KeymasterRatings are in for episode 504 “The Broken Kingdom”
Viewers: 4.85 million
Demo: 1.6
We’re losing eyeballs, but the demo remains steady. However, if more eyeballs leave, the demo will start to drop again.

HOW TO EXPLAIN THE CS SHIP IN TWO PICTURES.

KeymasterFirst bit of ratings analysis for episode 504 “The Broken Kingdom”
“Once Upon a Time” scored an identical 3.1/ 5 in the overnights in the 7-9 p.m. daypart. Comparably, this was a loss year-to-year of 34 percent for “Once Upon a Time” (versus a 4.7/ 7 on 10/19/14)
So, we’re probably going to be getting a 1.6 or 1.7 in the demos when they come out later today.

KeymasterIs the sand still in effect now in storybrook? Because Guinevere is not suddenly rebelling, but memory wiped Snowing are still acting like themselves. I think.
I think it’s in effect still. Guinevere is still under control and Snowing are trusting of Arthur but they don’t remember that they trusted him in the past so they are learning to trust him all over again but without realizing that their trust is actually because of magical sand.
Or…something like that.

KeymasterConsider this: while Emma was making dreamcatcher, the thing that stopped the terrible Rumple voice for awhile, was Hook and a field of flowers. A flower that Emma kept in present day and was cradling, much like cradling the dreamcatcher in the promo for next week
The same flowers, by the way, that Arthur used to woo Guinevere (and later gave her after he threw the sand on her).
Really? I missed that. Probably because I was getting rather *eye twitchty* at the entire episode.
Like I said to Slurpeez, I’m not holding out any hope for anything in which CS bites the dust. I just can’t do that anymore with this show. But I mean…if it turns out she’s right, then you guys know I’ll be at the party.
ETA: I don’t deny all the parallels between Hook and Arthur. I caught most of them last night (hello getting women drunk and rape sand!) but I think, if anything, the show will turn it around so that Hook is actually the “more upstanding” version of Arthur who is the true hero of Camelot of something equally silly and gag worthy. The show doesn’t like to focus on Hook’s villainy, only his supposed heroism and “love” for Emma.

Keymaster“Highway to Hell” (Adam and Eddy do love their music references).
That’s it. That’s it right there.
Seeing as we don’t have a 512 sub-forum yet, I figured this’d be the best place to post it.
*yawn* Let me drink a cup of coffee first and I’ll get on it.

KeymasterThe bottle of sand is one of the shows worst plot devices. I dunno. I think the writers just wanted to name drop Avalon because it’s so heavily associated with Arthurian mythology but instead of actually doing anything with the isle, they just came up with a random sandy thing.
