Yes, and I’m hoping we get a brief flashback in S3 or how Mulan and Aurora managed to rescue Philip’s soul, which could have been in Neverland. Perhaps there is a way to travel between the EF and NL, and if so, that could be how the Charmings, Regina, and Rumple eventually are reunited with Baelfire! 😀
The key word here being BRIEF. I was really surprised that we didn’t see them until the last possible second. I wonder how they are going to square the actors schedules as Jamie and Sarah are picked up for the new season on different shows.

It still doesn’t really rationalize why they left one person behind. The family went. Even Hook because I would consider him family too. Belle is family, she’s Rumple’s true love. I’m sure if someone had said, “We need the BF” her plot device-y self would have popped up and done what Rumple needed. But oh no! Let’s break up one of the most popular ships AFTER they’ve spent how long apart!?

I understand that. But she could have convinced him otherwise. Or said she wasn’t going to be without him because she has already spent most of this year apart from him and I’m forcing what I want onto this character….

PP was a child of two worlds in many regards. I think the Shadow is PP and he wants a host. And he needs a very special host.

NL of the present.Seeing a lot of SB would be too much. I don’t get why they split her away. Didn’t they learn that they can’t separate the cast? They did that in the first half of this season and it was disjointed and confusing for causal viewers.
