Bah! I do mean 16 (Miller’s Daughter). I’m starting to get my numbers mixed up and am trying not to spoil things for people who haven’t looked at those spoilers.

Don’t worry, I know, it’s getting hard to keep track. 😆 I was trying to think through my little theory and the ep numbers didn’t add up, so I had to go check them.

Phee: I like your reasoning behind the gap in between Miller’s Daughter and Lacey to explain how it could be Belle. So does Cora wound Rumple with the dagger (and is that enough to take his power?) or is he injured in another way?

I’m going with injured with the dagger, but it’s not enough to kill him, just enough to land him in hospital in a critical condition.

Why would Belle change her name to Lacey? Wouldn’t that just make everything confusing? Everybody calls her Belle already! Even if she doesn’t remember, she would still probably at least keep her name the same! :geek:

Everyone else got a SB name, so it stands to reason that Belle did too, and for 28 years, she thought her name was Lacey, (if this theory about the ep being about her ends up being true). Without her memories of being Belle, she’s back to thinking she’s Lacey again.

Quick internet search shows that Lacey is French in origin and can be used to reference lace. So the Belle theory, something so delicate held together by tiny threads that can snap (like her mind), might hold up. Might indicate that it takes until this episode for Belle to remember who she is and who Rumple is.

But, I think with the way episode 17 sounds/looks, (Cora getting Rumple's dagger to use on him has some very Beauty and the Beast-esque potential it’s more likely Belle will remember before this episode and this is about Greg’s girl.

You mean ep16, (Miller’s Daughter)? Would they have Rumple stabbed in ep16 and not get around to Belle saving him until ep19? Ep17 likely won’t have any present day SB stuff, (I’d think it’d be tricky for them to differentiate between SB flashbacks and SB present day, so they may avoid mixing them up?), ep18 they could try to save him by other means, and then it’ll only be in ep19 that Belle ends up remembering and saving him. Perhaps? The name Lacey does seem to fit her rather perfectly. And if he ends up in the hospital where she is, and if she’s still got the chips of Chip to ponder, maybe it’ll all come together and she’ll kiss him awake?

I wonder if August has been hiding out with the Blue Fairy this whole time. We saw his eyes blink so either 1) he turned “real” again has either left SB or is hiding for some unknown reason or 2) he’s still a wooden man and someone (The Blue Fairy) took him and is hiding him, maybe waiting until she has Fairy Dust to turn him back.

A friend of mine suggested that he was hiding out at the convent. I like the idea of him going back to Phuket but can’t see how a wooden man would travel without being noticed. Hat, trench coat, sun glasses and gloves. That would be funny. 😆

He wouldn’t exactly match his passport photo. 😆 I like the idea of him having hid out at the convent. He went to Blue for help before confronting Mr Gold, so it stands to reason that he’d go to her again now. I’m thinking if we see this Healer in Phuket, it’ll be a flashback.

That’s quite possible…I have wondered if Cora wasn’t once in love with George and he loved her (but she wasn’t his true love) and when he met his wife to be(his true love)…he dumped Cora….and that Cora out of jealousy and revenge was the one that cursed George’s wife so she could not have children. This could have happened before or after she met Henry Sr. If it was an affair after she married Henry(like you suggested) then she could have had the satisfaction of having Regina as George’s biological offspring knowing that George’s true love could never have children of her own…just seems like a Cora thing to do.

OMG that would be SO Cora! 😈 That could relate back to Rumple asking Regina why she wanted to learn magic, if her mother had had a specific reason for wanting to learn as well, (to make a potion to make George’s wife barren). Regina wanted magic to get back her love. Cora wanted magic to get back at her love.

Make sure you’re using the URL for the actual image, not just the page it’s on. Right click over the image and either view it in a new tab, then copy the URL from the bar at the top, or when you right click, if there’s an option like “copy image location” you can select that, then paste it into the post. Whatever you paste between the tags has to end in .jpg (or whatever the type of image it is) for it to be a direct link to the image.

YAY August! 😀 Honestly, I can live with it if he dies, as long as there’s a purpose for it. He’s been one of my fave characters, so I’m just excited that it looks like they’re gonna show more of his story, even if wrapping it up sees him killed off. We NEED some elaboration on and a conclusion to his role in all of this!

Anyhow, while I’m not sure about the time line for him to be able to bring Henry to Storybrooke because it seems like he was in Phuket from the time he took the money from Neal until he started turning back to wood on Emma’s 28th birthday, but I always thought that there was something to Regina saying he looked familiar to her. So for characters that are on canvas right now, I would say that August probably had some part in bringing Henry to Storybrooke while Greg has something to do with Henry’s book.

Yeah, that’s one thing that’s kept me from getting on board with the theory that August brought Henry to SB, because I can’t see him having gone back to the US after escaping to Phuket, and then going back to Phuket again. But as you say, there’s still that line from Regina. And now it seems that the ep directly before this one will potentially show Regina adopting Henry, so I’m starting to wonder about the possibility again.

So this Asian Healer may just be someone who August knew in Phuket, as opposed to someone Mulan knows in FTL? Or perhaps we’ll get both?

I guess I am not seeing how his not divulging his life is exploiting you. I personally had thought his recognizing the artwork, saying hi to fans (when they ask for a retweet), and I think he did say thank you for the birthday wishes was interaction and recognition in itself.

This! From what I’ve seen of his tweets, he seems lovely and genuinely appreciative of his fans. It’s sweet of him to RT the pics people send him, to acknowledge that he’s seen it. A tweet like that can make a fan’s day. In the last day, he’s wished 6 people Happy Birthday, (which he doesn’t have to do at all) and also said “Good evening twitter! Hope everyone is well. Thanks for the tweets. #Hookers You guys are the best.” I dunno how anyone can say that he never gives anything back to the fans. Unless it’s just someone being bitter because they personally haven’t ever been acknowledged?

It’s just for me as long as we’re all respectful that’s what matters.

Absolutely. And part of that is recognising that just because someone’s job puts them in the public eye, that doesn’t mean we own them and it doesn’t mean they owe us complete access to their every thought and action.

But did King George’s wife actually die? As far as I know it was something to do with her being cursed to be infertile and either getting mad or isolated… Or am I remembering it wrong?

She was cursed and could not have children…yes..that’s why they got PC’s twin from Ruth through a deal with Rumple…but she at some point she died…we have yet to see her in the show but she was definitely not around when we first meet the real James and he is killed. Like I said it’s just a theory I’ve heard floating around…lot of people think the kid looks a lot like a young Josh Dallas.

I have a different theory. I don’t think King George’s wife died. I think he was married to CORA at one point. After their marriage, she purposefully drank the potion so she’d be barren and so escape giving Rumple her first-born child. When the king learned this, he divorced her quietly, and she later married Henry Sr.

I’ve entertained the idea that Cora was George’s lost wife, but that was back when I wasn’t convinced that Henry had been royalty. The new info we have about The Miller’s Daughter has made me re-evaluate though.

We now know that they were casting for a young Prince Henry, and for his father the King, who has problems with his gold supply, but Henry’s marriage will fix it. So it’s safe to assume that that’s gonna be the traditional Rumple story where he helps a girl spin straw into gold and she marries royalty. I can’t see that story playing out if Cora’s been previously married to some other king. She’d be damaged goods and not a reliable candidate to help save the kingdom, if she’s previously had a failed marriage to another royal family.

However, what I can see happening is that Cora’s in a loveless marriage to Henry, George is having issues with his wife being cursed, and the two of them have a torrid affair that results in baby Regina.
