I thought of Jack Sprat when I saw that guy and his wife at the door in Dreamy, lol.
Same here. Skinny guy eating a carrot + overweight wife = “Jack Sprat could eat no fat, his wife could eat no lean.” If he was meant to be the White Rabbit, he’d have had something obvious like a pocket watch instead of an overweight wife, (or any wife for that matter).

ParticipantYeah, there’s a ripple effect of some description over her body, but not her head. If they had her trapped like that though, why let her go? That’s not what she’s wearing when she wrangles with Snow, and then when she’s in front of the firing squad.
We’ve seen her dressed all EQ on horseback, overlooking a camp site or township or something, saying, “I will NOT let them defeat me.” We’ve seen her in the same costume all, “My terms are quite simple…your death,” which we can probably assume she’s saying to Snow. In this new promo, the bit of white fluff in the corner is probably the collar on Snow’s cloak, which she’s seen wearing in the shot of her running through the woods. But firstly, how would Snow trap her like that, and secondly, if they have a convo where EQ is all, “You’re SO dead,” why would Snow then release her, then sneak in on her later in that scene where Regina’s not dressed all EQ, (Snow appears to be dressed the same as when she’s in the woods)? Can’t wrap my head around how it all fits together. *stomps foot impatiently like a petulant 5 year old* 😛

ParticipantIt’s stupid how fascinating I can find a split second of new footage. 😆 What’s going on with Regina there, hmmm?

ParticipantOh the two posters are definitely the same pic, I’m not questioning that. I’m only questioning whether or not the kid in the pic is Dylan, or just some random pic of a random kid that they got from a stash of stock images they had available to them to make a poster out of.

Maybe we just won’t see Peter Pan’s story this season, or we won’t know who he is this season. It all depends what “see” means when the writers say that “we won’t see Peter Pan this season.” 😉
Indeed. Neal/Bae could still be Peter, even if it’s not confirmed this season, and K&H technically won’t have lied if it’s just that we don’t see Peter in Neverland. 😉

As sad as this would be, this WOULD explain a lot. Like, if Neal is either Bae or Peter, why would he need August to convince him that magic is real with whatever was in the box? If he’s Peter, I think Tinker Bell was in the box. Maybe he didn’t need to believe per say, but perhaps he needed some… “convincing” to leave Emma. Just like in the story, when Peter leaves Wendy behind to grow up and he stays a kid with Tinker Bell, Neal left Emma behind to “grow up.”‘
I don’t think he needed convincing that magic was real, or of who he was, it’s just that August had to show him something to verify his own (August’s) identity as someone who knew about magic and was personally connected to it, so that Neal would take him seriously and trust him.

ParticipantAh cool, good to have that clarified. Glad we’ll get to see Phillip again in this ep.
I notice that the dwarves are all in this ep too. Maybe it’s another one of them who Rumple tries to shove over the line. He’d probably consider them expendable, and they’ve willingly stepped up to test it before, so perhaps this time he’ll unwillingly force them to do it again.

ParticipantThanks for the link! Too bad he wasn’t shooting anything that day, I wanna see who he’s got scenes with so I can do some crackpot speculation, dammit. 😆

ParticipantI’d think that The Princess Bride is too modern a story to work on this show. The book the movie is based on was released in 1973. Oz and Neverland are from stories originating at the start of the 1900s, but I wouldn’t think that something as late as ’73 would qualify. I guess technically it could, because ’73 was still before the curse brought them to our world, so that story could have happened in FTL past, but I think that it’s too modern a convention to fit. You think of The Princess Bride, and you flashback to the 80s, not the 1800s. I think the couple of nods they’ve given it with the lines already mentioned in this thread was K&H’s way of including it, because they don’t intend to actually use the whole story.

ParticipantI’m not sold on it being a pic of Dylan. There are no doubt similarities, but they still look like different people to me. The shadows on the face, for one, don’t match up with the shots we have of Dylan. And the nose doesn’t look like an exact match to me either. And the kid in the poster has a much more defined and dark eyebrow to what we see in those shots of Dylan.
