I’ve never bought the “Blue is evil” theory. I agree that she is sometimes a plot contrivance, but I don’t think she is a big bad.
At this point in the game, I believe is an agent for PP rather than THE BIG BAD, which was my “this is absolutely true” theory for the longest time. I think she was dispatched by PP to make sure Bae was separated from Rumple.

Wonder if that’s something they were gonna delve into when they originally had bigger plans for Red in S2? If the Merlin guess is right, and if they’d also originally planned on having Snow and Emma in FTL longer, (which I think they’ve mentioned in an interview somewhere), maybe they had plans to bring back Lancelot as well? Until their focus shifted and they changed things up.
Hopefully they can still do an ep about the origin of Red’s hood at some point.
You’re right, Meghan Ory mentioned it in an interview she gave not too long ago. Snow and Emma were going to be in FTL longer than 9 episodes. I wouldn’t mind if the went further into Arthurian legend, though I don’t think it can be this season since the focus is so heavily on NL and I don’t want them to take too many toys out of the box.

KeymasterI think they are two incredibly complicated individuals who have managed to rationalize their actions and I’m not sure if a list of their worst deeds can say “who is worse” because they are both flawed in different ways. Rumple wanted to not be a coward so he collected power and manipulated people, Regina wanted revenge and power so she terrorized and murdered people.

I think that necklace and the red coat for Ruby/Red came from the same gypsy. 😛
Possibly, though Granny said it was a Wizard who gave the red cloak to Ruby. My thought has always been Merlin who gave Ruby the cloak.

KeymasterIf Belle does assume a leadership role in SB, (which I hope she does), Blue may not like that. Possibly simply because as the most powerful being in town now, she believes she should be in charge. Possibly also because, if she is an agent for PP, and has been all this time, part of her cut in that deal was that one day she’d have supreme control over all of these people when the other major players in town left, (this is currently how I’m justifying her having been nowhere to be found in the finale, because she was laying low, waiting for things to play out and Charmingstiltskins&Co to leave), and now Belle is getting in her way. So Blue could give Belle a tip about Rumple being in FTL, and will encourage her to leave town.
I really want Blue to be unhappy that Belle has protected the town again. I suspect Blue has been in touch with the head of THO here on this side and has assured them that because the CharmingStiltskins have left, the town is now easy pickings.

As for the Bible names, yes that’s where they got the name for David because David was a shepherd who became a King. I would image that David’s father might have Biblical name to keep with tradition.
Jesse was the father of David in the Bible. So, perhaps in OUAT, David’s father was named Jesse.
I am perfectly happy with that. And then they can fit him into any mythology they want, Arthurian or NL (which seem to be the leading contenders on our board right now).

KeymasterIt’s a very interesting theory. Personally, I tend to see Tamara as a very minor foot soldier in the Home Office–she really isn’t all that important (though we will learn why she hates magic with such a passion). A and E have said in various places that Tamara was born here and that she doesn’t have an FTL counterpart, also Tamara said that she is human, but she also lies a lot. 😆

KeymasterIt’s true that we never learned what happened to Thomas at the well, but in one of the podcasts–I can’t remember which episode–A and E said that he just disappeared and wouldn’t reappear until Rumple got what he wanted, so you can assume that Ashley and Thomas never saw each other until she gave birth to Alexandra.
As for the Bible names, yes that’s where they got the name for David because David was a shepherd who became a King. I would image that David’s father might have Biblical name to keep with tradition.

What if Charming’s father was a knight of the round table? It would be a good way to lead back into the King Arthur legend.
I was thinking of that too. Did any of the knights have twins? We should look into that.
Also, I was thinking what if Charming’s father is one of the Lost ones who got away from NL.
