This is what Bae is wearing when he comes to live at the Darling’s house

He is wearing a different shirt (see the bit of white in the second pic?)
Also the jacket in the second picture looks less beat up. In London his clothes were much dirtier and well worn.
Thus, I think Hook gives him new clothes and our timeline looks like this:
Bae comes to London and lives with the Darling Family
Bae sacrifices himself for Michael Darling and is taken to NL

I do think there is a lot more to the Bae story and there were so many obvious Peter Pan callbacks that I’m not prepared to rule out Nealfire Pan in some form.
I proposed a new twist though, which might just be the solution: whoever manages to capture the Shadow becomes the next Pan. If Baelfire eventually subdued the shadow, he could become the next stand-in for Pan, which is more of a leadership position than it is a single person. Baelfire might start out as a pirate and member of Hook’s crew (seems likely), but he might just eventually decided to free the Lost Boys from the shadowy figure in NL.
I agree. I think he is going to be a reverse PP. I think instead of bringing kids to NL, Bae is going to be taking them home.

Someone said this in the chat last night and I have to agree but how he is with Lacey is like a glimpse of what a Cora/Rumple relationship would have been like. Even when he was the Dark One in FTL he was still capable of empathy and let’s face it, he wasn’t as evil as he could have been given the level of his powers. Watching him in SB is super hard because he’s gone all dark side.
I also really enjoyed the fight scene between Tamara and Emma. Emma is a rockstar and I hope she gets to do some magic again before the season is out.

He created the curse, how much dirtier can you get than that and he manipulated Regina into inacting it because he didn’t want to do it himself.
This is something I want them to address in S3 because it is still really unclear if the Curse was already in existence before Rumple or if he created it from scratch. In The Return the Blue Fairy said:

It seems like the Curse is already in the world, but that Rumple had to find it and put it together. Yet when he talks about it, like in A Land Without Magic he says he created it.

It’s the whole reason why he couldn’t kill Robin Hood in Lacey. If he did create some sort of shadow to hunt down Bae, why would the shadow be taking all these other boys to the island and leaving them there?

Which brings me back to my thought that Bae and Hook and his crew are responsible for taking the boys home. A reverse Peter Pan of sorts. If the shadow is keeping them there, perhaps not maliciously if the shadow is just immature and wants friends, then perhaps it is Bae and Hook who return the boys home.

It wants companionship forever and can’t understand why someone would want to leave Neverland. Wendy did say it was a great place in the daytime because there are no adults around, there are mermaids and fairies and all sorts of creatures.
I wonder if Bae’s past in NL will be a sort of reverse Peter Pan. Pan brought children to NL, maybe Bae takes them home. If the shadow can’t “see sense” about letting sad boys go home to their parents, then maybe Bae and Hook use the JR to take the boys home, stealing them (as it were) from the shadow.

Where else have they been in our world because Tamara said that this wasn’t the first time the Home Office has been doing what it’s doing? I still think they probably recruited Dorothy after she got back from Oz, which we know was at least 28 years go.
