ParticipantThanks, Marliou, though it still remains to be seen if I’m even remotely right and am likely completely wrong. 😆

ParticipantOK, so safe to say that Charming wasn’t ever given Excalibur by Lady of the Lake then, so I’d say we can rule him and Snow out as being Arthur and Guinevere, and also rule out Snow’s complicated relationship with Lancelot being the big love affair.
I don’t put much stock in differences in show pilots. Those are shot in advance, before a show is even guaranteed, so by the time a show goes into production, things get set up properly and things get tweaked. That’s why I’m not really bothered by Snow’s comment about EQ thinking she was prettier than her. They were trying to sell the show with that pilot, and that’s a key element of the traditional story, so they slipped it in there purely because it was something familiar to the people who had to be drawn into the pilot in order to get the show the green light.

zlfh4 – Exactly! The balance needed to be restored from Charming killing the siren, and it ends up being his mother.
That’s a pretty cool idea!

ParticipantSaw that on Twitter just before. Genius! 😆

ParticipantWell Jennifer did tweet a few hours ago that she was working with Colin O’Donoghue today. Also, Colin tweeted: “Apparently, “Shipping” means something else!” on the 13th.
There haven’t been any leaks about Jorge being on set yet, have there? Just his tweet about the wardrobe fitting? Coz if we’re getting footage of Hook’s ship in the ep they’re currently shooting, unless the ship somehow made it to SB, safe to say these are Neverland flashbacks and they’re not shooting Jack and the Beanstalk stuff yet and Jorge just went up to Vancouver early. Which means I’m sticking with my theory of MRJ’s character being Peter Pan for a bit longer.

ParticipantScore! Looks awesome! 😀

Phee, this is once again going off your theory.
Ruth becomes the Lady of the Lake.
Imagine that she was mortally wounded, and Charming realized he’s guilty of causing her death. Desperate enough to make a deal? She wouldn’t be dead yet, so maybe magic could intervene and keep her alive – but the price is that she must remain the Lady of the Lake for all eternity and separated from her son….just becomes I love to see families in this show suffer. 😆
It would leave Ruth open to return from time to time to give advice to the heroes, but with a touch of family angst.
I considered that the other day, actually, but hadn’t thought the theory through properly yet…
I was wondering if Charming has always had the same sword? The one that Emma used in the finale, was that the same as what we’d previously seen him use? Was gonna look into that, but hadn’t gotten around to it. On the one hand, it’d be kind of great if Ruth becomes Lady of the Lake and gives Excalibur to her son when he’s setting out to lead the troops to take on King George. But if we’ve seen Charming with that sword already, then that theory is a bust.
Anyway, if that were the case with Ruth giving the sword to Charming, making Charming and Snow our Arthur and Guinevere, starting with this battle to take back the kingdom, I’m not sure if that would fit with the timeline, because the casting call for Lancelot made it sound like Arthur and Guinevere already existed before then: “In his tragic past, he was torn from his true love and banished from the king and country he served.” Also, they made a point of Oncieverse Lancelot having a British accent, so I doubt our Arthur and Guinevere would be American.
I do like the idea of Ruth being saved from death by being turned into a being like Lady of the Lake though. Guess they could get around those issues if they made Lady of the Lake more of a position that someone can hold, as opposed to one single person. In that case, Ruth could become one of the Ladies of the Lake, just not the specific one who gave Excalibur to Arthur, (and maybe that one was Snow’s mother, going back to my original Lady of the Lake theory). Perhaps?

I stumble upon this and I don’t know if this information has been shared already or if it is even remotely true but I thought I would share.

I’m glad we’re gonna see Chip again. That should be a sweet moment, when Belle discovers that Rumple kept that cup. 🙂

Y’all are NEVER gonna guess who my fairytale character is & I ain’t tellin. Just know it’s gonna be worth the wait. #OnceUponATimeI’m wondering if we are all getting too close and he is trying to throw us off the Frankenscent with the “fairytale character” comment?
Frankenscent! 😆 Lots of stuff seems to fit for the Frankie theory, but yeah, that “fairytale character” bit kinda doesn’t.
Guess we’ll soon see! I’m still wondering what people will be calling him in ep 1 and if we’ll get his real name then, even if we don’t get his centric ep until a bit later. Especially now, seeing the pics from ep 1 where it looks like he’s gonna be pretty central to that scene where Regina tries magic, I wonder if they could have a scene like that, where he seems to have a decent amount of dialogue, and other characters are talking to him, without giving away his identity.
I guess if people just call him “Doctor”, that could cover both his personalities if he’s both Dr Whale and Dr Frankenstein, without giving his name away completely.

Participant‘Tis true, we have no idea how reliable the info is, but I suppose there must have been something indicative of a father/son scene between him and Henry or a mother/father scene between him and Emma. Some more info about exactly what was seen would be handy. Maybe there’ll be pics leak out soon, so we can see who was talking to who.

ParticipantLove the pics!!! 😀 The one of Charming crouching down in front of Henry, with Snow and Emma in the frame is lovely. And those pics with Dr Whale are gonna keep me up all night, wondering what they mean. 😛

can we all just take a mental note of how awesome the extra, in the first picture, (white with brown hair) on the left of Jennifer Morrison is?
1) she is ROCKING that canadian tuxedo.
2) look at the rage in her face!!!
😆 She does look pretty badass.

ParticipantThe comment about the costume sounds like he will in fact be in FTL. Some of us had wondered if maybe the Giant would be a real world person who Jack/Bae ran into after leaving FTL. I suppose he could still have a cool costume if he’s a real world character, but “greatest costume ever” sounds like something out of the ordinary.
Just went to check Dylan Schmid’s tweets, but his last one was on the 1st, nothing about being in Vancouver.
