ParticipantAlso, that scene where Hook got grabby which caused Emma to lash out with destructive magic was immediately followed by the scene where the Duke tried to get grabby with Ingrid and she lashed out with destructive magic. Which is, like, sort of an interesting placement for the scenes, no? And if they’re trying to portray the Duke as a creep…God I wish I knew what game they were playing at with how they’re writing the show these days.

ParticipantCan we play the “how it would have been different with Neal” game for this? Because I’m thinking he would have actually backed off when she clearly didn’t want to be grabbed at, because a) he’s respectful like that and 2) he knows how volatile magic can be.

ParticipantI may be going out on a limb here, but judging by the look on Rumple’s face and the “joy” doing said act would bring him. I believe the person who is in Rumple’s crosshair is the Blue Fairy.
Could well be. If he needs some hardcore magic, Blue’s his best bet, and he’s sorta hated her for centuries since she gave Bae the bean so he’d quite enjoy destroying her.
I can’t see Ingrid telling him he needs something that could be got from Emma, because she wants Emma for herself.
Spoilers do seem to suggest that Rumple might target Emma though?

ParticipantThose pics were the first thing I thought of when I saw the ribbons in 407. Guess that means Ingrid is at least partially successful?

ParticipantWhose voice is that saying “You have no idea the forces you are dealing with”?

ParticipantWell, I can see her reasoning in that the whole kingdom would potentially come unstuck if word got out that the heir to the throne killed her sister with uncontrollable ice magic, so it’s possibly better for the stability of their country to have everyone forget.
But taking away people’s memories against their will, even Gerda herself being willing to forget that she ever had sisters…that’s pretty harsh and extreme.
If the Duke hadn’t seen it happen they could have just concocted a cover story of how both sisters were killed in a tragic accident. Really, they only had to remove HIS memory of that moment, and as long as he hadn’t blabbed to anyone yet they could have covered it up.

ParticipantHighlight for me was them practically screaming “FAIL SAAAAFE” because LOST. And Rumple’s, “Pop the top and in you go,” gave me flashes of Juliet (EM’s character on LOST) being sucked down into that shaft to her doom, (which made me sad because that scene was traumatic, but I do appreciate the shoutout).
Worst part was the retconning. Ella’s kid isn’t old enough (did she ever refer to Alex as a “he”? The baby did look more like a boy than a girl though), and Will apparently hung out with Robin and Marian for a great length of time. Well alrighty then, who needs to stick to previously established canon facts?
Close runners up for worst part is what they’re doing to both Robin and Rumple.

Participanthow do you tweet it to adam? id tweet it just to get it out to more people ha
When Friday rolls around he’ll tweet to ask for submissions for #OnceFanArtFriday, so just send him a tweet with the pic attached, (there’s a link to add a photo when you go to write a tweet). (And while you’re at it add the #SwanFire hashtag to it too, and maybe even @ reply it to MRJ and JMo as well for good measure, that might get more people to see it).

ParticipantI’d kinda like that. We’re way overdue for some Sneaky Blue.
In other news, I just felt compelled to send a pro-Marian tweet to Christie Laing after seeing obnoxious anti-Marian crap in her @ replies. What is wrong with people that they’ll tweet an actor that they “HATE” their character and hope to never see them on the show again? Really?

Truth! They even had the bubba in a little onesie with her name on it and it was super cute and not at all offensive. And 4 eps later they’re still not done with showing how Sara’s death is affecting people as they continue to deal with it. I really liked her character, I don’t like that she died, but I can accept it because it’s part of (dare I say) some bold story telling, and she’s still treated like a character that matters even though she’s no longer there.
