And he tweeted someone else that he met Lana on set, which I’m gonna guess was probably part of a flashback shoot, which probably reinforces the Regina/Ursula thing. Perhaps?

Perhaps ten years ago he brought Henry to SB and Regina saw him but a younger him. He could have givn the book to MM and then ten years later, came back and added stories to it

That’s possible except August didn’t change much in the way of appearance in those years. We saw him when Emma was probably only a week or so pregnant and then again when he rolled into Storybrooke 10 years later. He looks *very* much the same. So that’s why I think Regina only got a glimpse of him. Enough to stick in her memory but not enough to leave a serious impression.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"This is why I’m not overly worried about the “triangle” being one of those sensationalistic things that’s just done for romance drama. If/when Hook and Emma do become closer, it’s because Nealfire is bringing them closer together, because they each have their own personal relationship with him too. So any emotional drama will be genuine, meaningful evaluation of feelings on each of their behalves, as opposed to flippant, sexually fueled desire type drama. I think it’ll be really interesting to see how it all develops.

When Regina first met August in Storybrooke, episode 1.10 I think, she said that he seemed familiar to her. Now I don’t think there was any indication of Pinocchio and the Evil Queen ever crossing paths in the Enchanted Forest, so how would he be familiar to her?
I’ve always just sorta written that line off as a hint from the writers that August was gonna have a FTL identity.
I did too. But I admit that I thin August did have a minor roll in Henry. I think it was Tink, though, overall. Maybe Regina caught sight of August if he was with Tink.
