ParticipantMaybe Grimm & Co used to sneak back and forth between worlds, collecting stories, and Rumple busted them on one of their trips, and when he found out they came from a land without magic, that’s how he got the idea that Bae had come to our world. And maybe they struck some kinda deal with him where he made them promise to leave his REAL story out of the story they told about him, which is why we never knew the true extent of his power and the significant role he played in all the different tales. Maybe he wanted it that way because he didn’t want our world to know how truly powerful he was, once he got the idea to follow Bae here. And as the story progresses, Rumple and some ancestor of the writers will meet in our world and either work together, or against each other.
The more outlandish this theory gets, the more I like it. LOL 😉

Well yeah. That’s the second part of my theory. Which I actually like better, ’cause I don’t want the Grimm Brothers or Andersen or Perrault, etc appearing on the show.
Now that I’m thinking about it, they could have some fun with this idea. Maybe the famous fairytale writers of our world were all part of some secret society that knew how to jump between worlds, and that’s how they collected the stories and wrote them down and brought them back to our world? Maybe in future seasons, some of the characters decide they need to find a way back to FTL, so they go hunting down the ancestors of the Grimms etc, because they’re the only ones who know how to get there?

Maurice doesn’t strike me as being someone who doesn’t care about the welfare of his child. If he wasn’t willing to let Belle go with Rumple willingly, I seriously doubt he would be able to order his own daughter to be imprisoned. Even if Rumple explained himself for his behavior towards Maurice, I seriously doubt it would smooth things over with him or Belle.
As for Regina coming over to Maurice’s place and trying to convince him to hand over Belle because of being “corrupted,” I don’t think he’d buy it. Being the “Ruler” of a town, I think he’d have a better BS detector than Belle (I don’t think she took part in the day-to-day management of her town). If he had just got his daughter back from losing her once (from Rumple of all people), I doubt he would just hand her over to someone else.
WORD.
I’ve never even entertained the possibility that Maurice did anything to hurt his daughter. Regina just made the whole story up IMO. I think she already had Belle locked away when she went to tell Rumple that story. She knows Rumple can flit all over FTL at will, so it’d be too risky to have Belle roaming around where Rumple could find her and discover Regina had lied to him.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Moe had memories of losing his daughter, believing that she’d left town to run off with some guy. Once he remembers who he is, and his true history, and who Mr Gold is, I would imagine that he’ll assume Belle is still with him, (which she conveniently will be), and he’ll want to get her back.

ParticipantThere hasn’t been any more mention of his mother. Would be nice if they address what happened to her, but I’m not necessarily holding my breath. I’m just assuming that George has been too preoccupied by going after Charming, so hasn’t given his mother a second thought.

Aren’t you a little short for a storm trooper?
😆
The Huntsman’s ep just finished airing here in Australia and the ending still makes me sad. 🙁 But he shouldn’t be brought back in Storybrooke. Hopefully there’ll be some more opportunities to see him in FTL flashbacks, but he should stay dead in Storybrooke.

Plus, we still haven’t seen Snow use that whistle the huntsman made. That has to come back into play somewhere.
Maybe she’ll use it to call for help at some point during their quest to take back the kingdom.

ParticipantThanks for the link! I have a friend in Vancouver who I’ve visited the last couple of years and now we’re both big Once fans, so I told her if I ever get back there, we’re going stalking filming locations. 😉 Gonna bookmark this for future reference.

ParticipantReally awesome news! Can’t wait to see more of Belle in season two. Methinks there’ll be some juicy Rumbelle stuff in store. 😀

It’s the only deal he’s ever broken and even though we know he can break the curse with “True Love’s Kiss”, after centuries of living I don’t think he wants people like Regina to go unchecked. He wants to end all magic, eventually.
That’s been my theory through most of the first season. I really believed that ending magic was his ultimate goal with this curse. That’s why it threw me when he was so eagerly bringing it back in the finale. Guess this could just be another step in is plan though, and that is still part of the ending he wants.

We already know about at least one character in the pipeline: Ariel from The Little Mermaid. Exec producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz told EW in November that they had a “really exciting idea” for how to weave the rebellious sea maiden into their narrative, but that they weren’t sure whether they’d introduce her in season 1 or 2. I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for her and her dingle-hopper come fall — especially if, as rumored, she’s played by Privileged alum JoAnna Garcia.
There’s already been whispers about who’ll play Ariel? She’s the character I’m most looking forward to seeing this season.

ParticipantHappened to catch the end of “The Shepherd” on tv here tonight and seeing that scene again with MM and Dr Whale made me extra curious as to who he is.
My personal theory was that he was Regina’s minion when she became Ursula, (if that even happens), but I also kinda like a Gulliver theory that I’ve seen mentioned in a couple places.
From wikipedia:
According to Swift’s novel, Gulliver was born in Nottinghamshire c. 1661, where his father had a small estate; the Gulliver family is said to have originated in Oxfordshire, however. He studied for three years (c. 1675-1678) at Emmanuel College, Cambridge, leaving to become an apprentice to an eminent London surgeon; after four years (c. 1678-1682), he left to study at the University of Leiden, a prominent French medical school. He also educated himself in navigation and mathematics, leaving the University around 1685.
Not sure how they’d work in Gulliver being tied to EQ in FTL though, which I’m assuming they will be, because they appear to be close associates in SB too.
