    That line was brilliant!

Watching the smooching was kinda rough, so I appreciate this description of it to lessen the tension a tad. 😆

She HAS to be using him. HAS TO. She can’t love him.

It can’t be love from her perspective, because kissing her has no affect on his curse. Honestly, I’d expected the relationship to have been one sided in the opposite direction. Maybe she was a safe option for him, if he just wanted to feel close to someone again, because he’d been lonely for a long time. There aren’t many people in FTL who would want to be in the same room as him, but she enjoyed his company, and let him get close, and because he knew she was no threat of twoo wuv that would break his curse, he let himself get close to her.

In other news, Eva was a b!tch, but I kinda like that they’ve done that, because it makes her doom all the more tragic. I’m guessing that whatever plays out with Cora is what forced Eva to change her ways. So Eva became good because of Cora, then Cora killed her for having been horrible.

Loved Nealfire’s little, “That’s me,” when Henry was all, “my dad.” Talk about an awkward first meeting with the extended family.

Also, a little comment that doesn’t really have anything to do with anything, but I kinda wish they’d blast them with big heaters when they’re filming outside, because all the steam coming off everyone’s breath kinda messes up the scene. I wanna be able to see everyone’s face properly when they’re conversing.

I agree that Greg has intentionally returned to SB, because he was there as a boy. Also, if I had to guess, HER is someone significant, and I don’t just mean Greg’s significant other. She could be someone mythical herself, from another land like Oz, and she sent Greg to learn more about the magic Greg recalled seeing from childhood. That way the theory about Greg being adult Owen, the boy who inspired Regina to adopt Henry, could still be reconciled with the idea of Greg being the wizard of Oz, who is from our world.

H and K said that in this episode we’d be seeing the first week of cursed SB, so I’m going to guess that the curse wasn’t working fully for the first week or so. Lots kinks, ect, which would help explain how an otherworldly character got out of SB when all along we’ve been told that bad things happen to those who tried to leave cursed SB.
As regards Oz: I’m in love with the idea that we could go to Oz soon (Wizard of Oz is one of my very favorite movie), but what if Greg isnt’ Oz YET? What if he’s from there, came to SB with the curse, left at a young age, is now back, and I’m going to guess he finds himself traveling to Neverland with our heroes by season end, and then somehow becomes Oz. What this rests on is figuring out how the Curse affected all the other lands. I think we assume/know that those who had dealings with Regina (Jefferson, Frankenstein) from other lands came through b/c they had dealings with her, but what we don’t know yet is how lands/people that had never been in contact with Regina were affected. Seeing Neveland at the end of 2 is going to help here a lot.
Ok, I just went off on several tangents. Sorry! 🙂

The glitch I see with Owen being youngGreg, that would prevent him from also being Wizard of Oz, is that the Wizard’s story already played out in Oz’s history, which is how we’ve known the story in our world for some time. So he can’t have been a kid in ’83 when SB was created, because the Wizard was already an adult. So the only way he could be the Wizard, and also be a kid in ’83 is if Oz was in the future and he got dragged back and de-aged or something, which I wouldn’t really want them to do. Of course, we have had mention of “turning the clock back” recently, with Rumple and Nealfire, and also with August in the ep after this one, but that’s a specific spell that’s put on someone, not a case of traveling back through time being the thing that changes someone’s age.

The Wizard theory for Greg fits for me because I believe he’s someone with knowledge of magical worlds, which is why he sought out SB. In the traditional story, The Wizard leaves Oz, intending to return to our world with Dorothy, (until she misses the balloon ride and uses the slippers instead), so I’d find it totally believable if the Wizard and Dorothy (Her) knew each other in our world in present day, and were fascinated with tracking down a town full of storybook characters. For all the obscure clues there may have been about Oz, the thing that made me really believe in the theory was that they could slot The Wizard into the present day, real world story, in that believable way.

Of course, if Owen does end up being young Greg, I’ve got no doubt they’ve got a really cool story in mind for that. But I’m gonna cling to the Wizard theory for a little bit longer. My Blue theories came crashing down yesterday, and I can’t bear losing another theory as well just yet. *throws self on floor dramatically* 😆

PS. RumplesGirl, going off on tangents is to be expected when discussing a show like this. I’m guilty of plenty of “stream of consciousness” posts. 😆

I’m glad they can accept that people are gonna be spoilerwhores, even if it may not be their fave thing. 😆 It’s just such a relief to know that the recasting of Jefferson isn’t happening, not now, not ever.

Well, back when the sneak peak first came out, Phee did a search for those words: She wrote about in this thread– https://oncepodcast.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=85&t=3033
Given how nerdy the creators and writers are, they might be using Star Trek/D and D.

Yeah, I didn’t have access to the captions for dialogue, so just took a stab at the spelling for them and when I turned up some geeky connections, I figured perhaps that was it.

I noticed that someone tweeted it to MRJ after the sneak peek came out, asking it what it meant, and he RT it saying “no idea”, or something like that. 😆

We don’t have any airdates for April yet, but my guess is new episodes will return on either April 21st or 28th. That would mean either a 4 week break or a 5 week break, and I don’t like the sound of either one.

*sits in the corner and pouts* Could we add “hiatus” to the list of obscenities that gets bleeped on the forum, because really, it’s the most offensive word of all! 🙁

I am pretty sure this is going to be a young Greg. And if this kid is the reason Regina wanted Henry, wouldn’t that ultimately make Greg the one responsible for him finding bae and thus his undoing? They said the placement of this episode was for a major reason and this could be why since we know rumple has vowed to kill the boy. If he reasons this out he could spare his grandson and not cause more friction with his son (which I believe killing anyone would do but espcially Henry).

Interesting idea, and yes, in a convoluted way, it would make this kid involved, if he’s the one who made Regina want a child, which ended up being Henry. I don’t really want this kid to be young Greg, because it messes up my Wizard of Oz theory, but I confess, you might be onto something here.

Why would August know about the dagger he told Gold that a little fairy told him. ❓

It does not compute. What other fairy did August know, who he could have spoken to after leaving FTL, (because he certainly knew nothing about the dagger when he was a kid in FTL)? Blue was the perfect candidate.

Unless, Tamara IS Tink, another fairy, and they met up in NYC, when August was on his way to SB, which is potentially possible, given that they'll both be interacting with Nealfire on the street in NYC, so they were obviously both there at the same time. If she knew Nealfire from Neverland, she may have known about the dagger. But that still wouldn't explain why she'd tell August, because it's not like she had any proof of who he was, or had even known who Pinocchio was, if they'd lived in different worlds. So why would she tell some random biker dude about Nealfire's dad's magical dagger? *headdesk*

    @Jbwood5 wrote:

Well it could always have been tinkerbell, depending on if bae is Peter or not. Maybe she was assigned by Blue to watch after bae and when August was about to come to our world he was told by Blue to seek this fairy as she will help him and that’s how he found out who Neal was.

When we started getting spoiler info about Tamara, one of the theories I liked was that she was gonna be Tink to Nealfire’s Peter Pan. Part of my pet theory was that Blue had sent her to look out for Bae, though I’d been thinking it was in a capacity like…Blue wanted to keep tabs on him out in the real world, but she couldn’t leave SB herself, so she sent Tinkmara to essentially spy on him and report back to her, because her previous spy had buggered off to Phuket and she hadn’t heard from him in years. That doesn’t work if she didn’t have her memories though.

I guess perhaps Blue could have told Pinocchio stuff before he went in the wardrobe…but then, Blue was intending for Snow to go through with Emma, so why would she need to give special instructions to Pinocchio?

Pay close attention to what Neal’s going with his hand after Emma learns that he’s like 300 years old. Too cute. They have to be endgame…

Is it totally lame that this totally made me weak in the knees, (while I’m sitting down, no less)? It’s like in that one touch he’s saying, “I know babe, it’s nuts, I know, but we’ll figure it out, I’ve got your back, no matter what.” <3

Just because Adam confirmed that Blue didn’t have her memories during the curse years, doesn’t mean she didn’t get them back before everyone else.

Yes, I considered that today when I was trying to make some sense of this new revelation. Maybe she had a built in trigger to bring it back, like Mr Gold did.

The problem is, I’ve had her pegged as the one who orchestrated things while the curse was in effect, that she simply couldn’t have done without her memories. How could she have arranged Henry’s adoption, how could she have been the one to give August info, how could she have written the book? I’ve got a whole mess of theories crashing down around me right now. WAAAHHHHH!

I know the saying goes don’t cry that it’s over, smile that it happened…but I can’t help it- I’m feeling so sad that it’s over, especially since I wasn’t able to meet them. I want to be in their company again. What an awesome group of people! I’d give anything just to be able to hang out on the set with them for the day.

That whole “smile because it happened” thing can be so much easier said than done. I’ve been to North America twice in recent years on fangirly business, and also did a similar trip around my own country, going to multiple concerts of my beloved NKOTB, and every time it’s over, it SUCKS. In the fandom, we actually label it “post concert depression” because the comedown from the fangirly high is such a bummer. *sigh*

But ya know what, even though you didn’t get to meet them, (this time ;)), you still got to be a part of something really special that only a small chunk of the fandom has been lucky enough to experience, and once the “post Paley depression” passes, you’ll be able to look back and do the whole “happy it happened” thing properly. 🙂 It’s a bit silly how excited we can get to just be in the same room as celebs we admire. I think that part of wanting to be in their presence is so they can see how much joy they bring to your life through their work, so that’s why we crave the personal connection, even if it’s just a fleeting moment, we just want them to know, directly from us, how much we love what they do, as our way of saying, “thank you for being awesome”. I hope one day you get to meet some of them face to face.

I wonder if any of them will be at the D23 Expo this year- the big Disney fan convention. I have tickets and plan to wear my blue Belle dress that my mom made for me back in college.

That sounds like the perfect place for them to send some of the cast!
