A friend whose into astrology did my birth chart once, it’s actually quite technical all the calculations that go into it. First time she did it she thought it looked wrong and didn’t fit, then she realised she’d missed a calculation that threw everything off because a bunch of planets had actually been in retrograde at the moment of my birth, so she re-did the whole thing. As she was looking stuff up and writing it down, she shook her head and laughed that she’d never known anyone to be SUCH a Pisces. 😀 My Piscean sensibility of obsessive compulsive daydreaming and believing in the good in people is what keeps romance alive for me, despite my personal cynicism towards it. The dream of twoo wuv that I can imagine is too lovely and wonderful, so I’ve gotta believe that that magic exists in the world. I’m the hopeless epitome of the fish swimming in opposite directions, different opinions from heart and head locked in a constant battle, making me all kinds of neurotic about pretty much everything. 😆

It's possible, but given how badly they really wanted to get the rights for “Peter Pan”, and how very early on in the first season, K&H talked about how the identity of Henry's father probably wouldn't be revealed for several seasons, I think that they always wanted to make Nealfire into Peter Pan but weren't sure if and when they could get the rights.
I think they may have had a contingency plan in place in case they couldn't have got the rights. However, since they did get the rights after the first season during the writing of the second season, I believe that they may have moved up the date of the big Nealfire reveal.
Yeah, I'm thinking that if they make Nealfire into NealfirePan that it's something they always had planned. They've said multiple times that Pan is their all time fave character, which is one of the reasons why I've felt that it'd make sense for them to make him their central boy character from a magical world, that character being Bae. I guess if they wanted to tweak it due to people having guessed it already, they could make him a Lost Boy instead, without it altering their overall story much, but if he does end up being Pan, I'm guessing it was part of their original story plan.
I’m guessing that when they entertained the idea of switching up the story to not make Nealfire, it was a very brief conversation and they wrote off the idea almost immediately. If anything, it gives me more faith in them, that they’re gonna stick to telling their story their way. Obviously any storyteller must keep an open mind to be able to go with the flow if a certain part of a story doesn’t work like they’d hoped and they need to course correct, but I believe these guys won’t compromise their overall vision of their story.

I think so, I read somewhere that we’ll probably have another 3 week break sometime March-April so we hit May Sweeps.

Was smart of them to advertise the show with a promo like that during the Oscars. If I was a movie buff who didn’t watch Once, I may be inspired to check it out. And the next ep will be about young Snow White and her mother, and also have the Evil Queen vs Snow in SB, so any new viewers will see a familiar story to connect to and may get sucked in.

Ooooh! AND if she is Tinkerbell, in the Disney version of Peter Pan Tink does betray Peter to Hook because of how hurt she is over his growing friendship with Wendy! Maybe Tamara will do the same and then Neal will leave her.
While I don’t think that Emma will be Wendy specifically, I do like this idea of them using that particular theme. If there was a Wendy in Onceiverse history, then there’d be a precedent for Tink acting up like this.

I’m thinking that the Neal/Tamara relationship is a relatively new thing. If, as I’m assuming, the scene of her bumping into him is when they met, and that was around the time when August was on his way to SB, then they’ve been together, what, 6 months-ish? Certainly less than a year. That’s one of the reasons it’d fit for me if she’s Tink and Neal is Pan, because that fairy was sorta hyper, overbearing, feisty, and crushing on Pan, so I could see her rushing him into giving her a ring if she found herself in the position of being human and the same age as him.

I’m guessing they considered changing the Nealfire thing for all of 5 seconds before dropping the idea. I’m confident that they have a gameplan laid out for how they want the story to go, and by and large, they’ll stick to it, but as with any story writers, they need to remain flexible enough to course correct if one of their original ideas plays out like a disaster once they bring it to life. I doubt they’d compromise their overall vision for their story though, which is why they kept Nealfire.

If Cora and Henry had lost their kingdom, she wanted to get another one to replace it, because she’s powerhungry like that. She couldn’t marry into another royal family herself, so she set it up for Regina instead. If it does turn out that George is Regina’s biodad, then Cora would have felt that her daughter was entitled to be royalty and so went to great lengths to make it happen.
Cora looks so smug in that pic. She’s all, “I totes played The Dark One at his own game and got the kingdom AND the baby. I effing rock.” 😛

We haven’t seen Henry’s castle yet, have we? The place where Regina lived was one of Leopold’s castles. I’m wanting to say that it was the Summer Palace that had been built for Snow’s mother, but can’t recall which ep it was mentioned in to go look it up. I’ve suspected that perhaps Rumple’s castle had belonged to Henry’s family, and they lost it to him in some deal that saw them losing their royal status, (which they didn’t have any more by the events of Stable Boy).

Yeah, Rumple’s mention of what he wanted to do to Bae was them establishing that it’s possible, so it won’t seem so completely random when it happens to August in this ep.

We don’t know that for sure, it’s just speculation based on the fact that New Jersey was the location mentioned on Neal’s wanted poster, and there’s a town called Lacey in NJ.

Seriously though, Hook will have to get back to SB somehow, and if they commandeer his ship, I could see them locking him in the brig so he’s unable to finish Rumple off. I’d love it if Nealfire exhibits prior knowledge of that ship.
