Well, I’ve been waiting to get confirmation on Neal being Bae for quite some time. So, I’m pretty happy right now. π
You and 90% of the fandom. π I’ve kept an open mind, knowing that Bae would likely end up being Henry’s father, but part of me not wanting him to be, just because so many people had guessed it already. But I never hated the idea, because there’s all sorts of good stuff they can do with it if they’re all one, big, angsty family.
I’m looking forward to them all having the realisation that they’re connected. Was just typing out a whole ramble about whether or not Rumple had figured out info on Bae before they left, given that they went right to Neal’s building, but then I realised that if that thing around Rumple’s neck really is Bae’s cloak, he just had to dump the potion on it to lead them right to him. There was that pic of Neal on the fire escape with the hood up, and you couldn’t see his face. So I’m thinking that the potion and the cloak lead them to the building, Neal sees them and runs, still with his hood up, Emma chases him, and it’s not until she tackles him in the alleyway and the hood falls down that, “ZOMGHOLYCRAPIT’SYOU?!” That’d be fun.

Just a little rambling here, but what if SB counted on outsiders, who brought supplies and other goods into town, losing their memories once they left town? That would have protected the town.
Yeah, I dunno whether or not that will ever actually be clarified on the show, but that’s how it works in my headcanon.
Possibly Ethan Embry was one of the individuals that procured things outside for SB. Gold lures him in to see if he if maintains his memories once crossing the line.
Most likely it’s Smee as I believe Ethan will be a storybook character (Merlin/Wizard of Oz/Peter Pan/etc.). I just wanted to throw the idea out there though.
I think Ethan will be someone more significant than a random real worlder lured back into town. Didn’t they say that he’ll be recurring with the possibility of sticking around next season, or am I making that up? If so, he’s gotta be someone significant.

here is my theory on that, there is a massive patch of black ice/permafrost near that storybrook sign that causes everyone that is not aware of it to have a car accident. :ugeek:
π Well that’s nowhere near as fun as a mysterious curse messing with people. π

ParticipantFrom memory, the only pics of Smee are of him on a rooftop with Hook, and he’s holding what’s speculated to be Bae’s cloak. There were some comments in another thread that said that Rumple’s “scarf” in NYC looks like it could actually be Bae’s cloak. Who knows how it all fits together, but yes, we’ve seen Smee out and about in SB.

Participant“It’s not like Emma gets a break,” Jennifer Morrison said with a laugh while talking to reporters on the show’s Vancouver set.
“We have a party at Granny’s, and then there’s all sorts of new problems.”
Well I’d figured that party in the pics would come at the end of the ep, but perhaps not? Do they stop off for a shower and a change of clothes on the way to Granny’s, and someone calls to invite Regina after all? If so, then that still allows for Archie to be killed later in the ep.
But a new character (played by Ethan Embry) is heading to Storybrooke in the next few episodes, described as an outsider from Pennsylvania.
Is that the first time we’ve seen PA being mentioned in relation to Ethan’s character? I’d been speculating that he knows Neal, so had sorta assumed that if they specified where he came from, it woulda been NY.

ParticipantCan’t wait for this ep that the new spoilers are from! Should be awesomely angsty!

That’s been going on on Face Book all day and honestly, i’m tired of people making apocalypse jokes like there’s no tomorrow. JK. π

It’s evening on the 21st here in Oz right now, and I can safely say it was an utterly disappointing apocalypse. Not a single zombie in sight. I feel a tad ripped off. *sigh*

ParticipantLove that they’re gonna have a swan of all birds, floating past like that. Wonder if Snow speaks swan as well as she speaks crow? Maybe the bird will end up being a spy. π

ParticipantYES! Can’t wait for this ep! Looking at the pics on that article, the resemblance is uncanny. Well done casting department.

ParticipantWelcome to the forums, fellow Aussie. π
Wonder how in sync they’re gonna keep the eps once it starts up again in the US. Even if we’re only a week or less behind, I daresay I’ll still be downloading it right after it airs in the US, coz I’m impatient like that. π

“In the Name of the Brother” (January 20): Dr. Whale is tasked with mending Hookβs wounds and performing surgery on the stranger whose car crashed upon entering Storybrooke.
How curious that for 28 years, SBers would have accidents of some description to prevent them from leaving town, and now here’s someone coming from the outside having a similar thing happen. It’s like the border of the town is just constantly trying to keep people either in or out. Makes me think that Barrett really doesn’t belong in town. Hmmm.

However, Rumpel and Belle need to sort out their issues. And itβs going to take a long time. And quite frankly, it should. Thatβs why Iβve been so disenchanted by Reginaβs redemption arc. Itβs way too fast and not at all believable. For people who have such deep-seeded issues like Rumpel and Regina, a few episodes arenβt going to cut.
Yeah, that. I wouldn’t buy it if Rumple changed overnight, because he’s got the dark magic addiction even more hardcore than Regina does, and unlike her, he’s showed no signs of desiring to give it up yet. So I think it’s pretty realistic that it should take a while for Rumbelle to get it together properly, and it should be a bumpy road for them to get there.
Regina’s redemption arc has been moving a bit too quickly, but I can accept that because I figure they’ve had to set her up for another fall back to the dark side.
