ParticipantThey won’t kill off Belle, she’s a Disney princess. At worst she’d be shoved off-screen.
I don’t see them killing off Rumple permanently. Rumple is one of the main attractions of the show and RC is their biggest name star.

ParticipantLily would have to be a couple of months older than Emma.
And this is probably around summer 1999, given that they’re going camping. Emma is about 15, but it’s still over a year before she meets Neal. (That would have been late 2000, early 2001, depending on how long they were together. She turns 18 in October 2001, and around then is when Henry is born.)
I only question because Lily was living with her boyfriend which means she was probably sleeping with him. It was his idea to commit armed robbery which suggests he’s not exactly a stand up guy so the likelihood that he wouldn’t be sleeping with Lily is unlikely however, considering Lily would only be 16 at most, isn’t that illegal in US?

ParticipantThere is a merry-go-round that when ridden backwards turns back time for the rider…and if it is ridden forewards for too long it will kill.
Isn’t that out the Thief Lord?

ParticipantThis episode was a bit meh for me so there isn’t really much that stands out. At least it’s better than Heart of Gold.
Liked:
The RumBelle portion- I liked that Rumple’s focus this episode seemed to be on getting Belle’s heart back rather than any other scheme. I liked that he and Will worked together for the good of Belle. I liked that Rumple put what he believes to be Belle’s happiness before his own which in turn gives me hope for a RumBelle reunion.
Lily- Agnes seems alright in the role and the flashbacks were well acted from the two young actresses. Slightly confused on young Emma and Lily’s ages. Emma’s only 16, is Lily older? Also this flashback takes place not long before Emma meets Neal.
Mixed:
Regina being the “good cop” to Emma’s “bad cop”- It kind of bugged in the way that being a full blown hero doesn’t suit Regina but the writers are trying to shoehorn her into that role whereas anti-hero would be more fitting. Then when Regina does something less than stellar, it’s not acknowledged as such, it’s just swept under the rug because Regina’s a hero now.
Disliked:
Regina’s line “I’ve just lost my leverage over Gold”- This line really bugged me because of the Belle factor. Belle is a person, an actual living, breathing, feeling person….and Regina trivialises what she actually did (stealing Belle’s heart) by reducing Belle to nothing more than “leverage”. It’s belittling to Belle. Regina acknowledges everyone else, including those she has negative history with (Rumple, Snowing, Emma, Hook), around her as people (even if she doesn’t like them) but Belle is just “leverage”. It’s almost as if Regina is singling Belle out and dare I say it, Regina’s behaviour and attitude towards Belle has shades of bullying.
Lily just taking the girl- It’s abduction! Where were the girl’s parent(s)? What if they turned up ready to collect their child whilst Lily was walking her around the block? Considering there may be children watching this, it sort of sends a bad message “Just go with the stranger who you may have seen around because they offer you free food”. It’s also a parents worse fear to have your child go missing no matter how short a time.
Zelena being pregnant- I correctly guessed this would happen so yay for that but it is so obviously just another obstacle for OQ and the implications for how it came about are rather unsavoury. At best Zelena took advantage of Robin, at worst it’s rape, but no doubt that will be skimmed over.
Robin- Robin is a bit of a plank to put it politely, a very frustrating plank. The supposed love of his life, who he cheated on his “wife” with, who did all she could to keep “Marian” alive in 4A, shows up to warn him that “Marian” was really Zelena, and he accuses her of being jealous and trying to split him and Marian up? Robin, mate, if Regina wanted to split you and Marian up, she only needed to let her die in 4A, she wouldn’t have encouraged you to be with your wife whilst you kept pursuing her despite her protests. You’ve flip flopped more times than a fish out of water and continuously hide behind your “code of honour” which you only abide by when it suits you. You finally get the chance to be with Regina guilt-free but once again you’re using your code as an excuse not to be with her. Man up and grow a pair!

ParticipantMaybe the potential seeps from Lily to Emma every time they interact?
Hence “things are brighter” for Lily when they’re together, but the opposite for Emma.
Interesting theory, like the darkness that was put into Lily is trying to return to its rightful body?

ParticipantPlus, Swanfire was never an official couple, Rumbelle is.
SwanFire were an official couple in the past, how else would Henry have been born?

ParticipantThe thing with RUmple’s heart won’t kill him though, at least not whilst he’s in Storybrooke or a land of magic he can access. His heart going completely black would mean he’d be unable to feel love which he likens to a kind of death rather than it being actual death.

ParticipantAlso, I’m thinking Zelena’s ‘pregnancy’ is s misdirection. The real twist and reason for the 6-week time jump is that Regina, rather than Zelena, will really be pregnant with Robin’s child.
I doubt it. If Zelena knew she was “pregnant” when timelinewise she would’ve conceived after Regina then Regina should know if she was pregnant or not by now. Also Regina’s displayed no symptoms of pregnancy and there haven’t been any hints that Regina is pregnant.
I can’t quite believe they actually made OQ WORSE than it was before. Surely Regina won’t accept Robin when he inevitably comes crawling back? Regina’s got self-respect.

ParticipantI don’t think this is the end for RumBelle. I don’t think they’ll officially be back together until at least season 5 at the earliest, but they’ll be working towards a reconciliation.
As RG said, I believe this episode signalled the beginning of the end of ScarlettBeauty. If the writers wanted ScarlettBeauty to last, they would’ve taken the time to flesh it out. It’s merely an obstacle for RumBelle.

ParticipantSo I reckon it’d make more sense for Zelena to plan to have ALL the sex with Robin that she could, in order to get herself pregnant.
Whilst Zelarian and Robin were getting it on, where was Roland? Neal’s apartment is only one bedroom.
Zelena might actually be pregnant because she’d obviously told Robin before Regina got there. However, on the other hand, she could have lied to Robin because she knew Regina was on her way.
This episode sank OQ completely in my mind. Regina, the supposed love of Robin’s life, turns up and says Marian is really Zelena and Robin accuses her of lying as if Regina was jealous and was saying anything to split Robin and Marian up? The woman who actually did what she could to save “Marian” in 4A? Seriously? Regina needs to kick Robin to the curb because if Regina accepts him when Robin inevitably comes crawling back then she is not the smart sassy woman we were introduced to in season 1.
