Regina also made sure to go and ask Billy to fix the car, and since she wanted it done it could have made a difference too.
There are a lot of similarities to S01E02 where you see the morning after the clock moves in this episode. Red and Granny, Archie, and Gold–I thought that there were more similaritiies in this episode to welcome to storybrooke, than in the pilot.

I definitely like the Ursula theory, I was thinking Rumple or Regina would take the role, but I definitely like the idea of having an actual Ursula

They could however make it so that Hook is also Eric, such as that he was once a prince but something happened to make him become a pirate, and thus he changed his name. However once upon a time twists everything, and Hook and Eric have similarities (such as both sailing) that could make it plausible if he was not.
If you are under over 16 you can marry with your parents’ permission, based on a quick google search, however the film was released in 1989, so the laws may have been different then too 🙂Proud Keeper of the Dinglehoppers
