So Fairytale Land is a LAND, while Agrabah and the Enchanted Forest/Mist Haven, are realms within it that contain separate kingdoms within them. Also, Oz would be a land, and the Emerald City is a kingdom within it.

–It was really nice to see Sean. Ian Fleming was a good character and he had more to do here than Robin ever did post S3B of OUAT. This is what OUAT should have done with Robin; a sort of rougish, charming thief/spy with a good heart and tragic backstory.
–Can we petition to have Flynn be in a suit every episode? I mean, yum.
–I really can’t say enough nice things about the costumes.
–Flynn sees himself as a patriot; if he’s trying to save America and its ideals then I suspect Rittenhouse has somehow taken over America and has imposed a sort of corporate oligarchy. It would be pretty antithetical to everything America is supposed to stand for.
— Something bothering me: what kind of historian is Lucy? I guess general American history but she seems to be an expert in all periods of American history, from Lincoln to Hindenberg to WW2 (plus, apparently 1500 Catholicism). My training is in history and while I am knowledgeable about broad strokes of history, we have specialties.

How did Aladdin get to SB if Agrabah is an entirely separate realm? Shouldn’t he have been frozen in time like everyone else who wasn’t in the EF?
Agrabah is supposed to be in the same realm as the EF, just…east of it. The way I used to think of it was that the entire world was called Fairy Tale Land but that most of our characters are from the Enchanted Forest (Europe, if you will) and Agrabah is simply on another continent.
Aladdin did say he made his way to the EF and then got swept up in the Curse.

Like… if Gaston is turned into a rose and cutting his stem kills him, shoukdnt Amara have been dead? And its not like the two snake staffs look the same so was this before wonderland and before Jafar turned Amara into his staff? It really bothered me.
Wow. The implications of snapping the staff completely went over my head. UGH. Now that bothers me as well.

I was wondering the same thing because when Hector describes what a Shade is–someone who walks between worlds–I thought, “oh well the Native religions actually have those types of myths.” So is it historically accurate with the benefit of making the Park Workers the gods OR was it organic because of past glitches or times when the Hosts have gained consciousness.

Not that I can recall. I’ve doubted all along that they’d have Hook be the one who killed GrandpapaCharming but it was quite a popular theory.

Well, that was basically S5 with the Dark Swan and even then she was supremely underwhelming as the DarkSwanSavior. I don’t see them going down this path because it isn’t about Emma’s good and bad side like it is with Regina. It’s about her Savior side and the side that wants to be normal.
