurpeez and RG! 🙂 The middle bit drove me a bit nuts, but once the image was in my head, I was determined to make it work somehow.

ParticipantPinocchio/August is also a potential candidate.
He did say that a fairy told him all about Rumple and his dagger. At the time I was sure it was Blue, but she didn’t remember, so it can’t be, so Tink is another option. Unless he was just being snarky.
I’d expect to see both Hook and Bae encounter Tink at some point in NL, so that wouldn’t really be a “surprising” connection.
My fave theory so far is Snow and the bad fairy dust. Casual viewers have probably forgotten all about that fairy dust by now, so it’d “surprise” a lot of people if they brought it back in this way.

ParticipantCalling it now – we’ll get this casting announcement as well as Peter Pan at Comic-con.
Yep, I was pondering this possibility just last night. Would be fun if at the end of the OUAT panel they announce the actors for PP and Tink, (and maybe even Ariel?), maybe the actors would even be there, or maybe they’ve already done promo photo shoots and we can see them in character. Trying not to get my hope up too much though, coz then I’ll just be super bummed if it doesn’t happen.

Participant(the evil fairy who gave Snow the magic dust)
It’s about time they answered that question, so my vote is for Tink. Which would mean she can travel between worlds. So can all fairies travel between worlds (at least the ones with magic)?

ParticipantWonder what Mr Keck’s definition of “surprising connection” is? Because frankly, I won’t be one bit surprised if Tink is connected to Blue.
The real question I have is how exactly would they know each other? Is Blue from NL? Is Tink from FTL? Is there some in between realm that fairies actually originate in before they’re dispatched to various worlds? Are they all in constant contact, serving as some sort of force that links all the separate worlds together?
Also wonder what Mr Keck’s definition of “regulars” is? Regular as in a bit part who has appeared a bunch of times? (Which qualifies Blue.) Or regular as in main cast?

Participant*clapping as loudly as I can so they give us a casting announcement*

ParticipantDidn’t Archie’s new pilot get picked up by CBS?
Just did some googling and it looks like he’s gonna be in a show on TNT called Murder In The First . His imdb page also lists something called Lantern City, but it seems like there isn’t much info about that show out there yet, and it could even end up being a webseries.
Keegan tweeted Adam and Eddy today, thanking them for the opportunities she’s had as a result of being cast as BF, so I’m guessing she’s cool with her status within the show.

ParticipantThere are 19 mins worth of pilot in existence. Not a full ep, just enough to give an intro to the show. Had been hoping they might share some more at Comic-Con than what was in the promo. Please God let them put it online!
