KeymasterSo having Wendy and Nealfire (WendFire?)
I kinda like FireDarling
And if things between Nealfire and his father start improving, he’ll need a new conflict storyline, and I’d prefer something like this to having him trying to interfere with CaptainSwan while that’s playing out.
I agree, and because I do believe Neal’s relationship with Rumple will improve starting very soon, he needs something else. And MRJ is too good to just make it a love triangle.
So, to recap: the newest element of the Home Office theory is that it was put together by people who have been affected by magic and not the real world. So maybe Wendy had a hand in it. Still open for possibility: Dorothy, Igor (Whale’s assistant).

What if she (Wendy) is the one of the ones that started it? We assume it is someone “real world” running the organization, but maybe it was formed in response to the curse itself from within an afflicted world. That would be sort of new and different from the usual government organization thing. Someone on another thread brought up Igor, Whales assistent–there must have been characters left behind that searched for answers for where people went.
Oh interesting. So the Home Office was put together by a lot of different story characters, who had some experience with magic and/or lost someone they knew. So we could include: Wendy, Dorothy, Igor, maybe someone from Wonderland?

KeymasterI’m going to play around with this idea because HappyEndings is right that the lake was dried up in Lady of the Lake after the Siren died. But the water was still there somehow/somewhere because Cora activated it and Rumple was able to use it to bring magic.
So I think the water exists in multiple world simultaneously. In mythology, water is always pretty important and has special properties. So I think it can be in our world and in FTL at the same time. It’s a connection between the two which is why it is so effective as a restorer of magic and a portal."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterIt could still work, if it was Wendy herself, affected by her time in NL, who came to hate magic and changed the course of the organisation that her father had originally founded with the intention of finding her, and her brothers. Maybe her brothers didn’t get stuck in NL with her, and by the time she managed to get out, her whole family was dead, and she blamed magic for having lost the opportunity of sharing her life with them? That would put her in a similar mindset to Greg, (and potentially Tamara if the Robin/Marian theory pans out).
Hmmm. I would be ok with this change and I like all the parallels. Parents and their children have been a huge theme running through this season: Snow and Emma, Emma/Henry/Regina, Jefferson and Grace, Regina and Cora, Bae and Rumple, Greg and Kurt, a pregnant Marian.

The well water is the water from Lake Nostos. It’s the water that brought back Frederick when he’d been turned into a gold statue. It’s the water that brought back Snow’s ability to have children when she’d been made barren by George. It’s the water that brought Snow and Emma back to SB from FTL. And when Mr Gold dropped his vial of true love down the well, it brought back magic. That well water has proven itself as effective.
I agree and even though it was August who physically returned the storybook to Emma, it was only after she drank the water and opened the door a teeny tiny bit to being a believer. I do think the cup (Belle’s talisman) and the water will bring back Belle. And it will be tonight. Rumbelle prayer circle

KeymasterNeverland has fairies. Perhaps part of the “final preparations” that the BF made were to alert her fellow fairies like Tinkerbell about the dark curse. Even if Blue didn’t have her memories during the curse, she might have instructed Tinkerbell to make sure Bae would meet Emma and produce Henry. So, maybe Tinkerbell told Wendy about the curse, or maybe Wendy followed Baelfire back to A Land Without Magic circa 1991.
Anytime we can start pointing a finger at the BF, I’m all in. I wonder if Tinkerbell got Bae out of NL, then, when the time was “right”
Admittedly, I wasn’t very keen on that theory from the start, because I prefer the Darling family to be protagonists than affiliated with antagonists like Tamara.
I remember. But I wasn’t suggesting they were evil or antagonists, but rather they formed the Home Office to find Wendy and then after their death it got turned into the antagonistic regime. But, it looks like I’m probably wrong (again) and it’s back to the drawing board.

KeymasterAs for what “Home Office” really is, Adam said, “Hopefully, it’s not what you think
Does this mean that because my Darling Family/Dorothy theory is so crackpot, it could be right?! 😆
Not to be forgotten, Adam and Eddy assured that we will find out what happened to Greg’s father Kurt Flynn (John Pyper-Ferguson) before the end of the next episode, and as Eddy forewarned, “No one leaves Storybrooke.” So if Greg’s father never left Storybrooke, where has he been hiding?
Really hope he’s not already dead, but it’s starting to point in that direction
He was also hesitant to confirm whether Baelfire’s story continues into Season 3.

KeymasterBut back to Wendy being in SB: How would she know about the town? Hook didn’t know about the Curse until Cora told him so I’m guessing it wasn’t wide spread information (though of course, how did Cora know?)
Hmmm. I rather liked the idea of her being in NL still.
Also, if she’s here, does that kill my Home Office = originally started by the Darling family because I was rather fond of that theory."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterI could see adult Wendy being in SB if she decided to come there from NL. I’m not sure why she’d want to settle in a cursed town, but maybe she came there after Emma broken the curse. Maybe she’s looking for Baelfire. I smell another possible love triangle.
