I had five layers of clothes on and was still slightly cold.

And it looks like Ginny’s having to walk around in tights. She’s much tougher than I, that’s for sure.

Charming kept telling them all to run to the City Hall for safety.

    Hmmm.

Well this murder talk doesn’t sound particularly promising for Archie, given the name of the ep. Or could Archie be too obvious a choice?

Yeah these things usually have a bit from SB and a bit from FTL.

Blue Fairy isn’t going to be happy that Rumple stole all the diamonds from the mine. They were going to be crushed and made into fairy dust thus giving Blue Fairy back her power.

I wonder if that whole charade with the trap in the well wasn’t really just so that Rumple had and excuse to steal the diamonds so that Blue couldn’t use them to regain her power. The thing that didn’t make sense for me with that trap is that whilst I’m guessing he wouldn’t shed a tear if Snow died, Rumple still needs Emma for that favour, so setting a trap that would kill her wouldn’t really make sense. But perhaps he suspected all along that Henry would intervene and Regina would deactivate it, which is why he needed to involve her in the plan, (because let’s face it, he could have set the trap without her). Now Rumple can say to Blue, “Yes, I took your diamonds, but I did it to try and save the town from Cora, and I’m sure you know about Cora, so you can appreciate that I was trying to pretect everyone. 😛 ” And Blue won’t really be able to argue with that.

If Neal/possibly Bae turns up in Storybrooke, it puts Blue Fairy into an interesting position. As far as Bae is concerned, Blue Fairy helped him so he would most likely hang around her until he is ready to come face to face with Rumple again. She could say anything to him about Rumple.

Indeed, it would be very intesting to see how Blue handles it if Neal is Bae. I’m suspecting she knows all about his life in our world, and is probably now waiting for him to arrive in SB, so anything she says to him would likely be quite calculated, especially knowing that Bae would trust her as she helped him in the past.

I hope Neal is not Peter Pan. We know he’s Henry’s father so there is already story to tell there. He may possibly be Bae so there is even more potential for story there. Having him be Peter Pan as well is almost too much.

I’m not sure whether they will even do Peter Pan anyway. There is nothing for Hook to want revenge against Peter for, it was Rumple that cut off his hand.

Which is actually something that I think may be evidence for Bae having been Peter. Given that they’ve now removed the chief reason that Hook hated Peter, the chopping off of his hand, they need to recreate that animosity between them on the show somehow, and having Peter be the son of the person who chopped off Hook’s hand would work quite nicely IMO.

Hook would have already had an emotional connection to Bae before even going to Neverland, given that I’m sure Milah would have often mentioned the kid with sadness, so Hook may have felt guilt for separating them, and then the fact that that separation is what led to Milah’s death. If Bae hadn’t have existed, then Rumple wouldn’t have become the Dark One, wouldn’t have flown off the handle the way he did, and Milah would still be alive. On some level, I wouldn’t blame Hook for resenting Bae’s existence.

So imagine Hook coming face to face with Bae again in Neverland, for the first time since that night in the pub. That situation would be ripe for delicious angst, and would set up the possibility for Bae to discover the truth of what happened to his mother. Bae would have an immediate dislike of Hook if he remembers him as the man who was with his mother that night in the pub. Then perhaps in the middle of him going off at Hook for stealing his mother, (edited to add another thought I just had, that perhaps Hook would try to reach out to Bae at first, knowing that Milah wouldn’t want him being horrible to him, and Bae will reject any attempt of friendship from Hook), which had sent his father spiraling into the hot mess that resulted in his becoming the Dark One, Hook will get riled up and blurt out that Rumple killed her, which Bae wouldn’t want to believe, but part of him would believe it, given the things he’d seen his father do. That would mean that if he is Neal, that’s a whole other level of animosity for them to play out once he’s woven into the present day storyline and has contact with both Rumple and Hook again.

Peter hates Hook for taking away his mother which ultimately led to his father becoming evil.
Hook hates Peter for having been the thing that made it so hard for Rumple to let Milah go, which led to her death.
So Onceiverse Hook and Peter still hate each other, and it all still connects to the Crocodile, so they can still have their traditional rivalry, without straying completely from the reason behind it, even though they’ve totally twisted the story.

PriceofMagic, I admit that when I originally had the idea of Bae being Peter, I too thought that it might be overkill for the character, and almost wrote off the idea as a result. But the more I’ve thought about it, the more I think there’s great storyline and character development potential if it proves true.

What if Peter doesn’t exist yet? In Peter Pan stories Hook is portrayed as an older gentleman yet here we have a young Hook.

Perhaps Hook hasn’t met Peter yet.

They have to have met in Neverland past, otherwise we wouldn’t have the story of Peter Pan and Hook in our world. If Hook went to Neverland and met Peter roughly 250 years before the curse, that allows ample time for their history to have played out, and their story to have made its sway to our world by the early 1900s, when Peter Pan’s story was first told by JM Barrie.

Too me it looks like Charming is going to go into the hole. They’ve got that rope there for him to climb down and he’s saying ‘bye see ya later!’ to Snow.

That pic with Grumpy holding the rope certainly does look like Charming’s all, “I’m goin’ down there to check it out,” and Snow’s thinking, “Oh maaaaannnn, can’t someone else go?”

46 photos and not one that shows who they’re pulling out of the hole, even though the post mentions them doing it over and over again. Tease! 😛

The green screen is intriguing. Does that mean something will be growing out of the hole, or exploding out of the hole? Or is it because it’s the Giant that will be coming out of the hole and that’s where he’ll be standing? Why would the Giant be trying to get to SB though? Maybe Hook made some sort of deal with him to get him there in exchange for the bean? Or maybe Hook stole the bean, so the Giant is following him for revenge? But if that was the final bean, then how does the Giant get there? There’s no green screen IN the hole though, so maybe it’s just someone regular sized who they pull out? Don’t see Mulan or Aurora (or Phillip) standing around there though, so I guess it can’t be them? Maybe it’s not even a portal, and there’s a hole in the ground for some other reason? Too many questions!

Kinda love that Snow’s still carrying around a quiver full of arrows, even in SB.

Interesting that there’s no Emma, even though all the other good guys are there. Wonder if Rumple’s sent her out of town to find Bae by then?

Yes, that will be interesting to see and I hope they don’t just gloss over it and instantly have no remaining awkwardness between father and daughter. It took a little while for Emma to accept Snow as a mother figure, and she hasn’t been around Charming as much, so it stands to reason that she should have to go through a similar process with him. I’d sorta love to see Snow get frustrated by Emma taking her time to accept him.

I suppose though, that if Emma knows all the details: that when she was only a few minutes old, her father ran through the castle with her in one arm, sword in hand, and very nearly died in his effort to save her, that’s something that would speed up the bonding process. Knowing that her father was willing to give up his own life for hers, and almost actually did, that’s sort of an overwhelming thing.

Fairytales end with the words “and they lived happily ever after,” and we’re still in the middle of the story right now, so of course they can’t live completely peacefully and happily just yet. 😉

Interesting Idea, but I think that in the show, Emma was talking about love in general. I don’t think she had broken down her walls enough to let Neal back in, especially after he hurt her so bad the first time around. She’s getting better, but you can’t forget that Neal is a big part of the reason she is the way she is. When she was talking about love being a strength she was thinking about MM and Henry, people who never hurt her. Neal’s a bit different.

This is true. Before that moment though, she’d never considered love to be a strength, what happened with her heart was a “holy crap” moment for her just as much as it was for Cora, (loved the way Emma delivered that line). In a way, Cora really did break down Emma’s walls, coz she had to bust a big hole in them with her hand in order to get to her heart. That hole she made in the wall is what allowed Emma’s power to burst out, full force.

I can still see that Emma may be cautious when it comes to starting things up again with Neal, (considering their history), but I think she’ll be more open to the possibility and more willing to take the chance now than she would have been before. Previously, she would have seen giving into her feelings as being something that made her weak, and she’s spent much of her life trying to be tough as nails. But now she realises that giving in to her feelings would be a display of strength instead, so she’d be more willing to try. And given that Neal didn’t instantly go rushing to SB to find her, I think he may be the more reluctant one in the relationship now. We need to see more of the person he’s become and where his head is really at these days. Will be very interesting to see how their dynamic plays out once they meet up again.
