On a normal show, i would agree. Ouat is not a normal show. There is no rhyme or reason to the writing. I think that too many things outside of the show have to happen for Neal to come back. MRJ’s new show would have to get cancelled. He would have to want to come back. The show would have to want him to be back. I really do think that at this point they have made their choices and are going to stick with them. I am pretty sure Eddy said something like that in an interview. I don’t think he will be back, but not because the writing can’t allow it. The writing allows anything. Neal being killed proves that. If they will do that, they would do anything. Zelena being Marian and pregnant with Robins baby. If they will do that, they will do anything. This is not a good thing, but it’s the truth. They could easily just write him back in. It doesn’t have to make sense.
Yes, there are many things they can do but they dont want to. About Neal, yeah, see there is already a Neal on the show that is Snowing Son, the only way MRj could appear as Neal would be in flashback, which wont happen, so any full time job, doesnt even requires MRJ, they can bring young Bae and let Rumple and Belle raise him, and he would not have memories, so no problem to Cs and he could bond with Henry paralleling S3B when he didnt remenber Neal, so yeah, if they want to bring Bae, they dont even need MRJ unless for one small scene to de age him, but u see, that would have to be done on this arc, not in any other arc, but that wont happen, and even tho this option is not from my like, if would mean people would leave MRJ in peace and stop wishing that he doesnt get other jobs, so that he can return to ouat and at same time would give Bae another chance, so do it.

Neal could just not be dead quite easily. They left his body in the forest with Zelena. He could just not be dead. I understand what you are saying about MRJ being in another show, but if his show was cancelled then he could just be alive on Ouat. If Zelena can suddenly be alive again and pretending to be Marian for half a season then Neal can just be alive too.
They could , but lets see the facts, he was burried, Zelena wasnt and before people mention archie, lets not forget that archie being alive was shown on that same episode, in order to let GA know that he was alive. Zelena had nothing to link her there and she wanted revenge on Regina and she had magic, Neal had no magic, had a son and father( wont mention emma) and he didnt want revenge, so he had no reason to appear almost a year after like nothing happened and he was just on a holiday and if is true that composer thing that sets that Neal is dead. Also if he wasnt dead and was being captive, he would be dead by now with no water and food. The thing is the writers didnt knew what to do with him and didnt care about him, so yeah, no Neal, especially bc the writers only see ships, so for them Neal is someone that can get bwt Cs.
Also, why people keep wanting GoS to fail and MRJ back at OUAT, people should be saying even if GOS gets cancelled, MRJ deserves something better and i wish him luck, people should be wanting the cast to get free from this show.
This is not GoS vs OUAT, Gos is not the thing that is in the middle of MRJ going back to ouat. The show simply doesnt want him back and to tell u the true i doubt he would want to go back at all, especially full time. Lets not forget that MRJ did 2 works for Disney after ouat, Sons of liberty on history( owned 50% by abc/disney) and finest hours, if they wanted him back, they could after all these projects bond him again to ouat, but they didnt. MRJ looked for Gos bc thought was good and didnt have any other job, so he looked for that one.

and this would maybe somehow bring Neal back in the long run.
There is no bringing neal long run not on S4, where according to people that saw he was only mentioned on CS scenes on 1st episodes and then at the end to say there was no way to bring back neal, like there is no way to bring back Neal in S5 long run, bc he is in another show, show that only premieres in 7th april, OUAt ends filming 1st of April and after this there is no more UW, they cant bring Neal back after this arc, and since MRJ is in another project that by the end of filming, they still dont know if will have a 2nd season and because GOS ends the S1 in june, MRj cant commite with any other show, until NBC says yes or no to a S2, decision that may come only in June, so no Neal back at least alive on S5 or any other season.

So that girl that is rewiting the s5 with Neal instead of hook, decided to do 2 finale, one that she would have like to see, and that is what she calls the season finale for the 1st rewrite and with a diferent name from Swan Song, and she will do a rewrite of Swan song using canon facts but with Neal, all this bc she doesnt know if she will have time to do the S5B rewrite, but if she does she will use the Swan song version.
So here it is the “Blessed blades” story that ends the S5A rewrite:

Part of me feels like being cautious, because this could just turn out to be an “official” scoop on the Young Regina and Young Zelena casting, and not something truly new. We shall see, though.
Is probably about young Regina and young Zelena and after Adam will say epi 519 title to fit into that article.

The Season 2 Fall 2012 lineup promo, Wicked is Coming promo, Elsa promo, and Dark side promo all aired on TV. The Dark side promo even aired during the Oscars last Season. The fact is, yes they have filmed special footage specifically for promos, and yes those very examples have aired.
That is true, but all that have one key element, they have the main character on it and cruella and blind witch are not main characters of the arc, Hades is, so any promo would be filmed with the SB gang, in UW SB with Hades, not with Cruella and Blind witch, at least not with only those, they would have to include Pan, Cora, Milah, Liam, Hercules, Meg, also in all those promos the actors were already there filming, highly doubt that they would ask actors to go to Van just to film a 2 minute promo, when they could have filmed that already while having the cast there, so this is most likely they are going to be in one or more episodes.
In the Blind Witch sort of fits being in a Witch Hunter Dorothy episode and Victoria, she didnt said she would be in OUAT, they filmed a lot more shows in Van besides ouat but if is ouat, also fits, since they are maybe still in UW and Cruella is there.
Also, that casting call means that 519 is a Regina centric, probably written by Jane and the new writer.

They’ve set up tons and never returned to it. I see absolutely no reason why Mal/Lily and Black Fairy would be any different. It would be more shocking to actually return to those plot lines now so far after the fact
Lets not forget the Mulan and aurora saving philip that they always say next season and so far nothing, or how there are more things to show from the past year in S3 and is always the next season, just to name some, bc there are a lot of things they say they will show and they end not showing anything.
