All the possibilities are open, I agree. They can go anywhere with this. But if it is Jefferson then I hope they’ve been talking to Seb because right now the man is super busy and we may not see him again for a long while.

I don’t know whether the reason Peter Pan wanted Henry will be because Henry is born of true love. If it is then it would pretty much kill any other romantic options for Emma because Neal would supposedly be her true love. I think a triangle between Hook/Emma/ Neal will occur but if Neal and Emma are supposedly true loves then it takes out all the who’s she going to choose? factor. It would end up as another David/ Kathryn/ MM triangle where we know two of the people are supposed to be together because they are true loves and the third person is just standing in the way.

See, I would have agreed with you up until SSTtR where I believe it was established that Neal and Emma are true love and that to put Emma with Hook now would only be a shortly lived rebound. I think Hook and Emma are destined to become best friends, but where once I did see them having a romantic relationship that was real, I don’t anymore. But that’s just my opinion. I think Hook is doing all this to help out Bae because he feels very guilty having turned young Bae over to the Lost Ones. I think he cares greatly for Bae and wants to make amends. So putting him back with his one true love, father and son seems to be the way to do it.
But that’s the beauty of Once. We all see it differently.

For future reference, they didn’t say his name but the leader (according to the ploy synopsis) is Felix.

Ok this may be a whishful thinking theory, but the boy that’s “leader” of the gang: Could that be a young Jefferson? The blonde shock of curls sticking out under the hood could be a hint. There was this huge sign saying “Cleaners & Hatter” in Neil’s appartment and in Wendy’s bedroom there is a picture of the playing card soldiers on the wall, so they seem to want to link Bae and Wonderland up somehow. This would start to put those dots together.

I do think Bae and Jefferson know each other but Jefferson’s hat can probably travel to NL and he gone there in search of squid ink and that’s where he met Bae but he didn’t realize it was Rumple’s son.

In the wise words of Sawyer from LOST

Folks down on the beach might have been doctors and accountants a month ago, but it’s Lord of the Flies time now.

I agree. I think S3 is going to be full of Lord of the Flies parallels.

And of course, biggest of all, I want them to find a way to keep Belle involved. But Emilie has tweeted that she will continue to be a regular next season so here is hoping

Did she??? Any chance you can find that tweet? If I saw that, I might actually start calming down.

So a few flashbacks, current day Neverland, Storybrooke and Enchanted Forest (assuming that’s where MAP & Nealfire are). Simple.

lol. That’s simple?? To you and I, yes. But we are not normal causal viewers. To the casual viewer who is not an active member of the fandom, that’s a lot.

It’s possible that Rumple didn’t go to NL because there isn’t actually magic there, but Wendy and Bae both said that there was. So there had to be something else stopping him, forcing him to wait to get the curse cast and find Bae in the Land Without Magic. Either something so scary that he was afraid, even as the DO, to face it (combined with knowledge that Bae was at least safe?), reliance on the prophecy as determining only one possible outcome–but then why trade for things like the slippers?–or something that actually prevented him from going to NL before this moment.

I think Rumple went to NL to get his squid ink for his over plan regarding the Curse, ran into Peter who rips out the shadows of children to stay young forever. Rumple’s shadow (as the Dark One) might have been a great “meal” for Peter and that’s why Rumple knows how dangerous he is: Peter tried to rip out the Dark One’s shadow.

A few things as I read:
–We know that Neal came to our world in 1991. On his wanted poster it said he was born in 1977, but he came here when he was 14. So he had to have come through in 1991.

I don’t know about NL time moving faster. You don’t age in NL and clearly Neal didn’t, he was 14 for a very long time. If anything NL’s time is much slower.

NL can move through time: ehhh. Maybe? I think it’s more likely that Peter has prophetic abilities. Prophecy seems to be playing a large role this season and next as we never fully dealt with the undoing of Rumple’s prophecy.

I didn’t get the feeling that he was the leader of the Lost Boys, just of the group that was tasked to deal with Hook.

Side note: Hook refers to them as the Lost ONES. I think that was a deliberate change to allow girls into the group.

Yes I noticed that too. Yet, the shadow only wants boys. If it is bringing them to rip out their shadows to stay young forever, boys make the most sense since Peter is in fact..a boy. (until H and K turn him into a girl named Petera which let’s face it, is very possible).
So why did it bring Wendy? Maybe it knew of her connection to Bae and wanted information from her first?
