KeymasterIs Cora’s endgame to become the Dark One? She really doesn’t care about Regina at all?? I was thinking that getting Regina on her side was at least a small goal, but now I’m thinking that she really wants to BECOME the Dark One. After all, all she knows is what “Master” taught her.

Midnight: well, it does now! I’m thinking Slurpeez is right. Maybe the Seer tells him his destiny, to become evil and cause choas, and he runs away thinking to avoid it and thus by not wanting to believe the prophecy, he actually walks right into in. Classic trope in Greek literature.

KeymasterYES. I’ve been waiting for this!!
“Realizes his destiny…” that’s interesting. Did the Seer predict he would be the Dark One. I was under the impression he didn’t know much about Zozo (sp?) before he decided to take the curse on himself to save Bae.

KeymasterDo we know how old Rumple was when he was in the Ogre’s War? Or how long the Ogres War even lasted? Because in “The Crocodile” Milah made it seem like the war was more recent because she wanted to become an “honored widowed” meaning she and Rumple were already married.

KeymasterNow that I’ve seen the kid next to Colin and Josh, he does look very Josh-like. And if this is a James episode, it would explain the Huntsman being around.

KeymasterI think anything is possible, Lil’ Red, in this episode!!
My thoughts were that Rumple has been captured during the Ogres War and is being held with children, which I think endears him toward Bae when he learns (maybe from the Seer) is about to be born. And why he becomes so desperate to protect Bae later in life, he knows what happens to children during these wars."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"RumplesGirl
KeymasterWell, I’m glad to learn the older Seer doesn’t want her powers anymore. Means Rumple didn’t take them by force. I wonder what else she predicts for him. I agree with the people who say she probably foretold Bae’s birth, which is part of the backstory we’re getting in this episode. With how close this episode is to 2×16 I wonder if the Seer pointed him in the direction of Cora.

KeymasterShe does look a lot like Adult Cora. The casting team on this show are so good at their jobs.

If your heart is crushed YOU DO?!?!?! I can understand flashbacks, but him in SB wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense to me."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love" -
