Jumping in with my opinion about whether it was a TLK. I say no. I don’t think it has anything to do with whether one person is unconscious or not, I think that at least the person who is administering the kiss has to INTEND for it to be a kiss. Emma didn’t intend to kiss Hook, she intended to perform CPR.
Maybe I have a different perspective because I am a nurse and have performed CPR numerous times (it is much more pleasant with an ambu-bag but, darn it, patients don’t always collapse within reach of one). I can assure you – CPR is NOTHING like kissing someone. If it was, I have unfortunately just discovered that I have “kissed” some people you couldn’t pay me money to kiss and I probably need to inform my husband I have had some very brief lesbian encounters in my past. So, no, Emma didn’t kiss Killian so her CPR attempt could not be considered a TLK.
[adrotate group="5"]Does anyone think in the promo it looks like Emma is getting taken away by guards but Killy fights them off so that she doesn’t get taken to jail? You know, since he KNOWS what a traumatic event going to jail was in her life and how it basically destroyed her ability to trust and have relationships?
I’m dying from shock. One of my theories was actually right – I NAILED the portal theory!!! With only one episode to go, it’s about bloody time.
I kind of have this feeling the wedding is going to be a Snowing wedding from the past – one that Emma and Killian have to work to make sure happens when they are sent back in time so that Emma can be born. But I do wonder if Emma and Killy will end up engaged by the end of the finale – it would parallel the first episode of 3B with Walsh’s proposal.
Is it just me or have things gone very well for us in the episodes that have been preceeded with a tweet from Colin that includes “BOOM!”?
I have a crack theory about this week’s episode.
I have no idea why I thought of this but I was wondering how Emma and Killian are going to be sent back in time and something occurred to me when I saw the picture from the promo with Emma standing in front of Hook with his sword in the barn with the clock thingy on the ground – it looks remarkably similar to the scene in the second to last episode in season 2 when Tamara had just shot Neal and Emma got the gun and turned it on Tamara. Neal is lying on the floor behind Emma in basically the same pose. Then Tamara throws the bean on the ground and the portal opens up. Emma almost falls in but Neal grabs her and you think they are safe until he falls in. That’s when we got the “I love you’s” from Emma and Neal before he let go of Emma’s hand and fell into the portal. What if they parallel that. What if the WW manages to “start” the curse and the clock thingy starts to move and open up and either Emma or Killian falls into it and the other one grabs onto the other’s hand. It would be consistent to have them tell each other they love each other then but this time whoever falls in will refuse to let go. If the person who falls either can’t hold on any longer or they get sucked in and yanked away, I think the other person will jump in after them. It would be consistent with paralleling previous situations but also consistent with showing how Hook follows through on things that Neal didn’t, and it would show the True Love element of not being able to go on if something happened to the other person – this time no one would “assume” the person who fell through was dead, they would take their chances and go after them. I think there is a good chance it would happen just like before and be Killian who falls in. Here’s why: Emma just experienced Regina breaking the curse so she knows there is True Love between Henry and Regina, this time around she doesn’t have to worry about Henry being orphaned – she watched him happily telling Regina about his time in NYC and she watched Henry, Regina, and Robin walk away LOOKING LIKE A FAMILY. Also she had just learned that as opposed to allowing Charming to die after casting the Dark Curse, her own mother risked her life by doing something that had a completely unknown outcome because it was the only thing she could think to do AT THE LAST POSSIBLE SECOND that would give her the chance of being with her True Love – having her heart ripped out and split in two so she could share it with him. Next, how many times have we talked about the fact that Hook is the ONE person that has always gone back for Emma? And Emma has said several times this season that Hook found her – most recently when she told Regina that she trusted him she said it was because “he came back for me and he didn’t have to do that.” Plus I think there has been some foreshadowing. We know that the baby and Charming will be at the barn. In the scene where Emma was in the ball gown dancing with Charming – she gets sucked into what appears to be a tree/wardrobe type thingy but before she does she tells Charming not to fail with this baby too. I think it’s possible before she decides to go into the clock thingy with Killian she could look at Charming holding the baby and tell him something like she is glad that he will have a chance with this baby before she gets sucked in. We also had foreshadowing of Emma falling off a bridge when Regina was teaching her magic – and she does actually fall with Regina looking disturbed and staring down after her. I’m sure if I thought about it some more I could come up with some other things as well but those were the things that came to mind right away. Like I said – crack theory, and my theories are usually always wrong.
Considering JMo’s recent comments about Hook being hot, his hook bring weirdly sexy, and now this . . .wow . . . comment, I would say JMo has one or two of her own CS fanfics swirling around in her head!
@lumee23 I haven’t gone back to rewatch those scenes to check for the necklace but I’m not sure how I feel about that, are you?
I mean, if it is the case I get what they are trying to show but I think it kind of cheapens the sentimental value of the necklace. I think the necklace should only have held the significance of Emma’s ability to trust prior to Neal giving it back to her before he died. Neal was still a very special and important person to Emma, and to Henry, and I honestly like the idea of having Emma wear the necklace all the time – especially considering everything the poor guy went through to save his family. I don’t know, it just seems in poor taste to turn it into a statement item of Emma’s current level of trust.
It would be like having Killian choose roll up his sleeve to show off his Milah tattoo when he is feeling especially angsty. We know the tattoo is there, we know WHY it is there, we know Milah was special and important to him – it’s sentimental and just a part of who he is, leave it alone. I wouldn’t want to see an episode where he decides to have it removed but then gets in a fight with Emma, heads to local SB tattoo shop and gets it redone so we GET that he is feeling angsty . . .
Is it bad that when I saw the spoiler on tumblr about Killy being a Prince the FIRST thing I thought of was that the guy is like 300 years old so the chances of anyone who was heir to the throne before him still being alive is pretty slim which means he is likely KING Killian now – and after the last episode I am LIVING for the day the Charmings realize he trumps them in the royalty category and that their daughter will actually have married UP!!
That episode summary was so funny. I was reading it in bed last night and my husband was asleep. I was laughing hysterically but doing that thing where you are trying to silently laugh hysterically and you look like you are have a seizure because your entire body is shaking and it looks like you are in physical pain. I was literally crying I was laughing so hard and I woke my husband up because I was shaking from silent laughter so hard that I was shaking the bed and every now and then I would accidentally let out this weird snorting/sobbing/chocking sound when I got to a really funny part (Charming: I’ve got the solution – Kill me. Killy was having a rough day – Zelena smacked his lips with a Rose, you needed an IQ of less than 45 to go through the door, they were standing next to a large beer vat . . . oh, gosh where do I stop??).
