Hee, hee since Helena is described as a brunette and in her 30s, I must make my obligatory “it’s Bae” post. Rumple is sure going to be surprised when he runs into Bae again.

Wonder Woman, all the way. 😉
New theory, forget Peter Pan, Bae totally became Wonder Woman. No wonder it’s taken Rumple so long to try and track him down. 😛
Anyway, yes, the name Helena does suggest Greek mythology.
Do we know which ep Barrett is gonna show up? *googling* Ep 11, apparently. Was wondering if the two characters might be linked. Same age, and she’s a “fierce hunter of deadly creatures” and he “has a very dark side and has beliefs and a way of life that he will fight fiercely to defend”. If they’re not both showing up in the same ep though, it’s probably unlikely that they’re linked.

ParticipantPhillip lives!! 😀 I’d expected we’d see him again at some point, but was starting to wonder coz we hadn’t heard anything about him yet.

I have a totally different theory about Snow White’s mother (SWM).
First, I believe that whatever happened to SWM was caused by Cora. She wanted her daughter to become queen (she named her Regina), and caused Snow’s horse to be frightened. I don’t think it’s a stretch to assume she’s behind the fate of SWM.
Now, this is where I’m really speculating, but what if Cora did not kill SWM, but trapped her somewhere, maybe even in a different world.
I’ve never been a fan of the Cora as Queen of Hearts theory, because I think if it was, we would have seen Cora in Hat Trick, so that we would speculate on how she became the Queen of Hart, or how she arrived in Wonderland. It made me think – why did the QoH not want Regina referred to as “the queen”? Maybe because she is the true wife of King Leopold, and rightful Queen of his land. That would also explain why she kidnapped Henry Sr., and wanted to have Jefferson make another hat.
Now, I know SWM is referred to lovingly by King Leopold. But, evil is made, not borne. So, if she was trapped in another land, it might have been a question of survival to turn to “the dark side”. Add that to her desire to seek revenge on Cora or her daughter, and you have the perfect condition to corrupt someone.
Interesting idea of having SWM connected to Wonderland. Reminded me of a theory I had a little while back that perhaps SWM would be Wonderland’s White Queen, (it’d fit sort of perfectly for the White Queen’s daughter to be called Snow White).
It wouldn’t surprise me if Cora had had something to do with whatever happened to SWM.
I’ve been on the Cora = QoH bandwagon since the start though. I think they had QoH’s face covered and voice hidden too so that when we saw Barbara Hershey as Cora, we wouldn’t automatically make the connection, (though I totally still did).

ParticipantWell that kills both the theories that Ethan Embry would play Victor’s brother and that Gerhardt would be a young Maurice. 😆
Guess he’s gonna get torn up in a battle and that’s why Victor has to stitch him back together?
@PriceofMagic wrote:
I wonder if the brother is going to be Jekyll and Hyde. They could twist it by having the brother have split personality disorder.
Yeah, I’d been hoping they might do that with his brother. Though that was when I wondered if the brother was a doctor too, so they could make him Dr Jekyll, and when he became the monster, he became Mr Hyde. But it turns out he’s a soldier, not a doctor, so that part of my little theory is bust now, (unless he was a medic in the army).

BTS photos:

Those couple pics are cute! “Yeah, I can totes take this guy without even spilling a single drop of my coffee, coz I totes killed a dragon last week.”
Look what Hook has in his hand; it’s the magical bean-making device that the giant had but said no longer worked! 😮 What if Cora can get it to work again? It looks like Cora is threatening Hook in these photos, holding his hook to his heart, so maybe Hook will double-cross Cora in the end.
I was too distracted by the smouldering gaze to notice he had anything in his hand. 😉 Anyway, you mean the thing the Giant wore that had the dead bean attached to it? I thought that was more oval in shape? This appears to be a strap of some sort, with the ends of ties of some sort poking through a couple of holes. The dead bean was tied down with a couple of straps if memory serves, so I guess this could be part of it. Maybe Cora’s plan is to pour the sparkly dirt onto the dead bean?

ParticipantI didn’t really think much of her saying that, but I guess it could be an indication that she had her memories, (I’m a subscriber to that theory), and had checked before. I sorta just took it as, “We didn’t have magical stuff in SB, but now we do, coz YAY magic is back.”

so Ruby’s enjoying the last hours of the fall moon ends, running around in the woods? without her red cloak? and Charming isn’t concerned about this? He just prevented the town from killing her and Ruby’s free to run around in the woods? I mean, we saw that she can still change to the wolf in Storybrooke and without the cloak, she’s running around as the wolf having the time of her life? I get that she can control it but there’s something amiss here.
She coulda snuck out without anyone knowing, but then they put that howl in there right after she’d left, and dude, the people who were after her before would hear that and freak out all over again. I didn’t really have an issue with her going out, because I trust her not to go eating anyone, and Charming trusts her, (BTW I really loved the scene where he was getting close to her when she was in wolf form, it really showed how much they know and trust each other and was very touching), but I wouldn’t blame people in town who don’t really know her to be a bit wary, so perhaps she should keep the howling down.

I agree though that there were several head scratching moments. Like why did Charming let Regina into his house to watch Henry when surely Archie or someone could have been available?
Coz Lana’s on a main cast salary and it woulda cost them more to bring in Raphael just for a bit part? 😛 Seriously though, they had to set it up so that Regina would go to Rumple for help with Henry’s dreams.
Why didn’t Charming try harder to get the hat from the fire? Wasn’t the hat already supposed to be incapable of working per Jefferson’s words earlier in the season?
Yeah, I dunno why he didn’t at least look around for a long stick he could use to drag it out of the fire, or dump sand on it to try and put it out, or something. I can appreciate that he didn’t wanna throw his bare hands right in there, but he coulda tried other options. But considering it was already pretty busted up, what was left probably burned up pretty quickly, I guess, so maybe there was no point in him even trying.
Why did Charming so coolly open King George’s car trunk, but then smashed the window of King George’s car to get into it? Why was King George so dumb to leave evidence like that in his car?
I didn’t have a problem with Charming breaking into the car, but I was kinda surprised that he didn’t instantly recognise it as George’s. And yes, it was kinda careless for George to just leave that stuff in the car.
Why did the dream not look scary at all but instead brought to my mind the infectious 70s hit “Disco Inferno”?
Well now every time I see a scene in that red room I’m gonna be singing, “Buuuurrrrnnnn, baby buuuurrrrrnnnn,” in my head. Thank you very much. 😛

What happens if Ruby leaves town while transformed?
This is the thing I was concerned about when she went running off. Does she know exactly where the city limit is if she’s running around in the woods in the middle of the night? If she’s all excited and having a grand old run under the moon, she’d better still be paying attention to where she is, so she doesn’t accidentally step over the line.

I wonder if Cora has Hook kidnap Regina’s father.
I like this idea! If Hook has done something like that for Cora to prove his worth, it’d explain why she’s willing to team up with him now. As to how Hook ever ended up in Wonderland and/or in contact with Cora, thinking about that one makes my head hurt. 😆

Yet, we see Jefferson and Regina pull an apple from FTL pre broken curse. Does this suggest that one can travel from a land without magic to a land with magic and then back again? What are the exact rules of the hat? Also, since Jefferson was able to travel to Frankenstein’s world via Hat, I assume that Frankenstein’s world has magic?
Regina had to give the hat power because it did not have the ability to pull the apple from FTL until she put magical objects into it, including her ring from Daniel. So, it could work (in a very limited fashion) in a non magical realm so long as it was given a boost. Once Gold gave magic to the world, the hat could work once Emma touched Regina because Regina herself had no powers at that moment (still waiting for that one to be fully fleshed out by our writers!)
This makes sense to me. Pre-curse, the hat couldn’t contact our world or vice versa because the hat needs magic to work.
I think the main point with Frankenstein’s world is that science and magic are the same thing, only he doesn’t recognize them as such.
Adam Horowitz tweeted someone after that ep and said that Frankenstein’s world does indeed have magic, it’s just that Frankenstein didn’t realise it.

Right now I’m a little scared I must admit 😯
That the writers have gone completly bonkers with all these portals and entanglements with this and that. I feel a bit out of breath. Hope its only from all of you guys (and my own) crazy speculations. We could come up with a million different ways this could work…and the way Adam and Eddy have cooked up will be something completely different. 😆 As fans, we often make things seem more complicated than they turn out to be, because we don’t have the info, so we have to consider ALL the options…even the really whacked out ideas.

I think the scene with the hall of mirrors could be when Charming risks his own life. If the netherworld into which Henry and Aurora enter during sleep proves to be too costly for Henry, Charming may willingly enter an enchanted sleep to communicate with Snow White.
But we haven’t seen a hall of mirrors before. The only times we’ve seen mirrors is when Jefferson and Regina walked through one, and when Cora was shoved through one, and when Regina spoke to one. He’s in a different place to the burning room, which is where he should be if he’s under a sleeping curse. So where is he? It looks like at one point he’s crouching down and whacking something?
@steliokontos1 wrote:
When Aurora gets lifted up it seemed more like when the Hat takes you to a different world but I don’t know how that would work since the place they’re in only holds their consciousnesses. I wonder if they some how use Emma’s hat to return to Storybrooke if that means that only 3 can go back still?
Maybe that’s just what it looks like when someone wakes up from that sleep curse dream? I’d figured that people would just fade in and out of the burning room though, not go flying through the air. You’re right, it does seem like a portal leaving type action. They’ve never shown us anyone coming up through a portal like that before, but I’d imagine that’d be how it’d happen if the portal is a swirling vortex type situation.

Hmm…I’m thinking the zombies could be those people that where consumed by the wraith. But which world did we see, FTL or Storybrooke?
Well, the zombies kind of look like they are all those people in that village in FTL that Cora killed, back when they found Hook pretending to be the only survivor. At least the scenery sort of looks the same to me. And if she killed them by ripping their hearts out, it would be fitting that she could control them, hence zombies
Yep, that’s where the zombies come from.
PS: Don’t we get a Canadian Promo too?
Usually, yeah. I just did a youtube search and didn’t find one for this ep though.
