It does feel like they set up Mulan Rogue and then got cold feet for some inexplicable reason? Was it Disney??
I was wondering the same thing.
If that’s so it makes me incredibly sad. It means that 1) Disney has a pretty limited definition of family and 2) they don’t understand their own mass universal appeal. I mean good god…how big is lgbt Disney fanbase. Imma go with massive.

All the souls will likely be freed as well. It may be that simple. Killing him will be challenging, but once it’s done, I feel like so many things will become easy.
It does sound simple except that they’ve driven home the point that Hades is a God…those thingys are notoriously hard to kill. Of Emma does it, I’m all for it (cosmic storytelling and all) but if it’s not then I’ve got some problems.

I was very frustrated with this ending and I can only assume it was forced (though it isn’t ENTIRELY OOC for her) because Emilie needed maternity leave…which probably also shades Snowing’s choice, as beautiful as that moment was.
Then as much as I would roll .y eyes, whip up a magical macguffin for her to chase and let Em have her time off. It’s silly but as at least it’s not this stupidity.

She was until last episode when she uttered that darkness will always win. She’s in a bad place, I agree, and what made last week compelling was that she is starting to see the gray and not hold to a black and white worldview. That should extend to more than just Rumple; it should include herself and her father and their relationship. She has absolute faith in her father (despite evidence to the contrary) but not in Rumple (again, despite all she learned last week and just in general)? It’s like they washed away all development last week in order to have the plot this week.

But that’s not how TLK works. It has to be a mutual thing. And surely the shows version of Google who reads nothing but hero-romance tales knows this.
