So how about this: we agree to disagree and leave this alone forever because this is not a fun debate. This is not theorizing. This is just…irksome, to be perfectly honest. For all parties.
If you don’t think regulars also = core, fine. Personally, I see no difference. They are two terms that are equal but mean different things. Regular is in regards to the type of contract they have with the show, meaning they have to appear in a certain number of episodes per season. Core is how much they contribute to the story. Baelfire is the entire reason for the show, he is Henry’s father, a potential suitor for Emma, and the son of Rumple, so I consider him core. Belle is the TL of one of the main characters, is Henry’s future grandmother, a friend of the family, and has her own storylines. Thus, I consider her core. They are all regulars (MRJ becoming regular for S3), there is no debate about that.But, mostly I want to get back to the actual show and plot points, not trying to defend a characters status. They are all loved by Adam and Eddy. They are all going to be playing a major role in S3 and beyond. They are all important–to the show and to the fans.
