    Well.

I am going to need some more time to properly form thoughts but I think this is easily my *least* favorite episode this season, and it’s going to go somewhere near the bottom of “overall least favorite” episode.

Here’s why I’m struggling though. The concept Gatiss presents is really creating a story about creating a story. This episode seems designed to be subjective–Gatiss wants you to either love it or hate depending on your perspective of what makes a good story, just like Rasmussen was hoping everyone would enjoy the story that he crafted. In that regard, it’s brilliant. It’s either Doctor Who at it’s most bold and experimental (trying something very new after 52 years) OR it’s boring, cliche, and full of Doctor Who trappings like too-dark corridors, silly B-level science fiction monsters, exposition that is too mumbo jumbo to really understand, and it all hinges on the climax of the episode in the last few minutes which only comes about after dragging on forever and doesn’t make a lick of sense (the gunk in your eyes becomes a monster? But not really? It’s a transmission? What?)

So, in sum…the concept Gatiss wants to posit about the subjectivity in creating a story, and the execution of that concept (the 1st person perspective because we all tell our own stories from a 1st person perspective) is great. But the in-universe actual Doctor Who episode was a mess, silly, and frankly stupid.

So…I’m torn. But for the moment, it’s my least favorite episode of the season.

Here’s next weeks (not a sequel to this week’s, surprisingly)

she was at the restroom in Granny’s (she is always there anyway) when they went to Camelot.

This is what I’m banking on. However, if Ruby found a portal to the EF I may have to start my drinking earlier.

Haven’t done Aladdin and Jasmine yet. They’ve got their big bad already set up, so as long as Naveen’s available, we’ll probably get them all next season.

And that might be an issue because I’m not 100% sure how Sense8 shoots.

How long ago was this flashback though?

    LOLZ timeline questions.

Honestly, the thing that bugged me the most about this clip is was he really waiting until, like, the day before battle to get his daughter some combat training? Really? You’re gonna let your own child, the heir to your kingdom, just stroll into a bloody battle where it’s expected that most people will die, when she’s had barely any training for combat? RLY?

There is probably a magical mcguffin somewhere that helps her!

Well….if Snow knows Hercules as could be indicated by the picture above, what if they were trained by the same person: Philoctetes! Yeah, the little goat man!

Sure. Eventually we’re bound to be right about the question of who trained Snow.

    Hercules’s wardrobe is…interesting.

I wonder if the relationship will last past just this episode.

    And yet; no love.

And they still wouldn’t have given any LGBT love if 1) they hadn’t gotten absolute confirmation that Jamie Chung could come back and 2) if ABC hadn’t apparently ordered an extra episode (this one) meaning they suddenly needed a–*ahem*–filler episode and why we were told (many times) that S5A would be 10 and S5B would be the remaining 12.

This is what Kacey Rohl, Megara, looks like:

Oh spot on casting, once again. I know I gripe about a lot, but they’ve always nailed casting.

It’s a fake pic but I’m still going for the name Ivy. It’s foresty and green so it suit Robin and Zelena perfectly.

Ivy, Esmeralda (might fit the outcast theme they have with Zelena), Jade
