Have seen Lancelot suggested on another forum too, and think that idea fits really well. As far as heroic and tragic legends about knights go, he’s the man. Arthur’s #1 knight who had an affair with Guinevere that brought about the downfall of the kingdom. Seems to fit the story of the casting call pretty well.

Here’s the casting call info for him: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1843230/board/thread/200527745?d=201498446&p=4#201498446

ONCE UPON A TIME, Ep. 203
    Director: Milan Cheylov
    Shoots: 8/8 – 8/20
    Location: Vancouver

[KNIGHT] Male, African-American, British accent, late 20s to early 30s. A sword-for-hire, he’s one of the most dangerous men in Fairy Tale Land, because he’s a man with nothing to lose. In his tragic past, he was torn from his true love and banished from the king and country he served. Though he says he now serves only himself and his fee, he can’t help but be guided by his sense of honor, the memory of the man he once was and his true nobility. Guest star.

That made me LOL, coz when they were talking about a former Lost-ie joining the cast the other day, my guess was Malcolm David Kelley as Prince Phillip. And the Lost-ie casting news turned out to not be anything definite, and it was about Jorge Garcia, so I was totally wrong, but now there’s gonna be an African American knight anyway, so I wasn’t completely off the mark. 😉

Firstly, just gotta say that I do kinda love the idea that the bean hole could have gone to Beantown. 😆

I think that she didn’t commit the crime in Worcester, she met the people in Worcester who she eventually committed the crime with. Buut the actual crime happened in Arizona.

I’m no expert in these matters, but if she was tried and jailed in Arizona, wouldn’t that mean that the crime happened in Arizona? But whatever happened obviously has its origin in Mass.

I’m going with something like, she’d been living in Arizona with her foster family, working in the diner, hooking up with Henry’s dad the married man. Her family went on a trip to Worcester and while she was there, she met someone associated with their friends, (maybe the family friends had troubled kids of their own), and they asked her to do something, let’s say they gave her some drugs to take back to Arizona for them. When Emma gets home, she doesn’t know what to do, is scared, needs help, goes to Henry’s dad for help because he’s the only adult who she trusts. He abandons her, maybe he’s even the one who turns her in to the authorities because she won’t leave him alone and he doesn’t want his wife finding out he’s been screwing around, so he wants Emma out of the way. Then she ends up in jail and that’s when she discovers she’s pregnant.

Really ruined my theories knowing Gold was under the curse until Emma came to town. Even though he was part of it, I thought he left and returned with Henry. Now, no ideas! Blue Fairy avoid curse, had memories, and brought Henry to town? Possible, but than she is a great actress and very manipulative.

I’m still sticking to the Blue Fairy having set that up, unless and until they confirm she didn’t have her memories, which I really suspect she did. I think she’d kept tabs on Emma, knew she was pregnant, had a friendly word to the Mayor about it how it would enrich her life to adopt a child, then Regina went to Gold coz Rumple gets the babies, he then went to Mother Superior who’d be the one to know if there were orphans in town to be adopted, and she arranged for Henry to come to Storybrooke.

Emma is told that there’s someone who wants to adopt her baby. Adoption is different to the foster system she grew up and suffered in. Adoption means her baby will have a permanent, stable, safe home. That’s more than she ever had and more than she has to offer. I doubt she’d have to think too hard about doing what was best for the baby.

It turns out that it’s not even anything set in stone, http://www.tvguide.com/News/Once-Upon-Time-Lost-1049691.aspx, they just want to try to get Jorge Garcia to be on the show at some point now that Alcatraz has been canceled. (Unless they’re really going an entirely different route for adult!Baelfire. 😀 )

Well that’s a bit of a bummer that it wasn’t actual casting news. Sounds like they’ve confirmed we’re getting Aladdin though, so at least that’s something.

but I think with Josh Holloway, there might be more chemistry there between him and Jennifer Morrison.

    They would be HAWT together.

They might have already had actors in mind for an adultBae or Henry’s dad last season and quietly cast those roles. I can’t see them openly announcing Baelfire or anyone that could fit his description, plus since any male role announced would send people in a Baelfire frenzy,

Yeah, I can’t see them announcing their adultBae and/or Henry’s dad this far ahead of time.

Wouldn’t it be likely that it’ll be another character connected to either Mulan or Aurora? If they’re gonna tell those stories, they’ll need the other characters from them too. I guess if it were Mulan, the only Lost contender would possibly be Yunjin Kim playing her mother? Aurora needs a Prince Phillip. If he’s gonna be cast the same age as Aurora, Malcolm David Kelley would fit.

Unless Anastasia is her real world name, but why would characters be having two names still. That doesn’t make sense to me, unless they are trying to keep their identity a secret from Snow, Charming, and Emma. Like i could see bad guys doing that.

Casting calls often have fake names for characters, so the names Anastasia and Magnolia might not be used on the show at all. Though if those were the character’s Storybrooke names, I guess they might be mentioned at some point.

I wondered about that, too. Then again, in the original Sleeping Beauty fairy tale she sleeps for 100 years! So they could work with that. Maybe she was only awakened shortly before the curse …

We don’t even know for sure that she woke up at all in FTL. She may have just been napping the whole time they’ve been in Storybrooke. We know that the Sleeping Beauty story can’t end the same in FTL, because in the Once-iverse, it’s Emma who slays dragon Maleficent, not Prince Phillip. And when Regina went to see Maleficent, she wasn’t impressed that the sleeping curse had been broken by a kiss, so perhaps that part of the Sleeping Beauty story hadn’t happened yet in FTL, otherwise she shouldn’t have been surprised, (though it wouldn’t be unlike Regina to rush into a situation like that without thinking it through and considering all the facts first). In the original story, Aurora was 16, so if they wanted to bump her age up a few years, about 20 would be the right age if she’d been sleeping and not ageing ever since.

    Voted.

I’m guessing voting started at 12:16pmPDT on the 1st, which is the time stamp on the article? And it’s open for 72 hours, so should be ending at 12:16pm on the 4th, yes?

I’m thinking it’s safe to assume that they’ve got plans to do Sleeping Beauty. We’ve heard Maleficent and Regina making reference to that story, so safe to say we’re gonna get it on the show at some point. Though obviously the story won’t end the same way, because in the Once-iverse it was Emma who slew the dragon Maleficent at a later date.

oh and just speculation but maybe the bow and arrow that Rumple gives Snow is actually Robin Hood’s bow and arrow…

My theory is it was Cupid’s. An arrow that always finds its target and ended up hitting Charming and bringing back their twu wuv? Totally Cupid’s arrow.

and maybe Sidney is also Jafar because at the end of Aladdin was that not who became the Genie since the blue Genie was set free…

Yep, Jafar wished to be a genie in the end. Can’t believe this is the first time I’ve seen it suggested that Sidney may have been Jafar, coz now that I think about it, it seems kinda obvious and would make perfect sense. I’d thought the Anastasia character sounded potentially Jasmine-ish, and if they were gonna do Aladdin’s story, they could show Sidney’s origin story as well.
