Gold and Lacey were up and running around Storybrooke at 6AM in the morning in Second Star to the Right. Whale may have been on his way to the hospital for an early shift hence why he was up at that time, but why Gold and Lacey?

Snow: Hey, we’ve got the whole apartment to ourselves.

    Charming: What are you thinking?

    Snow: Roleplay?

Snow: Let me just get my cardigan on then I’ll be ready.

Snow: Oh Sheriff, is this strip search really necessary?
Charming: Yes Miss. Just let me pat you down, make sure you’re not concealing any hidden weaponry.

    Regina: Umm……..am I interrupting?

Snow: Regina! How long have you been stood there?
Charming: I’d like to see you in handcuffs.

Regina: I’m not entirely sure how to respond to that bit of information.

Charming: Oh God! Did you think I meant……..I didn’t mean it like that! You’re the last woman I would want handcuffed to my bed!

Regina: I don’t know whether to be insulted or relieved.

Charming: I’m not saying you’re not an attractive woman, you are, I’m just…….I’m not making this situation any better, am I?
    Snow: Charming, just shut up.

Regina: Maybe I should just leave. Tell Henry I’ll come back later.

    Snow: That was embarassing!
    Charming: You’re telling me.

Charming: We didn’t even tell her Henry wasn’t here so when she comes back, we’re gonna have this awkward situation all over again.

Charming: Hey, want to go and annoy Hook?

    Snow: Meh, why not?

Was Rumple babysitting Henry? The Charmings came to find him to tell him about Neal and Henry was told at the same time. It wouldn’t make sense for the Charmings to drag Henry out to where Gold was to then tell him about Neal when they could’ve told him at home.

This is not going to end well for Tamara. She’s going to have Rumple after her for killing Neal after she kidnaps Henry, Regina after her for kidnapping Henry, the Charmings after her for kidnapping Henry, Emma after her for kidnapping Henry and killing Neal, and probably the home office after her and Greg for failing to destroy Storybrooke (I think Storybrooke survives which is why GOAT take Henry as a last resort). I think she’s going to kill Greg especially if he starts showing a soft spot towards Henry.

    Perhaps a mermaid gets her?

Ok. Thinking about things. If it’s NOT TLK that brings Belle back, then I want it to be Henry. I don’t know how, but Henry’s got to get to Grandpastiltskin SOMEHOW and that’s going to be a lot stronger than even being Bae’s son, considering the prophecy.

Yes. How DOES the prophecy figure into all this, now that we have a few sneak peeks? Rumple has given up on everything and seems content to die, meaning that the prophecy in which Henry is his undoing doesn’t mean anything as Rumple is ready to die.

I wonder if we are going to see the true meaning of Henry being Rumple’s undoing before the season ends or if that will still be up in the air.

I think we will see it this episode. They set it up back in episode 14 and to keep us waiting over the summer seems a bit cruel. I think it will mostly resolve itself this episode.

Didn’t E and A say at Paleyfest that Rumple’s undoing doesn’t necessarily mean a bad thing? Henry is now Rumple’s last link with Bae. What if Rumple is spurred into action by the news that GOAT have kidnapped Henry. Tamara took Bae from him, she sure as Hell isn’t going to take Henry too. That kind of thing.

The curse of the mermaids is an interesting way to put it. I think that if the mermaids were evil then Hook would have said the wrath of the mermaids or something of the like. It sounds like the mermaids themselves are cursed somehow and could and would have spread it to Bae. Maybe Ariel will break the curse so all of the mermaids can be human too? I don’t know but I am so geared up for this episode that I can’t hardly stand it.

I think Hook meant “curse” as in the mermaids are a curse upon the land/sea. They’re evil creatures that have probably devoured many a sailor. The mermaids are presented as dark creatures in the Peter Pan film starring Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy from Harry Potter). When Wendy calls the mermaids “sweet”, Peter tells her that they’ll “sweetly drown” her.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DA_UubjXWi0 In the Disney version, one of the mermaids says about Wendy “We were only trying to drown her” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YnFABHlw-U8

If the mermaids are generally “dark” creatures, then it makes sense that Rumple could retrieve the squid ink without any harm befalling him because he is “the dark one”.

Can we please discuss this curse of the mermaids that Hook saved Baelfire from? These must be vicious mermaids after all, like the ones who drown sailors in POTC 4.

It would make sense for them to be vicious, and gives Ariel a more reasonable motivation for not wanting to be a mermaid any more. Not wanting to kill even though it’s in her “nature” would make Ariel an outcast amongst the other mermaids. Disney’s Ariel is often criticised for giving up her mermaid life and family for the sake of a man.

Hook totally sussed out who Bae was when he said his father was a “coward”. So Bae believed his mother was murdered by a pirate which is what Rumple probably told him after his first encounter with Hook on the ship. What did Hook say that made Bae be part of his crew? Has Hook told Bae how Milah really died or did he just tell him “a crocodile” killed her?

I wonder how Bae is going to respond to Belle. He heard Rumple’s phone conversation with Belle in Miller’s Daughter, and was moved by it, yet when he met Belle in person she was Lacey. If first impressions are important, then Lacey/Belle hasn’t made a good one.

Whoever stabs the dark one with the dagger becomes the new dark one. I don’t think Rumple can kill himself with the dagger because when he stabs himself the magic is going to flow out and then right back in again. Also Zoso wanted to die. If killing himself with the dagger was a realistic option, I think he would’ve tried it rather than tricking Rumple into becoming the new dark one.
