Didn’t the Lost Ones check the scroll against Bae to see? I think the Shadow is bringing boys for Peter to rip our their shadows and consume. But I also think the Shadow is Peter, his shadow to be precise. No matter what Peter needs the shadows of boys, but Henry’s shadow is special.

What happened to “all magic comes with a price” or perhaps Rumple considers being separated from Belle is the price he has to pay to keep her safe?
I hope we do see plenty of Belle next season. I also wonder if Belle is going to like using magic. If she is both, then the Lacey side of herself may get a kick out of being able to use magic like Rumple.
The first part does seem likely as he also considered his life the price he had to pay for bringing magic to SB to find Bae.

I believe you are referring to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire where Volide cam back to his true form with a potion made from flesh of a servant, bone of a father, and blood of the enemy (which was Harry).
I don’t know if it exactly parallels. My theory about Peter, the Shadow and Henry is this: (I copied this from another thread where I posted it)
If Peter can rip the shadow from you, maybe he’s using it to remain youthful forever. He is the boy who refuses to grow up after all. And maybe Henry, being a child of true love and but born into a world without magic is the perfect sacrifice. With Henry’s shadow Peter could potentially live forever without needing more boys.
It struck me last night how the Lost Ones seems almost like followers of ancient cults who are sent out to bring back what their “god” needs. They are bringing sacrifices. In the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur, 7 boys and girls are brought to Crete and placed in the Labyrinth as a sacrifice for the beast. It could be something similar where Peter needs the shadows to live until he finds that one perfect Shadow (Henry). This potentially sets up Neal and Hook, being the two members of our happy part who have had extensive dealings with Peter and the Lost Boys, to rescue the boys and Henry from Peter which is where I think S3 is headed."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"You can’t keep them apart forever. I can see her and Granny staying behind (if only because of Meghan’s limited contract) but sure, take Whale. He knows abut science. Though I don’t know if that’s really what THO believes in anymore as they appear to be working for Peter Pan.

I am under the impression that the danger posed by THO is going to be a season long thing.
