guys, I’m so glad Emma’s entire hero journey as been reduced to be all about her male love interest. I mean, it’s great. This season wasn’t really about Emma at all, not her her individual self as she stands on her own, but really it’s about her boyfriend’s man pain and how Emma’s has a magical *mumbles vulgar things* that will cure him of his darkness. It’s so great.

And in present day SB before Hook got his memories back, it was all “Rumple was the victim, I was the villain, I regret everything, I am a good man now…so on and so forth.” Not having your memories shouldn’t impact the level of darkness in your soul (which is apparently the same as Emma’s) nor should it take away all the hallmarks of being the DO.
As for the peek itself: Bobby is amazing, even as DO Clippy Rumple. That’s….about all I have to say.
