ParticipantThere’s no way they would pair these two up. She was responsible for him losing his father and now he’s gathering evidence to expose her. And the only affection she had for him was in the respect that she wanted to be his mother. That’s hardly foreshadowing for a romantic relationship between them.

We do hear August’s voiceover ask if (someone) is planning to steal the magic of SB.
And we’re all assuming he’s talking to Tamara because she appears to be talking to him in the scene in the woods, but let’s not forget that Snow finds him too, so she may be taking her grandson’s idea and trying to find a way to get rid of magic herself. I still think Tamara is dodgy, but she’s not necessarily the one wanting to steal the magic.

Good point. Wasn’t there a tweet saying that Bae met Tamara in the real world? That may be true but that doesn’t mean Tamara wasn’t from a different world before she met Bae.
It’s been said they met in the real world, yes. It’s assumed by many that the scene where she bumps into him in the street and spills her drink on him will be the first time they meet. August’s bike is parked in the street during that scene. Then Tamara is sitting inside a window with a clear view of Nealfire talking to August before he drives off.

ParticipantThey could totally get me drinking Guinness if Mr O’Donoghue was in the ads for it, (tried a mouthful of it once when I toured the brewery in Dublin, and it was not to my taste).

If I recall somebody turned the CC on for that conversation and it was something about August’s relationship trouble with his dad and if that’s the case, the “Mother Superior” wouldn’t have been lying when she mentioned it to Rumple as well – which made him believe it was Bae and not Pinocchio.
I thought the closed captioning just said they were whispering and didn’t give any actual dialogue, but there’s one part you can make out where she’s telling him not to do anything drastic, or something like that.

I don’t know, someone on twitter asked Adam if we’d be seeing Mulan and Aurora again, and he replied “good question!” Normally when he says a response like that he is hinting at something in the works. Eddy and Adam also said at PaleyFest that the end of the Season would tie in much of what was established throughout the Season, and that could very well include Mulan and Aurora’s storyline. The way those characters were established feels like the story was setup to be concluded later this Season.
Yeah, didn’t they say something about how the first part of the season wouldn’t make sense, or would have been pointless, or something like that, (don’t remember the exact wording), if they weren’t planning to the end the season the way they are? I could see Henry and Rumple ending up back in present day FTL, and some of the others (Emma, Nealfire, Hook at the very least) ending up in Neverland, thinking that may be where they went, so that’s where they start their search. Meanwhile, in FTL, Aurora and Mulan run into Henry and Rumple, who is able to help them find Phillip’s soul, given that he knows about Wraiths, and that wraps up that storyline from the start of the season.

Well, August did say a “little fairy told him” about Rumple’s dagger. If Tamara is also Tinker Bell, then she could be the one who told August about Neal being Baelfire.
That would certainly solve the mystery of August’s line to Gold about the fairy telling him. (Though I still want it explained why August was having an animated discussion in hushed tones with Mother Superior if she didn’t have her memories…it’s gone from being one of my fave clues to one of my pet peeves.) Hasn’t the existence of a dark fairy (who gave Snow the dust) been mentioned once or twice in interviews lately?
I’m both highly anticipating and dreading this ep. Can’t wait to see August’s story, but am still blah about what Blue does to him.

ParticipantWe don’t know that Smee was in Neverland when the curse hit. It’s entirely possible that he was on the ship with Hook when he returned to FTL, and was outside Cora’s bubble when the curse happened, so he ended up being taken to SB.

ParticipantI’ve wondered for ages if perhaps The Dark One came into being when The Original Power tried to get rid of the darkness in her, so that there would only be good in the world. But her plan backfired and instead the darkness became its own separate being, and ever since, she has had to try and manage it, do battle with it, always searching for a way to be rid of it, which could be why she gave Bae the bean.

It’s not quite clear if this spinoff will literally be its own thing entirely not connected to Once. I hope it is at least the same Wonderland from Once.
It would feel a bit random if it was set in a completely different Wonderland to the one we’ve already seen. I’d like it to be the same, and I’d like it if one day we get an Alice on Once who is a younger version of the Alice in this new show. They could still keep the spin-off as its own entity, but have connections like that to Once.
