"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"Well after getting caught up on some TV from last night, I’m pretty sure there is one fandom that is going to make sure–come heck or highwater–that their ship wins.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"The Family, which had its special night premiere last night, got a 1.5. That’s low for a premiere, but a little higher than what OUAT and Quantico got for their most recent episodes. We shall truly see how it does in comparison to OUAT and Quantico this Sunday.
I’m sure they are hoping that OUAT will give it a nice lead-in boost but given that OUAT is already on the low end of the spectrum, I’m not confident that their plan is going to work.
Speaking of….predictions for 5×12 premiere? Normally I’d say we’d jump .1 or .2 (giving us a 1.5 at most which would be a good way to start off) but this year there’s a few things to take into consideration, not the least of which is that ABC has done a poor job of promoting the 100th episode. Also, 5A was the first time we didn’t rise in the demo after a hiatus. That trend could very well continue. I don’t think we’re going to fall below a 1.3.
So my prediction: 1.4—a slight uptick in the demo but nothing to write home about.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"Yes they can very easily work in Aladdin/Jasmine, Princess and the Frog characters into a one-off; but for these particular casting calls, it’s most likely not them.
I don’t think it’s the brothers Grimm because I really believe they would have done that for the Author plot line. Its like the most obvious thing they could have done. I don’t think they’d make the storytelling more complicated by having two other corrupted authors.
This doesn’t jive, though. I mean, yes, having the Brothers Grimm during the Author plot would have made a tremendous amount of sense but its not like OUAT doesn’t re-tread already walked upon ground. They are constantly plagiarizing themselves, reusing old ideas or themes in new seasons. The Author Isaac dealt with the book and answered those questions. But, for me, the big question of how our stories are so different from what the Onceiverse has shown is still a big question and one that A and E keep saying they do want to answer…so I do think it’s the Brothers Grimm and we’re going to learn how the stories of the EF, NVL, ect ended up in our world. That’s really the final big mystery to conclude the entire series.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"I agree with POM actually. Zelena and Robin might be the exception, but you can’t get rid of, say, Emma, Regina, Snow and/or Charming (you could very easily get rid of one, but not both) or Rumple. Those five are still the crux.

According to Sean’s agent (pretty sure it was his agent) Sean is finished filming before everyone else this year. Hence the rumors that this means Robin is gonna bite the bullet. It probably just means that Robin’s part is smaller than other characters in the finale which makes waaaay more sense.

Yeaaaaah, Zelena’s not in 5×12. I have no idea what that is from, but Bex didn’t come back to Vancity to film until 516. Also, that’s totes Mrs. Gulch’s bike, no?
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"The connection to Demeter doesn’t need to be to what Demeter was “goddess of” but what her story is–the mother who lost her child to the god of the Underworld and the lengths the mother goes to to protect said child. I’d say more but…well, I’ve seen the premiere 😉
But yes, I agree that Cora could work as a stand in for Persephone. Just depends on which direction the story goes.
