That’s quite an impressive beanstalk. Has there been talk anywhere of Dylan Schmid being on set? His Twitter says nothing about it. If he’s not there, then Bae isn’t gonna be our Jack from this story, and we’ll see someone else playing with magic beans instead.

Adam and Eddy did say that they had an interesting way of introducing the new characters. Having them meet up with a time travelling Emma and Snow would be pretty interesting and unexpected.

I just mentioned that in the ep 2 description thread. Interesting that he’s not there but the girls are. Makes me a bit concerned for his safety. 😕

True, though if you look at the dialogue, it’s not explicitly stated what Jefferson did for his part in the deal:

Jefferson: For you. Well, for me, it’s the perfect time. I’m here to collect. Where… Where is she… My daughter?
Regina: Emma was supposed to eat that apple, and she didn’t. As far as I’m concerned, that makes our deal null and void.
Jefferson: I did what you asked, and you’re going to screw me over again?
Regina: Look at it however you want, Jefferson. The fact is, I’m done with you.
Jefferson: But I’m… I’m not done with you.
Regina: What are you going to do? Kill me? I know you want to, but I also know you can’t.
Jefferson: Do you?
Regina: Yes. You don’t have it in you. Now, if you excuse me, I have to save my son.

We know that Jefferson helped her get the apple, so seeing them say that, we know what they’re talking about. Henry doesn’t know that though, so he can’t automatically fill in the gaps. And the tone of the conversation is that Jefferson is anti-Regina, in fact, by the end of the conversation, he’s officially out to get her, which means he and Henry have the same objective in this battle that’s about to go down.

So in ep 2 we get Aurora and Mulan again…but no Phillip? Hmmm.

Nice to have clarification that they still can’t leave. Wonder who’ll be the one who tries to?

I wanna say that Snow and Emma will be zapped back to FTL history, because it could be interesting to see adultSnow witnessing what was going on with Regina when she (Snow) was a little girl.

But then, if Hook has found his way to SB, and I don’t think he was there the whole time, that could mean that there’s a weakened barrier between worlds, so if he can go from Neverland to SB, perhaps they could go from SB to any world.

I have a new theory starting to develop. In alchemy, white arsenic was considered a key step to making the philosopher’s stone. White arsenic “helps to make the pill of immortality, the conclusion of the Great Work, or search for the philosopher’s stone to transmute base elements into gold.” What if the reversed (upside-down) symbol of white arsenic on Rumpel’s medallion represents Rumpel’s curse being reversed? 😮

In the new promo for s2, there is a brief glimpse of Mr.Gold/Rumpel is holding up his knife (with his name on it) to the medallion with the reversed symbol of white arsenic. I wonder if he is performing a ritual which he believes will help reverse his curse of being the Dark One. Adam and Eddy said S2 is all about redemption and second chances. I’d like to see Mr. Gold/Rumpel find his happy ending.

LOVE this idea!! In the promo, he was holding it up, and then drops the medallion while still holding the dagger. I wonder if he’s just cast a spell of some description and something is about to happen, like the name will disappear from the dagger? Maybe bringing magic back was a vital step in this process…he needed the magic to work in SB so he could cast the spell that would destroy the Dark One curse, which couldn’t be destroyed by any means back in FTL?

That’s totally what it is! Perfect match except for the upsidedown-ness. A couple of cool bits of info that people posted in the comments over there:

“The elemental alchemy symbol arsenic was used for medicinal and magical cures. A compound of arsenic and sulpher were said to induce trances of enlightenment and philosphical ascention and direction.”

Now we know what it is, we can officially start wondering what he’s gonna do with it. 😉

OK cool, so we’ve definitely got the Giant in this ep, and if that pic of the ship is from this ep, there’ll be something significant happening with Hook too, (all that smoke looks like a fire and/or a battle or something). All in a huge Emma ep. Eeeeek!

I would LOVE it if Hook makes a grand entrance to SB on his ship! Just coz they’re shooting near where SB is though, doesn’t necessarily mean that the area they’re shooting is also meant to portray SB, it may have just been the easiest place they could set up a shoot with a big ship. But it’d be really cool if the ship is in SB.
