Do you think showing Neal in the opening scene of Broken kind of gave away that he was Baelfire? Would it have been more surprising if we’d only seen Neal in the Tallahassee flashbacks then it was revealed he was Baelfire in Manhattan?
So I was thinking about Hook’s motto earlier “A man unwilling to fight for what he wants, deserves what he gets” and the context it was used in- if Rumple didn’t fight for Milah then he wouldn’t get her back. It occurred to me that line of thinking is very flawed because it completely ignores the third person and their wishes in the equation which is Milah. Hook makes it sound like: Rumple fights and wins = Milah returns home. However, we know Milah left Rumple willingly because she didn’t love him therefore Rumple fights and wins does NOT = Milah returns home because Milah doesn’t want to go back with Rumple.
The writers have seemed to have applied that frame of mind to Hook’s pursuit of Emma. Hook wants Emma + Hook “fights” for Emma = Hook gets Emma. At no point does that take Emma’s opinion into account. Emma was literally the prize to be won.
When Neal said in Neverland to Emma that he would “never stop fighting” for her, a lot people had the reaction “never stop fighting? when did he start?” The thing is though, Neal shouldn’t have been fighting for her in the first place, neither should Hook. The lighter scene, as stupid as it was, is actually an accurate representation of this mind set. Two grown men are “fighting for” Emma because they see her as a prize rather than an actual person with their own thoughts and feelings. When Emma called them both out on it, Neal had the decency to realise his mistake and back off whilst Hook proceeded with his “When I win your heart” spiel.
How can CaptainSwan possibly be “true love” when they don’t even really know each other that well? Hook has had to “fight” for Emma to even give him the time of day, he’s had to “fight” for her to admit she has feelings for him, he had to “fight” for her to acknowledge them as a proper couple (In fact that could be why, when Henry was under the shattered sight spell and said he never like Hook, why Hook was so focussed on Emma saying they were “together”. It was recognition that he had won that “fight”). I predict that Hook’s next “fight for Emma” is going to be about increasing intimacy and “tacos”. As Hook himself admitted on the beanstalk, he likes “a challenge”. Emma hasn’t slept with Hook yet, she’s a challenge to him, and he won’t be satisfied until he’s bedded her, only then would he have truly “won”.

Perhaps Cruella is Snow’s unknown half sister from Eva? It would make Eva look really hypocritical after what she did to Cora but it would add fuel to the fire of why Cora hated Eva so much.
