ParticipantI like Cora’s expression when Hook talks about holding the dagger in his hand. You can totally tell that she’s thinking, “Keep dreamin’ buddy, ain’t gonna happen.”

ParticipantSo Neal isn’t even aware that his father is there yet, he just heard Emma’s voice and that made him run. Oh, my heart!
If you’re gonna make a treasure map, even if it’s not an obvious one, why keep it in such a public place?

many would think that Geppetto doesn’t deserve to get those years back with Pinocchio either. Geppetto caught a fair bit of hate for the business with putting Pinocchio through the tree, so I can see all of those fans being very annoyed if he gets to go back to the start and have the life he always wanted with his son.
Despite the Charmings’ pain over having missed out on Emma’s childhood, they’re not the types to hold it against Geppetto and would still want him to have his happiness with Pinocchio.
The Charmings might not hold a grudge against Geppetto, but I daresay a lot of fans do, judging by comments I read after that ep aired. Poor guy copped a decent amount of hate. So I can see all of those fans being none too pleased if Geppetto gets his 2nd chance with his son. So the people who love August will hate that he’s not around any more, and the people who don’t love Geppetto will hate the plot point too. That’s a whole lotta fanbase they could potentially get offside if they make Pinocchio a kid again. I’ll reserve final judgement until I see what actually happens and how it’s done, but as of right now, I’m somehwat apprehensive.

To add to this: in the movie Sleeping Beauty believed herself to be an orphan. If the fairies are raising orphans, like Rumple, it could give more credence to the fact that it was the BF who got Henry Jr to SB and to Gold who then got him to Regina. Once again, she’s just doing what she had been doing in FTL.
Love that!

My apologies for the forums not loading. Having a few teething problems with the migration from the old server to the new.
No worries, these things happen. We were all just frantic for info, so were being a bit impatient. 😉

I really hope this is Gepetto recalling his boy as Pin. lays dying. (which I know is a terrible thing to say, but honestly the best shot for redemption with August may be sacrificing his life for Emma, given that he failed to protect her for so long)
I could totally deal with it if August is lying there dying, and as he fades away, he reverts to being his FTL self. It’d break my heart to see him die, because I’ve always loved me some August, but I’d rather the character be dead and gone, instead of running around SB as a kid. Dunno that they’d show youngPinocchio lying there dead though.
ETA that actually, that sorta gives me a bit of hope. Perhaps he reverts to his FTL self as he’s dying, which is when Blue steps in to save him and makes him an adult again in the process. OK, so I’m clutching at straws, but I’m gettin’ desperate here. 😆

ParticipantWe dunno yet if they haul Neal back to SB by the time this ep ends. That spoiler about Charming’s joke about Thanksgiving suggests that at the very least we’ll see a phone call from Emma, but it also got me wondering if they could arrive back in SB by the end of the ep. I wouldn’t imagine that they could convince Neal to come with them that quickly, but then, I also wouldn’t expect, “Oh BTW, you’ve gotta share grandparent duties with Rumplestiltskin from now on,” to be something Emma would tell them over the phone. That’s kind of a “tell it to their face” situation in my book.

That’d be ironically delicious, considering how much Mr. Gold loathes the BF now!
Exactly! Imagine if she’d helped to raise him, and then they ended up as mortal enemies. Would add a whole other level to their animosity.

😆 😆 Dunno if anyone else here ever watched the show Arrested Development, but one of the characters, Tobias, was a “never nude”, an affliction where one can never be completely naked, not even in the shower. He wore denim cutoff shorts at all times, under whatever clothes he was wearing, and yes, even in the shower. There was a scene where Tobias was wearing his cutoffs, crying dramatically in the shower, and now I’ve totally got the mental image of Rumple crying in the shower, still wearing his shawl.
Oh, how I miss that show so much! I’m going to have to get Netflix again just to watch new episodes; although, I fear they won’t live up to the first 3 seasons because so much time has passed, and Running Wilde made me wonder if the new “Arrested Development” will actually live up to my expectations because Running Wilde certainly did not. (Plus, this is probably sacrilegious, but there were a few misfires on AD like Uncle Jack and Maeby’s Hollywood story line, imo, but even those episodes were better than most everything else on at the time.)
Now I’m going to have visions of Rumple dressing up as one of the Blue Men Group to runaway from the trio of evil, and then him dressing up as Mrs. Featherbottom to try to fool Nealfire into liking him again.
OMG Rumple Featherbottom! 😆 😆 I never saw any of Running Wilde, I’m afraid it’s not really fair to him, but Will Arnett will forever be typecast as GOB in my head. He was such a magnificent bastard! My brother has his chicken dance as a ringtone on his phone. 😉 AD was ahead of its time and under appreciated. I’m confident that they will have made the new eps great. They’ve had long enough to work on them, so there’s no excuse for them sucking. Really hoping there’ll be downloadable versions of the new eps so I can see them, (no Netflix access here, but God help me if I can’t get a fresh dose of my Buster).

😯 Wow! While I don’t want this spoiler to be true, it wouldn’t be a surprise to me if Pinocchio becomes a little boy again. Also, I think this has been Rumple’s plan for Baelfire all along. In episode 1×8, Desperate Souls, Rumple said to Emma regarding Henry that children grow up so fast. He said it with such regret that it sounded like he wished he could turn back the hands of time to when Baelfire was still a boy.
Which is part of why I think it’d suck if August is made young again, because I don’t think that that should even be an option that exists for Rumple. I suppose it could still be a delightfully agonising storyline if it is an option, but he’s not able to do it. But I think it’s the perfect punishment for him as things already are, where he’s missed seeing his son grow up and can’t get those years back.

Based on your description, none of this is computing. So he’s dressed as he was when he came through the wardrobe.
Right down to his little hat and all. If I was de-ageing a character, I’d have the child version dressed the same, because they’re the same person, in the same place, essentially just shrunk. But having him in FTL costume, it’s like there’s a time travelly something or other, where the young version has been plucked out of the past and transplanted into a new time and place. I am most confuzzled. 😕

Is it possible young Pinocchio is just a vision Geppetto is having? Maybe because this is the first time he’s seen his kid in 28 years?
I’d be over the moon if it’s just a Geppetto hallucination.
