    What a cool find!

I can just imagine K&H sitting there watching Peter Pan during their research for the show…
“Check out that scene with the clock, maybe we can make that the time that time is stuck at in SB.”
“Sounds good – 8:15 it is – whoa, wait up – what was the order of the Lost numbers again?”
    “Umm…4…8…15…HOLY CRAP.” ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
    “Double whammy!” ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
    *high five*
*both dissolve into fits of giggles*

I love this idea of Blue and Hook using each other to get Rumple, each for their own reasons. Enemy of my enemy is my friend, and all that.

And yes PriceofMagic, it'd fit in with the spoilery stuff you mentioned quite nicely.

I haven’t seen The Princess and the Frog, but from what I’ve read about it since this casting call came out, Tamara seems to fit as Tiana IMO. Especially now with the additional info of her having “an artistic funky style” and “she doesn’t need to try to be cool — she just is”, which suggest they’ve taken inspiration for her from where Disney’s Tiana lived, in the French Quarter in New Orleans. Also, “the type of person who holds her own at a local tavern,” could tie in with Disney’s Tiana having been a waitress.

Now that we’ve seen Emma have the realisation that love isn’t weakness, it’s strength, do you think that will colour how she reacts to Neal when she sees him again?

I’d figured she’d be all hostile towards him and try to shut him out, but now I’m wondering if that might not be the case, or at least not to the extent I’d been anticipating. I’d been thinking that Neal would be the one trying to reach out, asking for forgiveness, wanting to reconnect, with Emma refusing to play along. Now I’m wondering if maybe the roles could be a bit reversed, and perhaps his self blame for his role in what happened to Emma is what’s kept him from rushing to SB, and will keep him from being open to her advances when they see each other again, (if he is indeed Bae, his internal dialogue could be that he’s a coward who ran, just like his father, so he’s no better, and when he meets Henry, he could think he’d be no good as a father figure for him, just like his own father was bad for him). Emma knows she’s got an invincible heart now, so really, why would she be the reluctant one in their future relationship?

I’d love for the writers to introduce Authorian mythology into the show. But I think season 2 is a litle too early for it. Maybe season 3. But if she does turn out to be Morgana, I won’t complain. I love her. ๐Ÿ˜€

They’ve already laid the groundwork for Arthurian legend by introducing Lancelot. If he’s not really dead, and has just been held prisoner somewhere, it’d make sense that they’d reveal that when Aurora and Mulan are running around trying to save Phillip, and then maybe trying to find a way out of FTL, and they find Lancelot in the process. I wouldn’t think they’d leave it too much later in the season to re-introduce him, (if that is indeed their plan), considering it’s already been a little while since we’ve seen him. So more Arthurian characters could possibly fit in around about this spot in the ep order.

Taking the speculation about Helena in ep13 being Guinevere, that could be the ep where they’d re-introduce Lancelot and tell some of his back story. Then, when he hears about what’s happened to the remainder of FTL and realises they’re on their own with nothing and no clue what to do, perhaps it could be that he knows where Morgana had been living during the years of the curse, so he’ll take them all there in ep14, because they need the help of someone who has magical ability.

    Perhaps?

@Phee – it sadly isn’t awkward phrasing or a case of sarcasm not working right over the internet. Checked out this person’s page and they have several tweets about Neal that are just …irate! Lot of profanity so I won’t be posting screen shots but apparently they feel the show has been a failure ever since Tallahassee and the Neal storyline was introduced.

Ah, well then, that’s just sad. I have a good friend who is a huge Supernatural fan, and her fave character is Castiel, and apparently there’s a faction of the fandom that really hates Cas and aren’t shy about it. As I’ve said to her, and I’ll say here now, I don’t understand when fans of a show get off on harbouring such hate for one of the major characters and/or storylines. Surely having such passionately negative feelings would ruin one’s enjoyment of the show overall? So why go out of your way to feel so negatively? If it annoys you that much, then why bother with the show at all? I’m not saying that everyone has to love every character, or that people can’t love to hate a character, but to wish a character or storyline didn’t even exist…what do you get out of that, except having your enjoyment of the whole show ruined? Doesn’t make sense to me.

Anyway, regarding MRJ, I’m guessing he’s well aware that for every one person who may tweet him that they hate Neal, there are MANY people who are eagerly waiting to see him again. I’m sure he wouldn’t be unaware of the frenzy the fandom was sent into over his character, and that’s gotta be a nice little ego boost. ๐Ÿ˜‰ He’s a big boy, and as an actor, I’m guessing he’s developed a bit of a thick skin when it comes to comments like that, and knows that laughing them off is the best response.

I think he used a bit of Bae’s DNA (a hair left on a cloak, perhaps) to ‘anchor’ the curse to when Bae would be alive. With both of their essences used in the curse–that’s what drew them together. What made Emma chose that bug out of any other car. What happened afterword couldn’t have been planed.

That’s a really great idea. I’ve always wondered how Rumple could have figured out exactly where and when Bae had gone to, because it’s not like there’d be a whole lot of info on worlds without magic at his disposal for him to evaluate and find the right place and time. We’ve seen him use magic that can find someone if the potion is poured on something the person owned. Perhaps he originally developed that little trick as an ingredient for the curse, and combined it with a hair of Bae’s, or just a piece of something he’d owned.

Regarding the tweet that MRJ got, is the person who sent it known for being a hater? Coz I figured it could be taken either way. Sure, it could mean, “I hate the sound of this because I hate Neal and the thought of seeing more of him makes me wanna puke.” Or, “This is so awesome it made me so excited that my stomach did a flip and it makes me wanna puke.” The word they used which would get censored if I typed it out, doesn’t necessarily always mean something bad these days, it can be used in reference to something you think is awesome, or can be a totally neutral term. It’s a very multi purpose word, along with its relative, that other 4 letter word that starts with f, very useful in many situations. ๐Ÿ˜‰ If in fact the person was being a hater, then obviously, that’s uncalled for and uncouth.

The extreme paranoia over Hook’s fate has been uneccessary.

General discussion about him is to be expected, considering he’s a newbie who has intriguing and nefarious connections to several major characters.

If there are other topics you’d rather discuss, there’s nothing stopping anyone from starting a topic on any subject. If you’d rather not see so much about Hook, just post about other things instead, and if those discussions kick off, that will be what’s in the active topics, instead of the Hook stuff. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Ok… the whole theory of Rumpel being Henry’s Gpa… I get the theory (Bae got sent to our land and he is Neil?) but I don’t get how the timing works… wasn’t Bae sent to our land like 200 years before the curse, according to this website’s timeline (which I am guessing is based on something that I’ve missed). So… wouldn’t Bae be long dead by the time Emma came along, if he were sent here?

Or is the theory that he was sent to Neverland and that’s why he didn’t age? But then how would he get back to our world to impregnate Emma with Henry?.

In The Return, part of Mr Gold’s speech to August, when he thinks he’s Bae is:

โ€ฆ I just want you to know, that ever since you left, ever since you crossed the barriers of time and space, in every waking momentโ€ฆ

That implies that Bae jumped through time, not just between worlds. You don’t need Neverland and the Peter Pan theory in the equation to make the passage of time work, because Bae could have landed in our world at any point in time, and most believe that Rumple designed the curse to coincide with the time that Bae arrived in our world.
