Yes, I’m really expecting a big mummy-issues storyline when we get his backstory. She had to have died, or left, or something. If they go with his father having been Davy Jones and they borrow from the PotC storyline, where Davy locked his heart up after losing his love, something like that could have messed up young Killian’s own perspective on love and women. And just to add to the potential mummy mess in Hook’s life, part of the Ariel-in-Neverland theory is the fact that in the Disney prequel movie, her mother was killed when a pirate ship crushed her.

It’s really cool to have a villain who can’t go to magic to make an impact and really has to make up for it in other ways. One of the reasons I’m hoping Nealfire was in Neverland is because it could provide us with a great ongoing storyline where Hook would be a central character, instead of just being tossed around on the sidelines. I’d love to see NealfirePan and Hook having a complex relationship in Neverland, but not hating each other, I’d like it if Hook had played sort of a father figure role to him. That would make the present day situation of Hook vs Rumple and Nealfire stuck in the middle ripe for confusion and angst from all three of them, and would give Colin some juicy material to sink his acting chops into.
I’d also love it if they made Ariel a Neverland resident, (as some have speculated, considering there’s a Mermaid Lagoon there), and tied Hook into her story somehow. I’m already totally shipping those two in my head, even though we have no indication that they ever met. 😆 Anyway, regardless of who it ends up being with, I want the guy to find love again with someone, which would also give him a meatier storyline than what he has now.

THIS! It’s so ridiculous that people actually believed that they might make her a prostitute that I have to just shake my head and laugh. I mean, I know they’ve had Hook making suggestive comments and Jack in lingere, but turning Belle from Beauty and the Beast into a prostitute?! Come. On! Did people seriously think that was an option to the point where they felt the need to tweet Adam about it?! Seriously? It’s Disney in prime time on a Sunday for crying out loud! 😆 SMH
For me, it’s more about his expression in a couple of the pics, like the first one. Obviously not all the pics were taken while they were actually shooting, but that one seems to be, and he’s looking somewhat distressed, like he’s not looking at the woman he knows and loves.
Maybe she eventually agrees to go out with him, even if she doesn’t have her memories back yet. Maybe after the scene in The Miller’s Daughter she’s at least open to the idea of getting to know him, even if she doesn’t understand their connection properly yet. So maybe she eventually agrees to go out with him and give him half a chance, and they’re meeting at The Rabbit Hole, and when he shows up, she’s not what he was expecting. I just can’t get past that look he seems to be giving her. Things aren’t rosy with Rumbelle if he’s looking at her like that.
There’s absolutely no way they’d turn Belle into a prostitute, I mean, c’mon, this is Disney. She was just out partying at The Rabbit Hole, that’s all.
Her alternate SB persona was locked in a mental ward cell for 28 years. She doesn’t remember her Belle persona. She’s got no idea who she is, or who she’s supposed to be, she’s gotta start from scratch and totally redefine herself. And she’s been through hell lately. Taking all of that into consideration, it makes sense to me that she’s getting all done up and going out to party at the bar, because real life is a tad overwhelming right now.
It’s a bummer that the pics weren’t of Rumbelle out on the town on a date. The tweet said the scene was “intense”. Looks like Rumple will happen by all, “Belle, what the eff are you wearing? This isn’t you!” and she’ll be all, “Don’t tell me who I am, you creepy old man!” And we’ll all scream, “Belle, why can’t you remember that you love him already, OMG FEELS!!”
If something is posted in a spoiler section for one ep, but it relates to a spoiler in a future ep, then that should probably still be blacked out, just because once an ep airs, the forums are merged, and it’ll become accessible on the non-spoiler part of the forum, even if the future ep still hasn’t aired.

Or they are re-filming stuff. And why would Colin be at Paleyfest if they are killing him off? I also don’t think anyone connected with the show would refer to Hook as a “minor” character…He’s a series regular!
This! Hook ain’t going anywhere, they haven’t even shown us his time in Neverland yet, and I daresay we won’t get any of that till next season, so they’ve still got plenty of use for him.
