ParticipantLooks like I’ll be retiring my Baelocchio the Wizard of Neverland signature pic now. 😆

Does Gold know that Henry thinks Storybrooke is populated with fairytale characters? I’m trying to think back on all the conversations about it and I can’t remember if Emma mentioned something to Gold or not. I don’t think Henry would say anything and Regina doesn’t seem like she would admit it to Gold that her son is trying to bring her down. Hmmmm….am I forgetting a conversation somewhere?
Don’t think we’ve seen it blatantly stated, but I’ve always assumed that Mr Gold knows that Henry believes.

ParticipantThanks for the link! Great interview. 😀 I’m so psyched for these last few eps!

I’m of the belief that FTL is no more, even more so after what the Blue Fairy said last week, “So you’d be willing to sacrifice this world for the next? Because that’s how great the price is.” The fact that not only the people, but also structures and items from FTL have ended up in Storybrooke has always made me think that FTL was destroyed by the curse, so I don’t think that breaking the curse will “transport” everyone back there.
Agreed. I’ve always thought that FTL was destroyed, and BF’s words in the last ep just confirmed that in my mind.
As for the battle between good and evil, who knows what form that will take. Hopefully there won’t be a Storybrooke massacre.

I think when he said that this world had no magic, he meant the rest of the world outside SB. SB looks like it operates as a world within a world. It’s a place founded on magic, within a world without magic. The entire situation seems contradictory doesn’t it? It has magic, even though it’s not supposed to.
That’s a pretty good description IMO.
Apart from the overall curse with the time stoppage and the trapping everyone in town stuff, Graham’s heart (wonder if Regina’s got any more stashed away in there) was the only thing to have retained any magic after the transition. Maybe it was the fact that Graham was still alive in SB that kept his heart “alive” as well.
The only other suggestion we’ve had of non-curse-specific magic existing is that Emma appears to have made a magical hat.

I don’t think the please is magical. I think that Regina could choose to not do what Rumpel says when he says please, she would be breaking the deal though and it would cause a consequence.
I’d always just figured it was something she was magically bound and compelled to do because of the curse. But it could very well be just the fact that she made that deal with him, so she’s keeping it, coz folks don’t get away with breaking deals they make with that guy.

ParticipantActually, I still haven’t heard anything about a start date. LOL But it must be getting closer if they’re doing promo like this now.

Bae crossed worlds not time. Blue Fairy mention a world without magic.
I’m not entirely convinced he ended up in our world, but for argument’s sake, let’s say he did. Just because you jump from one world to the next, that doesn’t necessarily mean that you land at the same place on the timeline.
Everyone jumped from FTL to our world, and they’ve been here for 28 years. But the fairytales they’re from have been known in our world for centuries. Emma knows they exist in the same way we know they exist, so the stories have been in the Once version of our world for just as long as they have been in our actual world.
So they couldn’t have merely jumped from one world to the next on the same timeline, they actually jumped forward over 200 years, (Grimm Brothers’ first publication was 200 years ago, and the stories existed before then). So using that as an example, if Bae did come to our world, he could have potentially landed at any point in time.

ParticipantThat one about the hospital bar cracked me up! Gotta love an Arrested Development shoutout! 😆 Now I kinda feel the urge to attach a Lucille Bluth quote to a screencap of every single scene of Regina’s. 😛

I don’t hear Morraine call her a “beast”…Morraine says she’s an “ancient being that rules the night…the original power”. I’m not sure what BF’s intentions are, but she did tell Bae that there was “good magic and bad magic” and she was on the right side..which is probably “good” magic.
“Good” can be a matter of perspective though. I think slurpeez’s summation of her motives in the post above mine is spot on.
No matter the situation, BF will always deem herself to be on the “right” side, but I don’t think that means she only uses “good” magic to ensure things play out the way they’re meant to. If she is indeed the original power, then she must be made of both light and dark.

Participantsteliokontos, that last post of yours needs to be hidden with spoiler tags!
Don’t you love it when you spend ages getting the wording just right in a post and then the page doesn’t load properly when you hit submit and you lose the whole thing. Grrrr, who wants custody of my stupid computer?
