Does make it sound like it’s probably David. Considering he was comatose when they arrived in SB and Regina intended him to always stay that way, I’d believe that he was never assigned an alternate name.
Was just doing some poking around on wikipedia, on the page for Ruth, (from the Bible). She’s the great grandmother of King David, and both of them are related to Jesus. Kinda fitting names for family members of Emma the Saviour. If Charming’s name doesn’t turn out to be David, I’m putting my money on it being Joseph. Dunno if they’d parallel the Bible that closely, having the father of the Saviour being named Joseph, but James and Joseph does sound like a nice pair of names for twins, so I’m throwing the idea out there as a possibility.
😆 I do love that they gave Cora a line where she called Aurora “plucky”, and shortly thereafter, she had her heart plucked.
Anyway, in regards to the technical question, I’m thinking that the plucker can relinquish the power if they willingly give it to someone else. In The Doctor, we saw Rumple pluck the unicorn’s heart, then he handed it over to Regina, telling her to kill it. He gave up the heart, and in doing so, gave Regina control over it. Same deal with Hook giving Aurora’s heart to Cora.
Hmmm, that is a tad curious. It’d be good to have an ep that focuses on those we already know, without bringing in any more new faces.

I could get behind the idea of CaptainQueen if they went in that direction. Only problem is, if he’s now allied with Cora, Regina may not want anything to do with him. If they can resolve that somehow, then I agree, they have a fair bit in common and could potentially get along as a couple.

Yeah I was pretty much convinced of that before seeing this clip too, but there’s no way Belle will want anything to do with Hook in SB now. If he wants to use her to get to Rumple, he’ll just have to straight up threaten her life.

I know it’s ridiculous, but I’m still not entirely convinced that it’ll definitely be the real Snow and Emma. It’s not even that I care whether or not the impostor theory is true, it’s just that I’m utterly cynical and think that if they show us something so major and so blatant in the promo, there’s a good chance they’re just trying to mislead us. I don’t trust promo makers! 😆 Of course, the misdirection could instead be that they’re making it look like the real Emma and Snow are jumping into the trap that’ll kill them, when in actual fact there’ll be no danger by that time. But basically, one way or the other, there be lies of some sort in that promo. 😈
I’m guessing that it’ll be Snow & Emma vs Cora & Hook at the lake, and there’ll be a vial of magical squid ink being tossed around, and eventually someone will grab it and use it on their opposition, then they’ll go jump in the portal.
Also, yes, I’m wondering about the missing Aurora and Mulan. I guess maybe they discover that Cora has Aurora’s heart, so they split up so that Cora can’t track them that way any more. And of course Mulan won’t let Aurora wander off on her own, so they go off together.

Yeah, I’m guessing that’s what’s up with her voice being a bit off. She’s gotta re-learn how to do the EQ voice, and it’d be hard to get it sounding exactly the same.

I think the burn is a consequence of “going deeper” into the netherworld. Before when they were just sleeping, Henry and Aurora didn’t have burns. It wasn’t until they made contact with one another that the burns started popping up. I don’t think one is supposed to be communicating in that inferno and when you go “deeper” to explore the area or communicate, you suffer the burns.. or worse.
So even though Henry is fated to go back to that room until his mind can protect him from going there, he isn’t going “into the deep” of the netherworld and therefore will not have any physical harm.
Which is why Charming went in. Because he had to go in deeper to get the message across.
This is what I was gonna post, but you beat me to it. Yes, the room is scary just being in it, and Henry will have to deal with that again when he sleeps, but it was when they tried to communicate that the flames seemed to leap up, to try and prevent them making contact. As long as one is just IN the room, and not trying to do anything in there, I don’t think there’s a risk of being burned. So Charming took it upon himself to do the truly dangerous bit, to spare Henry more physical injury.

So now I’m wondering if that scene in the promo where Regina seems to be putting her hands over the well and sucking the power up, is her giving in to Henry and de-activating the trap they’ve set.
I agree that it’d be good TV if Archie turns out to be the one who isn’t 100% trustworthy after all. If you can’t trust your conscience, then what can you trust? I guess Archie is so sweet that I don’t like the thought of him suffering, but I love the questions it raises on the whole if the town’s conscience is corrupted somehow, speaking more as an overall theme, as opposed to about Archie specifically.

That’s basically what it comes down to. He even stated explicitly to Henry that faith is how their family rolls. He believed that somehow, it’d all work out, and it’s safe to say that it will, even though the netherworld kiss wasn’t doable.
BTW, the bit where Snow was all concerned about him and he’s all, “It was worth it,” totally made me swoon. Where can I get one of them Prince Charming types who’d risk it all for me. *sigh*
