KeymasterYet, then he learned Emma had a vision of Neal in heaven and told Milha to say hello to Bae from his papa. (You know, before he sent Milha into the River of Lost Souls)
This was the most frustrating….!!!
Milah and Rumple finally have this kind of beautiful moment and Rumple actually felt like a human being again, not some cliche black hat and then….shove! Right into the vat of Lime Green Kool-Aid.

KeymasterEmma plz get a hint already. The man has told you to let him go like three times now. Just…do it. Okay?

KeymasterI thought it was interesting that Rumple was seeking Baelfire.
Same. I suppose just to talk to him? Or maybe he did have a plan, but it also looks like that just got shot to heck (ha! pun)

KeymasterLOL. Yes. Also my questions are pointless. But why did Hades, in universe, chose those gals?
I’ll need to rewatch the episode to check for sure, but didn’t Hades have Rumple pick out the names or did they clarify that it was Hades himself?
Did he?? I don’t know honestly. I must have missed that if true. But then why did Rumple pick those three? Like, that’s still his son’s true love, his grandson’s two mothers, and his grandson’s grandmother

Keymasterexcept Milah and Hook got a giant, pointless, ret-conny meeting scene, so……
Yes what was the point of that? Really pretty pointless. We know Milah was miserable. We know Milah runs away with Hook. So…what have this random set up?

KeymasterThey are the three main characters of the show.
LOL. Yes. Also my questions are pointless. But why did Hades, in universe, chose those gals?

KeymasterFinally proof that Rumple had physical affairs with Cora, somebody owes me some cookies.
Yeah I kinda hate you right now. We’ve only been fighting over this for three years….

KeymasterWow, that episode. On the one hand, tons of retconning (trying to make Hook look better in the flashback, ugh) and OOC-ness (having Milah and Gold sort of resolve things and then him ‘kill’ her AGAIN, the whole sketchy second born deal which may or may not be incredibly OOC for Spinner Rumple, YMMV), on the other hand…they essentially rebooted Rumplestiltskin’s character arc to be once again about making terrible decisions related to a child, and there is a tiny, TINY part of me that can kind of respect that. I feel like it’s Adam and Eddy recognizing that this is Rumplestiltskin at his most compelling.
I completely agree. It re-centered his story in a horrifying way that makes me *head desk*, but it re-centered it. It seems clear to me that A and E recognize that Rumple’s entire story was being a father so maybe killing his son was a stupid idea!

KeymasterI’d been waiting forever for the reveal that Emma had been with both Milha’s lover and son. I was hoping for more of a reaction, but whatever. At least it’s no longer swept under the rug.
THAT.
THAT. Just THAT.

KeymasterSorta looks like some of us called it: the Brothers Jones mutiny against Captain Silver and take command.
