ParticipantI wonder if Emma is going to start doing the wrong things for the right reasons. For example, when Regina took the lost boy’s heart to talk to Henry in Neverland. Regina was the “villain” so that Emma and Snow wouldn’t have to be. I wonder if Emma is going to be the “villain” so that Regina doesn’t have to be. It’s a weird heroic sacrifice of being a “villain” so that the others can remain “heroes”.

ParticipantDay 7- Favourite Male Recurring Character (Past or Present)
Felix- I liked his character and wished we had gotten more on him but he’s just part of the long list of Neverland unanswered questions. I felt sorry for him when Pan killed him because he was Pan’s loyal friend, being the only one to stay on Pan’s side despite there not being any benefit in doing so, and Pan repaid him by crushing his heart. What I think is most interesting though is that, whilst it’s easy to say that Pan was manipulative and only using Felix, Pan must’ve felt some sort of genuine care and affection for Felix in order for Felix to qualify as the thing that Pan loved most.

Anna
I choose Anna because she was too much of a copy and paste from the Anna from Frozen, the actress did really well with what she had to do but tonally she didn’t fit OUAT. Whilst it’s nice for the Once versions to have traits in common with their Disney counterparts, I don’t want the actual Disney version in the Onceverse which is what Anna was. The main thing that bugged me about Once’s Anna is how they Mary-Sued her into Charming and Belle’s backstories. Charming and Belle were great standing on their own two feet, they didn’t need Anna to “help” them. I don’t need Charming to be brave because he met Anna, I don’t need Belle to want to be a hero because she met Anna. Anna can sod off!

ParticipantZelena had the realm-traveling silver slippers that Walsh gave her, so it’s possible Zelena could’ve traveled several times between Oz and the Enchanted Forest with great ease. It’s possible she did have a go at Regina, but that the attempt failed, because of something Rumple did. The reason Zelena wasn’t sucked up by the first curse is probably because she just clicked her heals together and went back to Oz.
If this is the case then that means the new Zelena flashbacks would have to take place before Kansas where Zelena got her pendant and gave the slippers to Dorothy to get her out of Oz.

Granny
I choose Granny because she’s such a kickbutt despite being an older woman. She may knit but she also runs her own businesses and is handy with a crossbow. She’s loyal and fiercely protective of her loved ones. It’s a shame that time constraints have reduced Granny to a glorified extra now. Also, Granny can run and keep up with characters who are half her age.

ParticipantBex filmed a (flashback) scene with Christie today. And Jmo, Colin and Jared also filmed a scene together. http://captaincronut.tumblr.com/post/110038477148
Sooooo Zelena and and Marian together…. I have no idea what the hell is going on.
Maybe Zelena was the one who got Marian sick during/before her pregnancy? But what does she have against Marian or Robin?
I’m trying to work out when this flashback takes place. We know Zelena turned green in “It’s not easy being green where she then went to OZ. Kansas then had Zelena be accepted by Glinda and get her pendant. In those BTS pics, Zelena is not wearing her pendant but she couldn’t take the pendant off once she got it otherwise she would be stripped of her powers.
If Zelena was in the EF before the curse was cast, why didn’t she try anything before? If this is after the curse was cast, why isn’t she wearing her pendant?
We know Belle was at the dark castle before Snowing met and we know Marian was heavily pregnant in Lacey which was Belle’s first week at the dark castle.
Since Marian isn’t pregnant in these flashbacks (or if she is, she’s in the very early stages), these flashbacks must take place pre-Lacey.
INEBG involves young Regina being taught by Rumple whereas Fruit of the Poisonous tree involves and adult Regina and a young adult Snow pre-meeting Snowing so at least 8 years have passed between INEBG and FOTPT. What on earth has Zelena been doing all this time? How could she be in the EF pre-curse and not have a go at Regina or be taken by the curse?

ParticipantDay 4- Least Favourite Male Regular Character (Past or Present)
Hook
I choose Hook because he has been the most divisive character for me. I hated him in season 2, started to warm up to him in season 3, but I’ve started to go off of him again in season 4. I just don’t like when he antagonises Rumple then cries foul when Rumple gets the better of him. If you’re going to play with fire, you should expect to get your fingers burnt.

ParticipantI’m looking forward to 4B. It seems more focussed around the main cast which was lacking in 4A. I think Once might be getting some of its form back.

ParticipantDay 3- Favourite Male Regular Character (Past or Present): Rumple.
I choose Rumple because he has been one of my favourites from the start. He’s complicated and multi-layered and is probably one of the most human characters on the show despite being “the dark one”. Rumple screws up constantly, he wants to be a good man but often gives into his fear. He was a devoted father to Baelfire and just wanted to make things up with his son after letting him go through the portal alone in a moment of fear. Rumple always had a good reason for doing something, even if his methods of achieving that goal weren’t above board. I’m still rooting for Rumple after season 4A because his whole motivation for wanting to be free from the dagger is sympathetic. It’s his methods that crossed into the morally grey area. The main issue with season 4 when it came to Rumple is that the writing did not accurately project why Rumple was so focussed on the hat. The writing made it seem Rumple wanted “power” when really he only wanted “freedom” and the ability to protect his loved ones from the numerous threats that keep befalling Storybrooke.
