Rumple: Why does this picnic basket seem like a bribe?

Belle: It’s not a bribe, but if you’d like to agree to us getting a dog, that would be great.

Emma: Rumplestiltskin, we want to talk to you!

Belle: Why is Charming and his family here?
Rumple: No idea, but something tells me we’re about to find out.

    Rumple: What do you want?
Emma: We’re here to discuss the terms of your friendship with my father.

    Rumple: You are joking?

Rumple: Why can’t you people just leave me alone? I thought the sleeping curse would’ve been enough of a hint.

Belle: Rumple doesn’t want to be Charming’s friend.

Emma: Hey, Belle, nobody asked for your opinion.

Belle: Nobody asked any of you here either but you came anyway.

Charming: Ladies, ladies, there’s no need to fight, especially over little old me.
    Snow: Shut up, Charming!

Emma: Our terms are quite clear. My father can spend time with you so long as you look after him and don’t upset him or use magic on him in any way. You’re also not to manipulate him or involve him in any schemes you may have. Regina is not allowed near him, especially if she has pens. These are our conditions, do you agree?

Rumple: So Charming is only allowed to hang out with me if I accept your conditions?

    Snow: That is correct.

    Rumple: I reject them all.

What we have to remember about Rumple is that, at his core, he was a parent looking for his child. What parent wouldn’t move Heaven and Hell to be reunited with their lost child? Yes the way Rumple went about it was wrong, and he knows that, and if there was an easier way Rumple would have taken it. Rumple didn’t directly jump into creating the curse. He threw the idea around as a possibility but he wanted to try other methods first, the magic bean from Smee and the ruby slippers being two we know about so far. The curse was a last resort.

There is such a difference between Rumple in his early days as the dark one and later on. He went over board with power in the early days, like a new addict experiencing their first few highs, and he paid the price for that, he lost Bae. He was less kill happy in his later days.

Rumple knows he has done wrong. Snow asked him how he lives with himself after everything he did and he gives her an honest answer. Rumple may not choose to dwell on everything he’s done wrong but that doesn’t mean he’s not aware of it all.

It is possible Regina would have cast the curse anyway, even without Rumple’s manipulations behind the scenes. The prophesies have a way of course correcting. Rumple’s involvement in Regina’s life probably made the curse happen sooner rather than later but it would have happened either way.

I hope Neal isn’t Pan otherwise it sort of limits the directions the character can go. Relationship wise Pan is linked with either Wendy, Tinkerbell or Tiger Lily. If Neal is not Pan then his character can go in any direction.

Perhaps the audience will be lead to believe that Neal is Peter Pan right up to the end of the finale where maybe he is caught by the Lost Boys and taken to their leader. Neal would then say “Hello Peter” then the credits roll.

Tamara might not know much more of the story than she’s already let on, but in that case she’s taking orders from someone who does. She very conspicuously showed August her big wad of cash, then deliberately left her bag on the bar for no apparent reason and asked him to watch over it. Nobody does that, especially nobody who needs that money in order to stay alive. It was a setup, a sting. I’m thinking Tamara must be from an organization similar to the god-hunters on The Almighty Johnsons.

That is a very interesting theory. What if Tamara was recruited because of what ever happened to her grandmother? As M said to Bond in Skyfall “Orphans make the best recruits”.

What if Tamara’s grandmother wasn’t her real grandmother at all but someone Tamara, as a child, was lead to believe was her grandmother. Her “grandmother” could have been Tamara’s trainer then when Tamara’s grandmother “died”, Tamara would have been ready to carry out the organisation’s agenda especially if magic was somehow involved in her “grandmother’s death”.

Interestingly, Neal has not invited Tamara to the celebrations. Considering she’s his fiancee, you would think he would have wanted her to attend the family occasion.

I agree. I don’t think Rumple is doing anything nefarious with that wand. However, the fact that Tamara isn’t there and that Rumple is using that wand is interesting. I think she may see him using it and if she really is the daughter of Cinderella’s godmother, seeing that wand would make her target Rumple which could be a way of setting up the finale.

I hope not otherwise poor Rumple just can’t catch a break. First Hook then Tamara. I still think Tamara is going to be one of the big bads of season 3 so I don’t reckon she’s going to blatantly target Rumple this season.

Greg doesn’t know what has happened to his father beyond Regina arresting him when Owen was a kid. Greg has returned to Storybrooke to find his father. He has no interest in the magic unlike Tamara. Greg was amazed at all the magic that was happening so I doubt he wants to destroy it. I don’t think Greg is in the army or CIA. He’s just an average Joe looking for his father.

I’d ship that, I’d pretty much ship anything involving him… *said the Tom Ellis fan* 😆 But I think LaceHood makes a bigger chance, and even then…. Lacey seems to flirt with Keith. We haven’t seen Robin in SB and the brief says that Rumpel wants to KILL Robin, and sets out to do so iwth Belle at his side (seeing their love develops after this I don’t think it’s likely he succeeds, but still) I don’t think Tom Ellis has that much room in his schedule to become a regular. When the shooting starts for next season (I’m guessing autumn 2013) he needs to be in the UK to play Gary in Miranda, and he is doing Gothika right now too. I’m guessing once that’s done, he wants to go home to his wife and kids.
My guess would be that Robin is a one time role, if anyone is gonna come back it’s the Keith character, and that will be to drive the Rumbelle apart, something Hook obviously can’t do… Rumpel would turn him into fishsticks before he even got close..

I thought Miranda had finished completely because Miranda Hart didn’t want to do it anymore?

Robin being alive and in Storybrooke doesn’t mean he’d have to become a regular. Cinderella was only in 2 episodes and she’s still alive and well. Just knowing Robin is around in Storybrooke will have people shipping him with various characters. I hope Belle gets her memory back at the end of this episode.
