ONCE - Once Upon a Time podcast
Reviews, theories, and talk about ABC's Once Upon a Time TV show
Sneaky, indeed! I think she knows something about the nature of the dark ones power that maybe even rumple isn’t fully aware of.
He was still physically green/gold in the land without color, but I’m thinking because that land still has magical properties – rumple said it was small, unpracticed in frankenstein’s realm. I don’t know, I just think this might be something the writers tap into more. I mean, they never say or do anything in the show without some sort of intent, which is why blue’s quote is even more puzzling! (Thanks again for posting it!) 🙂
Thank you for posting this quote. That is rather strange. Perhaps the inherent darkness of the power is specific to the enchanted forest, maybe in another realm the power is different. Or maybe that kind of pure power upsets some sort of magical balance, hence his powers not belonging there.
I don’t know, but what blue says is interesting, and also knowing there were previous dark ones…
It confirmed that Zoso was not the original dark one. 😀
In terms of the second question, I remember the blue fairy mentioning something about the dark ones powers – they are not supposed to be in the enchanted forest.
Intriguing….
If that’s the case, that is incredible! I’ve always wondered about the concept of being “frozen in time.” I always just assumed the days went by, in a very distinct haze, and the characters never quite connected themselves to their current reality (ie: not remembering how they met each other, etc). If it really is the same day though, Henry would have obviously noticed. He’s been around for 10 years, and as we know isn’t cursed in any capacity. Although, if it’s just the same year repeating, or something like that, that would explain why in the promo Mary Margaret was giving the bird speech again. Anyway, there is something going on for sure. I’m hoping the concept of being frozen in time is explored more!
Hi there! I just joined today as well!
