    or de-age Emma and make her as impulsive, selfish, and emotionally incompetent as Hook is, thus reversing all her gains as a character since S1.

    Well said overall. The podcast I linked to a page back covered this as well. They talked about how every season (at least past S3A) Emma is emotionally re-set to zero (complete with all her walls) as if the past seasons didn’t happen and we’re expected to believe that she’s scared, and unsure of herself every time we turn over a new arc.

    Did Regina and Hook recognize each other when she stopped him from killing Belle in 209, though? If they didn’t recognize each other then it’s unlikely that they had an adventure during the nine months between wedding and curse.

    not only does Hook kill Merlin to start the curse but Emma erases everyone’s memories to cover it up and help out Hook. Emma Swan. What are you?!
