I think it’s the glasses that kinda make her look older, but when you see a full length shot and how she’s dressed, that clearly makes her look younger.

OMG I know, she looks so cheery, and she hasn’t had much cheer in her life, and it’s about to all come crashing down around her. Poor Emma. 🙁
Snow didn’t know of him before Red told her, and even Red only knew of him via rumours, not because he was a celeb that everyone knew. So Regina must have kept her dealings with him and his identity a secret, if even her step daughter hadn’t heard of him.
I’m gonna guess that once Snow knew, that’s when his name started to become common knowledge again, because it’s not like she’d go out of her way to protect his secret.
If he does get stabbed, I doubt it’ll kill him. It’ll probably come close, but he’ll be healed somehow, and with that, the Dark One curse will die and no one will have to bear its burden ever again. How delightful would that irony be, if in trying to kill him, Hook inadvertently saves his soul.

Interesting thought, but I dunno, just based on the fact that they have drastically different social statuses. Though I guess it’s possible that Jefferson left his poor family behind to be a super star portal jumper who socialises with royalty. Maybe that’s what Regina’s comment about never leaving family behind had to do with?

Good question. Hmmm, I guess as they were never affected by the curse to begin with, they’d be immune to what happens when you leave. Imagine how much that would tick Rumple off, if Hook is able to leave town, (possibly even to go after Bae if it turns out he is Peter Pan), while Rumple’s stuck. That would be infuriating for him.
Oh I really hope that hook in the chest isn’t foreshadowing for Hook sticking the dagger in Rumple’s chest. It may be too delicious of a parallel for them to resist though.

Yeah, I think the exact word they used was “misunderstood” so I was going into this ep with an open mind, eager to see what it was that affected him so much that it set him on that dark path. I’m looking forward to seeing how his character evolves.
My very first impression of him was to want to kick Milah out of her chair in the bar and sit there myself with that fine view across the table. Pour me another, plz, Mr Jones! 😉
