ParticipantI think it’s to show which son is the favourite. Victor’s younger brother gets a family heirloom which has been handed down throughout the generations. Normally the eldest child gets the heirloom so to give it to Victor’s brother is basically a kick in the teeth to Victor. Victor being given a commission basically means he’s being sent away.

ParticipantHow heartbreaking would it be if Belle calls Rumple a monster especially after all the times she’s told him that he isn’t one.
In her new memory less state, the first thing Belle saw Rumple do was about to send a fire ball at Hook with Hook telling Rumple to do his worst and Rumple’s reply of “I intend to”. Rumple is already at a disadvantage.

ParticipantPerhaps Rumple’s been drinking trying to forget his pain so he’s not thinking clearly when Cora enters.

ParticipantI think Greg was at fault, he seemed to be driving too fast especially if it was a dark unlit road.

ParticipantPerhaps Hook joins the Charmings for his own protection? Maybe that is why Rumple joins forces with Cora. Cora may feel that Hook has betrayed her, Rumple isn’t going to be happy that the Charmings are protecting the guy who hurt Belle. The enemy of my enemy is my friend and all that.

And this is completely off topic, but I was wondering..do you think that Rumple actually loved Milah? Because I don’t know if his anger at Hook is because he (in his eyes) took Milah away from his son, or took his wife that he loved. 😕
I think Rumple was more angry that Hook took Milah away from Bae. Rumple considered himself unlovable so Milah leaving him was probably to be expected. However, her leaving Bae was unforgivable. Rumple always brings up Bae and how Milah left him whenever Milah comes up in conversation.

ParticipantHook is not going to die.
Angels implies there is a Heaven and Hell and if Hook did die, he’d be heading downstairs not up.

ParticipantI agree that not all the Storybrooke personalities were completely opposite of their fairytale selves. Snow and Charming as David and Mary Margaret were probably the most opposite because Regina had a grudge against them.
Leroy was still grumpy. If he was opposite he should have been more like dreamy.
Archie was the town psychiatrist. It was his job to help people just like Jiminy as a conscience.
Mr Gold was still feared by everybody just like Rumple was. If he was opposite he should have been a priest or some other sort of do gooder. The dark one as a do gooder would definitely be an opposite. Also Mr Gold hated the nuns just like Rumple hated the fairies. It could be that some personality traits and some emotions such as true love are so deeply ingrained into each person’s identity that even the dark curse couldn’t get rid of them completely.
Anyway wasn’t there an interview or something that said that MM was basically what Snow would have been like had she not had to fend for herself in the wild and had continued with her princess life?

ParticipantThe dark one essence seems to flow from the dark one into the knife then into the person who stabbed the dark one. If the dark one tried to stab himself then the essence is just flowing into the knife then back into the dark one.

ParticipantYou would think so but she doesn’t appear to recognise Rumple but she could just be freaking out because she saw him about to throw a fireball at Hook.
