ParticipantIsn’t Oz and Neverland suppose to come into play at some point? (Though Neverland is likely to be in Hook’s flashback). All of a sudden magic beans are being grown which can travel between worlds. Coincidence? I think not.

* Jack herself was not a very interesting person, though that is due to there not being much shown about her. She was greedy and callous, but not much else goes to development with her, which is a shame given the built-up to her with some of the released pictures of her.
I’m guessing we’ll see more of her in at least one future ep. They didn’t drop the bomb about her having slayed the Jabberwock just for the helluvit. There’s a story there waiting to be told.
Sorry but I disagree… I think there are statements made that we are suppose to take at FACE VALUE… If it is said it is to establish character …. I do not think they are going to go back and show the rest of the story… they did this with Cinderella, Hansel and Gretal, Lancelot the Mad Hatter. They bring these characters here to bounce the rest of the SNOW, PC, EMMA , HENRY, REGINA and Gold Belle stories off of … to make a point… to flesh out the episodes and the main arch…. I do not think all statements / stories presented or talked about will be investigated further.I also think part of the problem is that once an actor/ actress shows up on OUAT … they become a hot commodity and get signed up for other acting jobs. OUAT has a hard time keeping their characters available.

I don’t think we’ll see Jack again. We saw her skeleton in Tallahassee, now we’ve seen her before she became the skeleton. Her killing the Jabberwock will be mentioned again rather than shown, in my opinion, perhaps in a flashback of another Character possibly Jefferson because we haven’t found out what happened to his wife yet.

ParticipantI watched the first 3 seasons of Lost but I didn’t think the references were over the top. To be honest I didn’t even notice them until they were pointed out. Obviously because Lost was such a big thing and OUAT is done by the same people, there is going to be references but so long as it’s not so in your face, I don’t see a problem. For example, the 42 minutes until landing, yes 42 is a Lost number but it doesn’t shout LOST REFERENCE!!!!!! at the top of its voice.

ParticipantI think he knew he wouldn’t have magic outside of Stroybrooke hence why he brought Belle back over the town line before he attempted to throw the fireball at Hook. In the bathroom, I think he was so used to healing himself with magic, that it almost became second nature, and the fact that it doesn’t work was a sharp reminder that he has no control over the situation. He was antsy before he entered the bathroom, he’s trying to hold it together, and the fact he injured himself by punching something signifies that the cracks are starting to show in his facade. It makes you wonder how many other times Rumple has done something like that and then just healed himself?

I didn’t really like Belles sceen with Ruby, Ruby knows that Belle isn’t imagening the fireball and pretty much everybody who hears her is going to know that she’s not crazy but they’re still druging her!?. Poor girl seems to be right back where she started. Poor Belle.
I think this scene could set up a few future scenarios:
1. Belle bonding with Henry (especially if Rumple is his grandfather). Both Henry and Belle have been made to feel like they are crazy by someone who supposedly cared for them. Henry by Regina and Belle by Ruby.
2. It puts some tension into the Belle and Ruby friendship. When Belle remembers, she’s going to know that Ruby let her think she was crazy rather than telling the truth. Belle is much calmer in this episode than In the name of the brother, she knows she saw magic (Rumple even told her he used magic) but she wants someone to confirm that she did actually see what she saw which is what Greg did. Ruby as her “friend” should have done that. Not forgetting, Ruby also chained Belle up in the library. It is almost as if Ruby is making choices for Belle which we know Belle hates.
My favourite moments are all the Rumple moments, especially his quip about David hunting him down in his animal rescue van .
The rest of the episode was okay but I was more interested in what was happening with Rumple, Emma and Henry than what was happening in Storybrooke or Fairytale Land past.
My least favourite moment was probably Snow telling Regina that Emma didn’t have to run anything by her. Regina was Henry’s mother for the first 10 years of his life, she at least deserved to know what was going on. Fair enough they couldn’t find her to tell her but they could have at least said “We tried to call you to tell you, but with Cora in town, we decided it would be safer for Henry to be out of Storybrooke for a while” rather than Snow saying what she did.

ParticipantI think Snow meant it figuratively but it is the classic nature vs nurture debate.
Two twin boys, from the same mother and father, sepearated at birth.
David remains with his parents whilst James is given to a king.
David lives on a farm which is struggling to survive and learns the value of hard work.
James lives in a castle which was probably doing reasonably well at the time, had servants and what he wants he gets.
David likely learnt the value of other people, the benefits of working together, the different skills people possess, more hands make less work, etc.
James likely learnt that people are expendable. There is always someone else willing to do what another person won’t, people are only valued by their usefulness, etc. George described Jack as another “dalliance” for James, so long as she was offering what James wanted she was useful but when she needed James to help her, he discarded her. (Makes you wonder what sort of life Abigail would’ve had if she’d had to marry the real prince James).
